Have been here a few times now, it’s a great spot for classic English high tea (or afternoon tea). Good to know— people get dressed up to go here. The owner is very involved and lovely to chat with. Scones and everything very delicious except for the clotted cream, which was butter, not clotted cream. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as they typically don’t take walk ins, and very important to show up on time as each table has a time limit of 1hr 30 mins in order...
We had an amazing time at afternoon tea. The selections of teas were amazing. Also, the scones were to dream about. The ginger room is such a fun experience and we will for sure come again!
This tea room is cute and, when physically there, the service is great; However, getting someone on the phone to make a (required) reservation is very challenging at times. Once you do have someone on the phone you’re obligated to give them your card number over the phone for a deposit. While the food is tasty the bill is higher than the value of the food.
