Long wait for mediocre food
Over an hour and a half wait for four sandwiches and fries, despite mostly empty restaurant. Fried pickles were way too salty, even after being remade. French dip was also too salty.
I visited Floyd’s Pub a few weeks ago during a girls’ night out, and despite how packed the place was, our experience was fantastic—largely thanks to our server, Ashley. The bar was lively and clearly a popular spot, but the crowd didn’t affect the quality of service one bit.
Ashley was phenomenal from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, managing to stay patient and upbeat even while juggling multiple tables. She made great recommendations, ensured our orders were perfect, and checked in just the right amount—not too much, not too little.
The atmosphere at Floyd’s is upscale yet welcoming, and the cocktails were crafted with care. It’s clear the staff takes pride in delivering a top-notch experience.
All in all, Floyd’s Pub delivered an excellent night out, and Ashley made it even more memorable. Highly recommend stopping by—especially if you’re lucky enough to have her as your server!
Awesome atmosphere for drinks but the food was mediocre and service were a joke.
The good: fried pickles and old fashions (both) were exceptional. 10/10 recommend! Outside area was a cool place to sit. This led us to believe we were in for a great experience.
The bad: subpar main food at best. Fish sandwich and steak sandwich just wasn't it. The dip appetizer was too thick and not warm enough.
The ugly: the service was embarrassing. Multiple people just stared at us before somebody stepped up to seat us at the front entrance. Mixed up sides between myself and another. 10+ minutes for a simple beer. 10+ minutes for a side of ranch (ordered with meal).
Jessica and Randi were amazing. Jessica was very personal and knowledgeable. She made the best drinks and was very helpful with local attractions. I will stop back when in town to have a drink because of her.

Floyd's is a great place for a casual dinner or just for a few drinks with friends. There have been some issues with ownership/management changes in the past, but it seems those are all straightened out. Service has been great. Food and drinks are great. If the weather is comfortable, the patio is fantastic!

Had the best food and best time due to the locals and my favorite beautiful smart bartender, Taylor! I was visiting my Mother's place of birth, Americus GA, for a special occasion and ended up staying at the hotel and smelling all this good food cooking from my room #301. Jimmy Caters Presidential suite!! Surprise surprise!! Shout out to my favorite host Chatty Cathy!! 🤣 She knows who she is! When i tell you we were laughing so hard and it got so loud that they had to make Floyd's close the door so the ghost could sleep! 😅 Great food and the greatest people. I will visit again and again! Get the New York Strip or Ribeye! Sweet Potatoe fries and Toast Bourbon! Thank you all for a great night, I needed that!

Hannah and Taylor were the best, as always! You can always expect to be well taken care of by either of them.

My sister took me out on the town to get drinks since I've never been to a bar. Pretty fun we met some lovely ladies and chatted the whole night and the bartender helping us was phenomenal ❤️

Food is usually very good here. However the other night I ate here was concerning. I ordered a burger and when it came it was undercooked. The burger was completely pink on the inside. Luckily I didn’t get sick from it but that’s something that needs to be paid attention to.

Nice after dinner drink spot. I didn't realize they serve food, or I would have eaten there.

First time in Americus and Floyd’s - what a gem! Do yourself a favor and have the trio appetizers, salmon salad and finish with the peach cobbler Al-a-mode!

I've stayed at the Windsor multiple times over the past few years. Floyd's is absolutely a must even if you don't stay. Good food: try the rock and roll shrimp or pimento cheese fritters. The staff were phenomenal too, say hi to any of them for me. Stop here eat drink be merry, you won't regret your choice.
