The food here is alright, I've been to several other sonics that have been better, the service is always slow. I don't understand why it should take me waiting for 15 minutes when there is only 4 vehicles in the entire parking lot with a kitchen fully staffed. The drive in menu screens do not work properly, there is no reason anybody should have to yell over and over again to get the server to understand that I want fries. The server that takes your order is always short and rude with customers. There is also no reason that you shouldn't have a sign up saying that the card payment system doesn't work on any of the stalls. They are constantly out of several basic items on the menu. Why is it that every time you order a chili dog, they always put it on bottom so it's smashed by everything else and there no cheese left because it got smashed into the bag yet again. This establishment should be shut down due entirely to the terrible management that it has been under. -10 out of 10. Will not be coming back here at all and will make sure to tell everybody that I know what a terrible establishment and management this location is. Anytime I want sonic I'd rather drive the 45minute to Albany then eat at the one 2.7 miles down the road from my house. The entire kitchen staff needs to be fired and replaced immediately, starting with management.
Edit: I made it home, started eating and the right off the bat I noticed the food tasted different and had a weird taste, but I was hungry so I ate it anyways. I make it half way through the hotdog and immediately started getting sick. Please don't eat here, it apparently is now a health hazard. Never in my life have I gotten food poising from a hotdog. After this visit I think I'm just done with sonic completely.

I wanted the sugar free slush but couldn't remember the flavor. It wasn't on the menu board. The worker at the window checked with her manager and said it is blackberry but its clear . It was so yummy!

This was my third time coming to this location and 2 out of the 3 times I’ve came they never have any food. I only come for small snacks like a pretzel and some mozzarella sticks and both time they never have them and they close early and I always have to use the drive thru just very inconvenient. Won’t come back

I pulled into stall and pressed the order button nobody responded the red light went off. I pressed it again and after a few minutes I moved to another stall and got a response immediately. The server was very nice. The food was just a little better than luke warm and bland. It didn't have enough condiments on it to taste. The tater tots were ok. The most satisfying thing was the milk shake. They always do good with them. Sonic is always take out or to go.
Second time going here and order is wrong and food is not good. Taste old

If I could give a no star I would. Whoever owns this sonic should consider firing every single person that works for them or closing down completely. Came here 8 years ago while hunting and said I'd never return due to the crappy service but the want for a sonic shake was bad so I tried again. Pressed the button waited ten minutes and never got a response. One employ came out and smoked while another stared out the window hoping we'd leave, which we did. This is an embarrassment to sonic and corporate should step in. Yall absolute suck.

we drove up to order and hit the red button. we waited 8 min for someone to take out order and they were sitting down inside. we left. Dont go to SONIC in americus after 8pm..... you will not get served...
