“We had never been here but my wife received a gift card so we decided to go for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We made reservations and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We had money left on our card so we returned a week later and it was just as good as the first time. We highly recommended it.“

“I attended their Crawfish Festival today. From the day I bought my ticket to spending the day with them today Chris and his staff did an excellent job. I felt like family amongst them. “Decided to drop into Athens for the day and I'm super happy we checked these guys out. The beer selection was diverse and everything we got was very good. The space is really nice and everyone in there was having a great time. The staff was really friendly and helpful and we were able to do a tasting of the liquor products as well. Really solid brewery.“

“In February of 2025, Dawg Gone Good BBQ catered a wedding that I coordinated at the UGA Botanical Gardens. The food was AMAZING!! The owner and staff were friendly, professional, and a joy to work with! I’d give 20 stars if I could!! On another note…they have a restaurant in downtown Athens near my husband’s office so it’s very close!! I can go there and get their food often!!“

“We went here on a Friday night. WE messed up the date of the reservation but they worked us right in very kindly with no fuss. We ordered an antipasti board and ended up getting a second one. It was excellent. We also had the escargot which was excellent. My favorite dish was the Creste Di Gallo Ai Funghi. Outstanding. Our waitress recommended a Grasso Barbera which was perfect for the mushrooms/sauce -- so good we got a second :).

“Placed a To Go order because my husband was working across the street and had smelled it for hours after I hyped it up. He was all for the order and we live almost 2 hours away. I haven’t been to this Rafferty’s in 10+ years. My husband has never had it. I got the regular burger and my husband had the bbq burger and we also ordered fried mushrooms. Flavor is unmatched, quality was top tier and the way everything was packaged looked as if it took time, not just thrown together quickly. Even after an almost 2 hour drive, it was all still perfect! It reminded me of when I was younger and my grandparents took me to this same location often and I always got the burger. The staff then knew my grandparents by name and if I remember correctly, always remembered their orders. The burgers are the best we’ve ever had, hopefully another chance arises for more Rafferty’s in our future. Thank you for always being delicious and consistent.“

We started with the appetizer sampler, also had the Tom Kha, Tropical Fried Rice with shrimp, pad Thai with pork, pad see-ewe with chicken and a second pad see-ewe shrimp. “Great restaurant! My wife & I weren’t sure where to go. I Googled “Best Restaurants in Athens, Ga”. Frankly, I had to scholl through 3-4 pages and Ossetian Athena finally came up … we’ll worth the wait! My wife & I had a great over appetizer, Mushroom Bruschetta, Caesar Salads & Salmone Al Pistacchio including an Italian Blend … simply outstanding! On top of all this, Drew, the owner, was a GREAT HOST! I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Top notch food. Because my law office is right down the street also on Prince Avenue I go here maybe a little too often (if that is even possible). You can trust their blue plate to be top notch and unique. The standards that stay on the menu are great too. Have not been disappointed once. Visitors to Athens, make this a lunch or dinner stop for sure.“
