“My wife and I have been going to this Cava for some time. We noticed the chicken was shredded like ground beef and not like the normal chicken chunks. The server was asked to add a little more because the portion was small and it had very little chicken. BTW, the build your bowls start $12.00. The server was unprofessional and aloof. Thank goodness for Dominique the manager. He stepped in, acknowledged the problem and compensated us. Thanks Dominique. Excellent Job!”

“The setting of an old house is quaint. Not too stuffy but not too casual either. Parking was a little tight. We were sat right away with our reservation. 6:15 on a Monday, not too busy. The main dining room was a little chilly. We figured they were expecting more customers and it would warm up. Tables are metal legs with wooden tops, chairs were ok and everything was acceptably clean. The hostess was nice, we were given water and menus right away. Menus also included the happy hour specials and a list of bottle wine specials.Happy hour gimlet was good and the local lager was too.The charcuterie board was ok. We stretched it to feed 5. The Sun-choke jelly was ugly but de-li-cious!Our server was personable. We asked questions about the menu and various waitstaff members either could or unfortunately could not answer them. Our impression was that there wasn’t much of a ‘team work’ vibe happening.Beet salad okMushroom soup ok but needed a little kick of somethingThey were out of dumplings! We later found out that a large party of economic conference guests were sat in another room and we figured they were given dibs. We were offered extra sourdough bread which worked out as a good alternative for sopping up the juices.The trout okThe schnitzel was given a 9/10 from everyone who ordered it.We weren’t going to order dessert but because of the “no dumplings” and a late entree, we were comped and we ordered one of each.The lemon cake—needs work, tasted floury and heavyThe chocolate offering— too bitter but…the banana ice cream was amazingThe orange pavlova—-10/10! “First time eating here. Went at 8:20am on a Saturday and we were the first customers. Within 30 minutes the place got full. Wife had the Fire Bird and I had the Gravy Train. Both were delicious. Paired it with an Irish Coffee which was also very good. Our son loved the biscuit with blueberry jam. Service was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely be going back.”

“As a former bobarista, bubble cafe is one of my favorites. They have really good snacks and food and a kiosk option to order. The aesthetic and interior is always very pretty with good ambiance. However when I went there entire money/ordering system was down which was a bit inconvenient however the staff handled it very well and had accommodating service.”

“My husband and I came here for dinner. We decided one of us would order 2 sushi rolls and one of us would order the seafood trinity and we’d share it all. We did mention this to our waitress, who was very attentive and polite. The sushi came out first, and it was outstanding! Truly some of the best we’ve had. They split the trinity platter onto two smaller plates, a great idea. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the cooked seafood. The fish was dry. The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp really didn’t have much flavor. The oysters were pretty good. We’ll be back for more sushi, but not the other half of the menu.”

“It's a waffle house, just good waffles and hash browns. Love scatter smothered covered and chunked, friendly helpful staff. Although not too expensive times have changed and it cost us $30 to eat at waffle House when just a few years ago it was barely $20 for what we get.”

“I've been here a few times and anyways had great service and quality. This morning I woke up early and hungry, while most fast food places were closed they were open. While the first delivery I placed was cancelled as they didn't have any food prepared as UberEATS didn't notify me I reordered it and they accepted! Even though in many ways they didn't need to they cooked up a new batch with fantastic quality early in the morning. As a fellow fast food worker I understand how tough those late hours can be so I REALLY appreciate their effort and dedication! Thank you and I will continue being a valued customer!! :)”

“This subway on Prince Ave is good not great. It has a nice outside area to sit if you do not mind some car traffic noise. The food is your typical subway and just comes down to the freshness of the ingredients. The service, usually are very nice and friendly but move at a snails pace even if there is a line. So do not expect to get your sub fast.”

“I normally do not give 5 stars to fast food, but this morning they were on point. Quickly responded to me pulling up in drive thru, prompt courteous payment and as soon as I pulled up to the next window, Bam! There was my food!!! It was the first time in 3 years to be this smooth and quick!”

