“I served the chicken pot pie to my Canasta Card playing friends. It was excellent! The only negative was not allowing it to cool for 5 minutes before serving. After it set, it cut nicely.“

“This place is clean and sweets are nicely in display but ambiance is not particularly appealing. The staff is very friendly. I stopped for coffee and sweets. The eclair dough was dry but the filling was good. The almond canolli was not good but the cappuccino edge was wonderful.“

“My sister recommended going here for breakfast. They are from Wisconsin to boot. I found out they have 28 locations, Sadly none in VA, but maybe one day. What she failed to tell me was the AMAZINGLY HUGE Gluten free menu they have. I ordered the GF Cinnamon roll breakfast. Attached is what I received. It smelled terrific. It tasted even better. It felt so nice being able to not needing to make a compromise to have GF options. I WILL be going back again before my time in town is up.
The staff were quick and efficient, like a well oiled machine. Friendly and answered any questions I had regarding my son's all nut allergy. I understand why they were so crowded on Saturday brunch.

“Kenya at California Pizza Kitchen gave us such a great experience today. She was attentive, professional, and incredibly detail-oriented from start to finish. My order can be a little specific, and she made sure everything was correct, double-checking with the kitchen and making sure all the sauces and details were right.

The food quality was excellent, and my salad was honestly one of the prettiest and freshest I’ve had in a long time. What really stood out to me is that this level of service seems consistent with her. She remembers returning guests, remembers past concerns, asks about family, and genuinely makes people feel taken care of. You can tell she truly cares about doing a great job, and it absolutely shows. Five-star service all around.“

“The only reason for the four stars is the service was a little weird. We ordered our drinks when we first sat down and it wasn't until we were almost done with our meal that I was informed the machine that they used to make the machiato was broken down, so I ordered a mocktail and it didn't arrive until we were finishing up. Three separate people came over checking on us at separate times instead of a single server, and one who seemed managerial who came over to our table more than once, as well as at the very end, without being asked for or called. It wasn't a bad experience by any means. It was just an odd one. We'll definitely be going back. Their Branzino is to die for.“
