⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Still One of My All-Time Favorites, Even After 10+ Years
I’ve been going to Hibachi Express in Americus, Georgia on and off for over 10 years, and even though I live in Atlanta now, it’s still in my top five. That should tell you something!
The food has always been consistently flavorful—whether I’m getting the chicken, steak, or shrimp combo, it’s cooked just right every time. The fried rice hits, the veggies are always sautéed perfectly, and that signature white sauce? Still addictive.
I did notice that the portions are a little smaller than they used to be back in the day, but the quality has never slipped. And honestly, the flavor makes up for it. You can tell they still put care into each plate.
Every time I’m in Americus, Georgia, I make a point to stop by. It’s one of those hometown spots that just never lost its charm, and I’ve yet to find a hibachi spot in Atlanta that gives me that same satisfaction.

I placed an order at the drive thru totaling 16.83. She swiped my card 2 times for 2 different amounts after my card approved the first time. She came to the window stating that my card declined. Long story short they took my money off my card but stated that I didn’t pay for my food so I never received my order! They told me I have to dispute the transaction through my bank. NEVER getting my service again

Compared to the hibachi express in Leesburg, the portions here are nearly half the size. My chicken was so hard and dry. Very stingy with the rice and veggies. This wouldn't be so bad if the total for a full plate and drink wasn't nearly $20. Cashier was nice though.

Love the food. I usually go there twice in one week. Veggie egg rolls are not that good to me. I'm a big fan of the chicken hibachi. The only thing that's aggravating is the outside prices on the board don't match the actual price of the food. Prices outside on display needs to be updated.
I went through the drive thru, which usually i waited about 10-15 minutes before getting my food, but i was served faster this time. And the food was delicious.

I love food it's great I can't ever get enough of it the only thing I could say I haven't been inside for anything because I've always gone through takeout so I can't really say anything about the atmosphere about inside but yeah it's overall hundred out of 100 I've never had any problems foods always amazing the people that work there everyone have been in contact with through the drive-thru is always been great HIBACHI!!! So I might be coming in later on today if y'all are open.!!
