“This was truthfully some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. I had the ponko chicken with rice both spicy. The rice was seasoned fantastically and the chicken was super juicy and tender. The spicy sauce left a great flavor in my mouth without overpowering any of the other flavors. I will definitely find myself eating here again.“

“Love this place and both locations ( east and west side ). It’s in my opinion, Athen’s best hibachi place to get delivery or take out from. Their sauces, sushi and hibachi are all fresher and higher quality and for the same price as others in the area. It’s also a much cleaner environment and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it to anyone in Athens who likes sushi and/or hibachi. It’s also kid friendly, so if you want sushi and you have a kid that doesn’t, they have more simple things for them. You can’t go wrong.Parking: There’s plenty of parking as both locations are in shopping centers, so you will have no issue with getting a parking spot unless it’s a busy weekend night. You will get one, it just may be a bit further to walk. Still free though.Kid-friendliness: If you have a picky eater, they have a kids menu and high chairs I believe.“
“I can’t say enough great things about Sakura! I’ve ordered takeout, delivery and dined in numerous times. The service is always quick and the food is consistently delicious. I’ve tried many different types of their sushi as well as their hibachi dishes. You can’t go wrong with any of the “rolls of the month”. They also usually have coupons in local magazines for $5-$10 dollars off or other great discounts if you dine in on holidays!“
“I enjoyed everything about this visit, as usual. Got teriyaki chicken without veggies and it was delicious!! I was stuffed before I could even finish my plate! I promptly received my food after I put my order in, which is great when you're starving. (obviously I'm exaggerating!) 10/10 recommend!!“
“I’m a HUGE sushi lover and this place did not disappoint. The sushi was delicious and super affordable! We ordered the eel crunch roll and the gatorhater which were both super filling and incredible!There were tons of other options on the menu and i’ll definitely be back to try some of the other chef special rolls they have!“
