“I served the chicken pot pie to my Canasta Card playing friends. It was excellent! The only negative was not allowing it to cool for 5 minutes before serving. After it set, it cut nicely.“

“This place is clean and sweets are nicely in display but ambiance is not particularly appealing. The staff is very friendly. I stopped for coffee and sweets. The eclair dough was dry but the filling was good. The almond canolli was not good but the cappuccino edge was wonderful.“

“My sister recommended going here for breakfast. They are from Wisconsin to boot. I found out they have 28 locations, Sadly none in VA, but maybe one day. What she failed to tell me was the AMAZINGLY HUGE Gluten free menu they have. I ordered the GF Cinnamon roll breakfast. Attached is what I received. It smelled terrific. It tasted even better. It felt so nice being able to not needing to make a compromise to have GF options. I WILL be going back again before my time in town is up.
The staff were quick and efficient, like a well oiled machine. Friendly and answered any questions I had regarding my son's all nut allergy. I understand why they were so crowded on Saturday brunch.

“Ponko alway has the best chicken. The spicy is my favorite and I love the salads. You can also get chicken wings, tacos, tofu and they also have vegan sandwiches and hot dogs. “I love this Mellow Mushroom location! I stop by for lunch at least once a month, and it never disappoints.

The food is always fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous, and I have yet to have a bad meal here. The new menu items are great too. The updated Caesar salad is absolutely AMAZING and has quickly become one of my favorite lunch options.

What really keeps me coming back is the people. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. The restaurant is consistently clean, and the overall atmosphere makes it a great place to take a break and enjoy a meal.

A special shoutout to Cesar, the owner. He is always kind, personable, and makes an effort to connect with us. You can tell he truly cares about creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door.

My order can be a little specific, and she made sure everything was correct, double-checking with the kitchen and making sure all the sauces and details were right.

The food quality was excellent, and my salad was honestly one of the prettiest and freshest I’ve had in a long time. What really stood out to me is that this level of service seems consistent with her. She remembers returning guests, remembers past concerns, asks about family, and genuinely makes people feel taken care of.
