Great "college town" concert venue. Sound was great. Don't get anything but beer, if you are drinking, we had a couple cocktails that were terrible, but they have a fully stocked bar.

Incredible venue, its an integral part of the Athens music scene and hosts local legends and well as local come ups. The venue has cool decor, clean restrooms, awesome and kind staff, reasonably priced drinks, and good AC. Tickets are usually between $10-$20 and the bands are usually awesome. They also have a coat check during cold months. There is no parking attached to the venue, but plenty of street parking.

First time at the 40 Watt Club. I really like small venues. The sound system was great. The bartender was super friendly.
My kid rocked that place out. Had a blast. Enjoyed the bar, decent whiskeys :) nice area too.

The gold standard for community building by a local music venue. They have a phenomenal reputation among musicians and concert goers. It’s one of the glues of the Athens scene all the decades after the “golden age”. I hope the community and the 40 Watt workers can continue to sustain the instrumental position that it fills in Athens, the Southeast, and the planet. Thanks 40 Watt!??
