“Stopped in yesterday on a road trip back home to Florida. We packed 11 hungry bodies into this place on a Friday afternoon and they did not skip a beat. Got tables put together, menus out and drinks on the table within 3 minutes. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was the absolute sweetest with all of the kids. The ribs, chicken and strawberry cake were all awesome. Only lost a star for the Brisket as it still had quite a bit of hard deco fat that was not trimmed off before cooking. If we are ever in the neighborhood again I will definitely stop by to try some more of their menu.”
“Title: Biscuit Bonanza at Dairy Queen: A Dough-lightful Delight!Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)Prepare to have your taste buds do the happy dance! My recent visit to Dairy Queen turned into a biscuit bonanza that left me utterly dough-lighted. If you thought Dairy Queen was just about ice cream, think again!Let's talk about the homemade biscuit that stole the show. Imagine a biscuit so golden and buttery that it could give the sun a run for its money! As I took my first bite, a symphony of flakiness and tenderness played on my tongue, reminding me of my grandma's secret biscuit recipe. It was a warm embrace from within, the kind that only comfort food can provide. But here comes the twist—the biscuit was so massive that I briefly considered using it as a flotation device on my next beach trip! Seriously, this biscuit could double as a life raft. And you know what they say, when life gives you an enormous biscuit, smother it with gravy and enjoy every mouthful.Speaking of gravy, their savory options were a perfect match made in culinary heaven. The biscuit soaked up the goodness like a sponge, creating a flavor explosion that was almost sinful. I couldn't help but wonder if this biscuit had a secret identity as a superhero, saving taste buds from blandness with its buttery cape!As I relished this dough-lightful creation, I couldn't help but reflect on the simple joys of life—like a biscuit that makes you close your eyes and savor the moment. In a world of rush and chaos, Dairy Queen's homemade biscuit reminded me that sometimes all you need is a bit of buttery magic to make everything right. So, if you're ready to embark on a biscuit adventure that'll leave you grinning from ear to ear, head over to Dairy Queen. Trust me, these biscuits are so good that even the cows are "moo-tivating" each other to visit!”
“If you ever in the Cornelia area. This is a must try place to get you some good snacks. This is a family owned small business always making sure you feel welcome. Their snacks are delicious always hard to choose just one thing. Friendly multicultural environment, you can either choose to take out or dine in. They have multiple tables if you decide to dine in. If you decide to give them a chance to visit them ask for La Muchacha and tell her Jose from Google sent you.”
“This afternoon we celebrated my mom's Birthday. Her first time eating here. Some had the buffet line, some had the grill menu. Everything was great! One particular worker, angel was so nice to my momma after she fell from her getting up from her chair. She stayed with my momma until the paramedics came. I forgot her name, but I told her thanks for everything she did.Best homecooking we have had! Grist service, wonderful prices. Definitely will be back!”
“Midtown Grill in Cornelia was good. All the stagf was friendly. They were very busy, but we were still served quickly. It was close to the Chattahooee Stables in Sautee Nachochee. The reviews kept talking about their hamburgers, so we wanted to try for ourselves. They had several different specialty ones. I got the Atlamta, and my husband got the Midtown. The flavors went well together. I would go back.”
“My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here. I got the special of the day, a ham and cheese sandwich with a yummy sauce (croc meseur bechaml) and my husband got the chicken salad sandwich which he said was the best he’s ever had. We’ll be back!”
“The food here is excellent! They kind of need to work on their latte (tasted like flavored coffee rather than a latte,) but the food was so good that I can’t let that affect my review overall.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this course. To start with the bag check in young kids are super courteous, the staff at the clubhouse were super friendly and helpful. The course amenities are excellent from the putting green to the driving range. This is the first time playing the course and it was not brutal with very hittable fairways and big greens, however the greens are multilevel and putted fast today. Be sure to be below the hole, LoL.It is a hall outside of the ATL perimeter but we’ll worth the drive. I’ll put it on my regular courses to play. They are aerating the greens starting on the 10th of July, beware.”
“Excellent food and plenty of choices. Staff very attentive and friendly..families welcomeKid-friendliness: Kids and families high chairs available booster chairs kids menu”
“Came for the coffee, stayed for breakfast and had my expectations exceeded. The menu was really good, but the food was better. The coffee was exceptional. This place is a rare gem. Highly recommend. Also, the shrimp Benny was great.”
“Phenomenal. Figured we’d give this spot a try based on the other reviews and we are glad we did. The food is cooked right in front of you. All the vegetables are extremely fresh. The food is great. Atmosphere seemed great. Definitely coming back! Has potential to turn into one of our favorite spots!”
