I drove from Chattanooga once a month to attend graduate classes at the local university! I ate here for lunch and it was delicious!! It is hard to find good barbecue in North GA. I had the chicken plate with baked beans and okra!! Their Brunswick stew was also AMAZING!!
For what I paid I cannot be disappointed. Not true smoked BBQ but very affordable. Their coleslaw and sweet tea was the highlight of my meal. You can judge a BBQ place by their baked beans and if they add any extras that make you think...no extras to be found in the baked beans. Would eat here again, would not drag my friends here.
It was okay. BBQ plate was shredded like sawdust and mixed with a glowing orange sauce. I prefer a portion of smoked meat and to add my own sauce. Meal was luke-warm. Not terrible but don't see me returning.
