“I wish I had a pic of the mussels but we dug in before I had a chance. Perfectly cooked in a delicious sauce with just enough kick. My husband declared the duck the “best I’ve ever had”. My mushroom pasta was al dente with a cream sauce that was rich but not too heavy. Our son’s tagliatelle was delicious. Ending the meal with homemade tiramisu cutely adorned with the name of the restaurant. Pics do not do it justice because they have a romantic dimly lit vibe. Highly recommend reservations. When I called to adjust mine due to flight delay they were kindly accommodating. Nice outdoor patio and bar.“

“In February of 2025, Dawg Gone Good BBQ catered a wedding that I coordinated at the UGA Botanical Gardens. The food was AMAZING!! The owner and staff were friendly, professional, and a joy to work with! I’d give 20 stars if I could!! On another note…they have a restaurant in downtown Athens near my husband’s office so it’s very close!! I can go there and get their food often!!“

“Highly recommended! I was looking for a savory pie shop that made miniature pies for my daughter's 1st birthday party. I reached out to Chantelle(sp?), the owner and was treated with the best customer service experience I could have asked for. She was very personable, her staff was personable and the food was excellent. I would not hesitate to reach out to her again regarding an event or just to treat myself. Check her products out at Queen's Pantry also.“

“Great restaurant! My wife & I weren’t sure where to go. I Googled “Best Restaurants in Athens, Ga”. Frankly, I had to scholl through 3-4 pages and Ossetian Athena finally came up … we’ll worth the wait! My wife & I had a great over appetizer, Mushroom Bruschetta, Caesar Salads & Salmone Al Pistacchio including an Italian Blend … simply outstanding! On top of all this, Drew, the owner, was a GREAT HOST! I highly recommend this restaurant!“

The steaks were just okay on this visit. We had ribeyes. They were thin and a little fatty (mine was at least). I recalled them being seasoned or marinated a bit so the taste was off for me. They were cooked to order though (medium rare). The ribs my party ordered were good.

“Placed a To Go order because my husband was working across the street and had smelled it for hours after I hyped it up. He was all for the order and we live almost 2 hours away. I haven’t been to this Rafferty’s in 10+ years. My husband has never had it. I got the regular burger and my husband had the bbq burger and we also ordered fried mushrooms. Flavor is unmatched, quality was top tier and the way everything was packaged looked as if it took time, not just thrown together quickly. Even after an almost 2 hour drive, it was all still perfect! It reminded me of when I was younger and my grandparents took me to this same location often and I always got the burger. The staff then knew my grandparents by name and if I remember correctly, always remembered their orders. The burgers are the best we’ve ever had, hopefully another chance arises for more Rafferty’s in our future. Thank you for always being delicious and consistent.“

“The tomahawk steak was very impressive & definitely plenty of food for 2 people. I liked that it came with a variety of oil & butters that you can pair with your steak. We also got a free dessert since it was my birthday and i always love a good lava cake.

The ambience in the restaurant is kinda dark and they are definitely trying to resemble a fancy steakhouse vibes. I wasn’t too impressed and thought it was kinda grim looking. Doesn’t reflect on their food at all & I still really enjoyed my meal!!“

We started with the appetizer sampler, also had the Tom Kha, Tropical Fried Rice with shrimp, pad Thai with pork, pad see-ewe with chicken and a second pad see-ewe shrimp. Washed it down with Thai iced tea and Thai coffee. Everything was fantastic! We will definitely be going back.“

“Second time I’ve been to this location & still love the food. I like the variety of tacos I can get (in a combo too!!) and their fries are delicious and unique. I love the fusion between asian & mexican and my family who got other menu items all loved their food too.

Only downside is the Athens downtown parking :(“

I read the menu link on trip advisor when choosing the restaurant and it was very misleading. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience! Would go again!“
