It may have been an off night. My son and I were excited to try it, but we were quickly disappointed. The service was very friendly, but it took 30 minutes to get our appetizers. The appetizer sampler was good, but they could've added one more fritter and five more shrimp for the price. The shrimp was average; crab cakes were moist and had good taste, but a little thin. Dining for breakfast, is the highlight of our week. My husband & I are treated to outstanding, personalible service, by Floyd. We're moving from the area & he & the hotel, will be greatly missed.
Great service and really cool old Hotel restaurant. The staff was knowledgeable, and the chef came out to welcome the table. I had a Ribeye, which was good and cooked to the proper temperature. The side salad was fresh, and the veggies were yummy! We had a table side prepared Bourbon Peach dessert. This is one of the nicest spots in Americus. Elegant and fancy.
