“Best quality food. Full of flavor and inexpensive which is rare these days. Check out the express menu! Will post a pic. My favorite breakfast place in athens so far! The sausage gravy is made with chicken and it’s the best I’ve had and not greasy! Don’t miss this place of you visiting!Parking: Not many but dirt lot to the right and asphalt behind but requires about 100 steps to get there. There’s one handicap spot and a few regular spots right next to it.Wheelchair accessibility: In the single handicap spot.“
“One of the best iced matcha lattes I've ever had. Inside is very aesthetic and a lot of students come to study. Not sure if there is a lot of parking available but I am definitely interested in coming back again. The employees were really polite and knowledgeable.“
“There's a reason why this place wins BEST FRIES every year. Legit gastro pub with a well-crafted tap list (Exceptional Anderson Valley beers on my visit). Great bar area with little booths to feel like you are with the gang or on your own.“
“Peach velvet cake with the peach filling and buttercream icing! This was for my daughter's 1st birthday and it was absolutely perfect!!! The cake was the best I've ever tasted and everyone else agreed! DELICIOUS! Also, it looked identical to the picture I gave them! So impressed! So glad I found these guys! They are very nice and totally delivered on every level! I will definitely be going back to them for all of my cake needs in the future! TY Deborah's Specialty Cakes❣️“
“My third time here and I’m never disappointed!! Cozy, warm atmosphere both inside or outside. Here on a rainy Friday at 5:30, having a coffee and a delicious gluten-free almond apricot tart in a candle-lit booth while I do some work on my computer.“
“Starting off, the food was very good. I had a breakfast burrito with added sausage and it was killer. The portions were also pretty large which was good. We also had the pumpkin muffin which was also very good. The service was good as well, we had to wait a little bit because she was on the phone but other than that she was very nice and even help us change an order we needed. The overall interior was very cute, a converted house to the restaurant. Had a great experience, only downside was the price. For two people we spent about 40 dollars, which is honestly fine for what we got.“
“What a fabulous find! One of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. The brunch menu was amazing- we had a party of 8 but ordered 12 meals so we could all try different things because everything sounded so good and everything was excellent.Wheelchair accessibility: Father has mobility issues and uses a walker - tables were well spaced for easy access. Handicap parking could not be any closer and entry way grade level.“
“I am getting ready to order my 5th birthday cake from Bee's Knees and decided to go on-line to look at what others have ordered to get ideas. I noticed that on Yelp they had less than a five star review and decided to investigate. I was surprised at what I found....2 didn't like their phone etiquette, 1 received a sample from next door "okay, one man from CT gave 1 star because they didn't serve coffee and one said something about the taste of the cake being a little dry but loved the icing! Seriously, this is why you give a 1 or 2 star review to a small business!?! First, they are really busy at lunch with their sandwiches, bakery items, preparing for catering and baking cakes and cupcakes!!! I find them to be direct and to the point when they answer the phone but not rude. It's lunch and this isn't Publix or Kroger, it is a small, independent business. Give them a little understanding. Be happy they answer the phone in these times! I'm glad to have a human and not please select a number or leave a message. To the man that gave one star for not having coffee....seriously!? Well go to Starbucks, enjoy their service and whatever you can find worth eating. Does that really qualify a one star review??? All I am saying is think before you leave one star. Give some grace....at least sometimes. Oh and one woman raved about the cupcakes but didn't like ONE of their flavors (she gave 2 stars)!!!! My experience has been wonderful. My husband absolutely LOVES their cakes as does everyone we have celebrated with. They are most accommodating in helping with a budget, short time in creating a masterpiece, helping decide on decorations, size and flavors. I'm always overjoyed with my cakes. I am going to post a picture of the last cake I ordered. It was perfect and tasted delicious!“
“The food is really good! Lots of options. You definitely never have to eat the same thing twice. The food is hot and fresh.Service is good. The menu can seem a little overwhelming at your first visit. Just ask, they will be happy to explain. They also have menus at the register. The atmosphere is okay. Limited indoor seating and it's kind of a cafeteria feel. They do have outdoor seating if the weather is nice.Vegetarian options: 95% of the menu is vegan! They have some meats and she said the Mac n cheese was not vegan.“
“Service: The entire staff was dope. Accommodated our party of 8 people and we were seated within 15 mins upon arrival - with no reservation The team was also attentive and provided friendly service - including updates on food and drinks ordered. Food: Everything was really good. The Lamb Krahi was soo good. The Garlic Naan was even better. Food was fresh and tasty. We ordered at a spice level 1 ( goes up to 5 ) So beware if you think you can handle the heat. Ambiance: Restaurant was clean and well staffed. Parking is free. Good location in Athens. Decent size restaurant. Lighting is low so it's an intimate setting- we had a great time. Overall:“
“I've been eating at Pulaski Heights for nearly a decade and it's easily my favorite restaurant in Athens. The staff is incredibly kind, caring, and hardworking. The historic Leathers Building is nestled in on the most "Athens" neighbors. Menu-wise, there are no misses. I've eaten everything on the menu and it's all spectacular. If it's your first time, try some of the pecans, deviled eggs, smoked cauliflower, and pulled pork. Don't sleep on the kool-aid, either. End your meal with some of their banana pudding. Each of Chuck's BBQ sauce brings something different but I'm a steadfast supporter of the vinegar based sauce. My favorite memory is the one time I saw cake on the specials menu. I still dream of that cake. Chuck and his team have built an institution on the tracks in Pulaski that has become the fabric of our community. As more and more chain BBQ restaurants open up, we as Athenians need to support great local businesses like Pulaski Heights.“
“I visited DePalma's for a work dinner, and the experience did not disappoint. Service was on point, especially for a slightly large party. At 5 p.m., the restaurant wasn't busy, and we were seated immediately. Our meals came out in a timely fashion. I had the lasagna, which was delicious. My only wish was for a larger portion size. I'd definitely return.“
“If in Athens.....don't miss the best breakfast around. So good we came back the next day. Unfortunately someone said to try another place (I will not name) that was supposed to have great biscuits and grits......nope, Flying Biscuits were the best by far. So friendly also.“