“My family and I have been eating regularly at El Jinete for years. The food is always quick, fresh, and delicious. The servers are always friendly and top notch. The owners are awesome and have created a family like atmosphere. They have a wide variety of items and speciality drinks on their menu. My family has so many favorite foods on their menu, but some of our frequent "go to" items are the "tacos de pollo asado" and "burrito loco" as shown in the pictures served in the restaurant or their "burrito California" in the to-go picture. Their chips and salsa are addictive. The serving sizes are huge, and we normally eat half at one time and save the other half for lunch the next day. While not shown in the pictures, their "chicken soup" is the best we have ever had and is perfect for any time of year. We highly recommend this restaurant for amazing Mexican food and service. We also recommend reserving their beautiful, private room (for a nominal fee) for special events.”
“Absolutely love this place. Best sandwich I have ever had. And it is the same amazing experience every time. Food's great service is great atmosphere is lovely.”
“Well, I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything, however they forgot the sour cream!? I also ordered 3 tacos carne asada meal with extra cilantro and onions, it did not seem like extra to me!? I would have given the meal between a 6 to a solid 6.5 with out the red salsa. With the red salsa a solid 8.5!!! I saved half of the burrito for home where l could add sour cream. Let me tell you, it took it over the top to a solid 9.5 possibly 10!!! The burrito and tacos were not seasoned enough for me... However that red salsa is perfectly blended with salt, peppers, herbs and spices!!! I am a serious Food Connoisseur(Foodie, Lover of Food) who has eaten authentically well prepared scrumptious can't speak until l am done cuisines from at least 50 different cultures and subcultures!!!”
“Got the Steak Supreme Burrito and three tacos (chicken, fish & shrimp). The best authentic Mexican food I had outside of Mexico…. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu. Not only was the food great but also were the owners/workers!!!Parking: Plenty of parking”
“OMG! This place is awesome! The food, decor and service is stellar! A menu with such a variety Please try it all! The fried deviled eggs, and the rip and dip with cajun fries is my favorite! Plus they always post local events and have their own outdoor events as well! If you are passing by the town of Cornelia, GA, please stop by!”
“A local recommended this place to eat. Whenever we're traveling we never tried to eat at chain restaurants. We like to try to experience what the local places have to offer. The food was very good and not overly priced.”
“Great place for a lunch or dinner meal.I have been there several times… trying a different meal every time, since they have a great variety of choices.Every one has been great…Grandkids seem to enjoy the experience as well.If you’re a fan of bull riding you will love it there on the weekends…Usually on the television…”
“Fantastic service, refreshing to have this level of service anywhere today.Had steak fajitas for 2, we couldn't eat all of it, great portion size, fair price fantastic service definitely worth eating at.”
“Unassuming little shop off of Main Street; easy to find with parking up front.Warm greeting upon arrival. Got 8 cupcakes; strawberry stood out above the rest. I look forward to returning to try some of their other selections; including prepared meals: lasagna, chicken poppy seed, etc in the fridge section.”
“For the small town of Homer, GA this is local, well established go to for all locals and Interlopers like us. Family run as the mama hands down the reins to the kiddos. They took the time to make some new friends....us and gave us the feeling that was normal. Food was served hot and fresh made! Patty melt, cheeseburger, onion rings and drinks for two for $20.00....it is not a streamline shiny glitzy spot, it's a warm cozy place to meet new friends, eat some good hot food. Can't wait to stop by for breakfast on our way back through.”
“Brand new to this place, and they didn't disappoint! Loved the staff, food, and entire atmosphere of the place. Will continue to be a regular patron from henceforth.”
“1timer-Steak was seasoned well and cooked medium rare as requested.Would definitely recommend,I've edited my review from 5 star to 1 star.Everytime I call they aren't taking to go orders.”
“First time ordering from here, was a pretty big order and everything was correct and the food is very delicious and affordable. Will be eating here more often. Thanks”
“I got me a breakfast plate the biscuit was absolutely amazing with salted and scrambled eggs. I will say they have the best BLT sandwiches though. These are my go-to's I haven't tried their burgers yet but I heard they're wonderful. Can't wait to try in the ”
“Great little place ! Food was great , no complaints here !! Friendly staff :) . They had this big beautiful dogwood in front .Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kiddos”
“Honestly $10 for half a bowl of soup and 2 tiny pieces of bread is insane... I got a small box of pastries, a pound cake, and two soups for $60. If the soup would have been a little more robust I would have enjoyed it but it very much lacked in substance I understand it's artisenal therefore more expansive but that price is very steep for the amount. It was very good but I don't think it was $60 good.”
“I absolutely LOVED #5 in their curry section. Just sweet and flavorful. My husband and children enjoyed their meals as well. Everything was piping hot and oh so yummy. I wish I lived in Cornelia to eat there more!”
“We just moved to area about a month ago Best food I've had at a restaurant in years! The kids loved it, too, which is saying something. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. We're definitely going to make this a regular spot and go to trivia night!”
“We are lucky enough to live down the road from this little out of the way place and we are grateful that they are nice and clean and have a good selection of American as well as really good Chinese food. They are quick at making it also. They even have their sons working there and they are nice as well.”
