If you want a great, yet always simple and straight forward meal, this is your place in Americus. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. I sat at the counter and watched a smooth operation serve up a room full of people who were all smiles. Better than fast food and faster at times! Highly recommend!

Always a Great Experience – This Time, the T-Bone Hit the Spot!

Every time I’m in Americus, I make it a point to stop at this Waffle House—and after years of visits, I can say the service is always fantastic, the people are genuinely kind, and the food consistently hits the mark.

On this trip, I had the medium well T-bone steak, and it was absolutely perfect—seasoned well, cooked just right, and exactly what I needed after a long day. I was so hungry I cleaned the plate before I even thought to snap a photo!

This place does get busy, especially around breakfast hours, so if you're planning a visit, try to come early or during off-peak times. That said, even if you have to wait, it’s worth every minute.

Waffle House in Americus is one of those places that never changes in all the best ways—and that’s why I’ll keep coming back.

Very convenient especially when the hotel next door did not have a ready breakfast setup.

I paid around $16-$17 for a medium-cooked steak dinner, and it was one of the worst meals I’ve had. The steak was so tough I could barely chew it. The meal didn’t include a drink, even though the menu showed a drink and cheese with the hash browns—yet there was no cheese either. The cook just stood there looking confused and didn’t say a word.

I made the mistake of not checking my bag before leaving, and when I tried calling to address the issues, no one even answered the phone. Overall, terrible food and customer service. I won’t be back.

Got there and the waitresses were nowhere to be found. the cook took my order and prepared it .the cook said the waitresses were out side and don't know why they did not come in when customers came in the store.

Service was terrible. Had to ask server multiple times to come back to table to finish taking our order. Still forget parts of our breakfast order. When we paid the server rang it up on his phone not the cash register. Receipt just said food order and a total, specific order was not listed. We were very unhappy with the service. The food was good but will not return any time soon because of poor service and unclean food service area.
