We had broiled oysters, the Florida duo and lots of the broiled “grouper’s cousin”. The food was very good and the waitress was great! Topped off with the key lime pie too! Enjoy this local gem! Very casual atmosphere so just prepare to relax.
My family and friends eat here a few times a month, we love this place. The food is great and I love the dive vibes, however today (4/27/25) our service was less than mediocre. A couple of Sundays ago we had the same waitress and she was decent, but today she was inattentive and did not have a friendly demeanor. When asking for something, it felt like we were an inconvenience, although we were never even asked if we needed so much as a refill. Unfortunately, our tip left today...
We stopped for lunch while riding SAM Shortline. The server was super nice and considerate of it time. My husband was going to order a past fish. She asked if we were with the train, then told him she didn't think it'd be ready in time. We were thankful that she told us that so we could make better decisions.
The food was very good and all cooked fresh. You can tell that they have a lot of regulars and everyone is very friendly. Well worth the stop!