“This is NOT the first time I’ve been treated so disrespectfully. I continue to return because my kids love McDonald’s and it’s the closest one. There is a lady that is always extremely rude to me and my family. Right now she has long blue and black braids. I’ve had a conversation with another employee there and she told me she’s like that with a lot of customers as well as her coworkers. Today my significant other had to go retrieve our order from her because she was screaming our table number instead of bringing it to us. I go to the playground area as soon as we arrive and order from there (I have a 8 year old and 4 year old). He had to go back to get our cups and ketchup and ranch and he said she looked him dead in his eyes 3 times and never said a word to him but another man that came up after him was helped. He had to stand in the cashier line just to get our cups and condiments. Someone really needs to talk to this employee and tell her to act right or find another job. It’s ridiculous!!”

“Every time I order curbside I either a don't get the right items or don't get my order at all and they will mark it as complete in the app. I placed 2 orders literally 1 minute apart and I got my first order but never got my 2nd which literally contained a frappe and I even waited over an hour. But the order was completed in the app so I didn't get refunded for it. That's the 2nd time this has happened.”

Definitely the best pizza in Athens, and though this is a pizza joint, the burger is arguably also the best in Athens. Service in the restaurant was mediocre, but I've had good luck with to go and delivery.”

We grabbed food to go so it's a bit of a moot point.In fact, the lighting in the restaurant is one of the factors to catch my eye. The portions were good sized- the bowl filled me up- and the ingredients were well balanced.While the menu appears limited, there is plenty of variety. The staff were very friendly and willing to help me navigate the ingredients of my shake with patience and kindness and no trace of irritation. They also treated my son very well in his effort to have the ideal Dude Perfect smoothie experience. “It still as good as it's ever been. Tacos generally run between 2:50 or 350 each. I'll pastor is still the best meat on the menu. I love everything about this place, I only wish they sold meat by the pound to go.When you think "gas station taqueria" the bar is already pretty low, but Juaritos gets all the stars for excelling in its tight space with a short menu of excellent options. On my last visit I tried the al pastor, chicken, buche (stomach), and lengua (tongue) tacos. All were good, but the al pastor especially so. Additional food items are available on the weekends. There is also a topping bar of fresh onion, cilantro, two kinds of pickled onion, and three sauces. We got ten tacos for about $18. I would hesitate to bring very small kids here, and seating is tight anyway, but we managed with our litter of three and everyone was happy. I will definitely be back.”

“We had a large group of 12 people. Heaven was our waitress and she was AMAZING! She stayed on top of it the whole time with refills and replacing chips. The food was quick to come out and delicious. “My wife and I have been going to this Cava for some time. We noticed the chicken was shredded like ground beef and not like the normal chicken chunks. The server was asked to add a little more because the portion was small and it had very little chicken. BTW, the build your bowls start $12.00. The server was unprofessional and aloof. Didn't care for the "Coyote Ugle" line dancing next to our table,distracting and unnecessary. Most of the time,most looked like they didn't care to do it. The steak was cooked to perfection but lacked seasoning. The green beans were oily and flavor strange. The broccoli was way undercooked. I will opt for a different location and will return to the Gainsville location.”

“C Barrel is the American Restaurant. Everyone had problems during the pandemic, but they pushed through. They're back to one hundred percent. My wife and I had a delightful lunch on Sunday and we talked about what a great institution The Barrel has become. The restaurant dining room is quiet, the music is subdued making it easy to have a conversation. And there aren't any TVs in the dining room ! “I came here yesterday for my wife's Birthday. She's a sucker for the dragon fruit Mojito. We sat on the patio and it was so nice. Will took excellent care of us and made sure she got her birthday desert right on cue. Both of us got the All American Bowl, which tastes even better than described on the menu. “The food was delicious. Kinda like a Steak and Shake. The only complaint I have is that we waited in the drive thru for about 25 to 30 minutes waiting to order. It was roped off so I couldn't get out of line. But they finally sent someone out to take orders. But when we finally got our food it was hot and delicious. No complaints on the food and kindness of employees. Give this place a try but go inside to order.”
