The food was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.

We went to The Spot for the first time tonight and the food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers, bread and salad all came out quickly, and while our dinner plates took a little time, it is because everything is made homemade and prepared to order. It was all authentic and delicious!
The waiters were prompt and kept our drinks filled and were very accommodating. They even stayed open late on Sunday as they close at 5:00, but when I called to make reservations, they said they would stay open late for us, so we could come after a play we saw at The Rylander!
It was a first, but it won’t be our last!

Arrived at The Spot with my family around 3 in the afternoon, note they did open at 11 and if not ready why open up? The service was horrible. Server seemed to be confused. Did not find out they only had one cook 45 minutes into waiting for food. Food was not the greatest and a family member was served raw shrimp. Would never recommend to anybody

The Spot has decided to host a Turning Point USA meeting on Nov 18th. This is an activist non profit KNOWN for their promotion of racist, homophobic, sexist, and outright violent rhetoric! It’s horrifying that anyone would facilitate this in our community, much less a “Latin fusion” place. The food also sucks. Don’t go there!

You have to be kidding me!! I’m so pissed at what just happened! First time at this restaurant if that’s what you wanna call it. Waited about 20 minutes or so for our appetizer and when we got it we cold. Told the owner that I just wanted to pay for our salamander drinks and was met by a lady who argued with me and said the food hot and then got a fork and walked the food around to different table and argued with me then the owner came over and got in my face like he wanted to fight. Do not go here worst experience EVER!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! There is a staffing issue and the owner was so rude. Took over 30 minutes to get out appetizer and it was cold in the middle. The waitress took our food yo other tables asking if it was cold. We tried to pay for what we did get and they couldnt even separate the check and told us to leave.

I suggest that you pick another restaurant if you are hungry or are in a hurry. The food was good but it took what seemed like forever for it to be prepared and served. There is definitely a staffing problem and I hope they can get this worked out soon. Nice but well overpriced! If you are wanting to check out The Spot you will sit till you rot so you best not delay….here today and….

So much potential! My friends and I decided to drive an hour to try this restaurant that seemed so fun and all the food looked delicious online. However, our waitress was awful, rude, no customer service. She insisted that due to it being an “event night” we automatically were going to experience a longer wait time. Mind you, the place was not crowded at all and majority of the tables were only drinking from the bar not ordering food. Our reservation was at 7pm and we walked out of there by 8:50pm and that was with me asking for my food to go ahead and be bagged to go. So I never even ate at the restaurant. I understand the food service industry as I have worked in restaurants for many years, but truly this was unacceptable. No accountability was taken by anyone. Again, so much potential and highly disappointed.

The bartender-waiter was amazing, nice and thanked us for coming in! The brussel pork belly was off the chart so good! Take a look at the pictures below and if you are in Americus GA you MUST check this place out!!

The reason for the 4 stars, the food was excellent, wait staff were friendly but it took 40 min to get our food with only us “2 people” and a party of 6” . Other than that it’s definitely 5 stars.
