“This is a good place to have a quiet late lunch/early dinner. The server and the chef were really nice. And getting your food won’t take long. The taste is very good. Especially the fried calamari, and its sauce.Since I am allergic to cucumber, I asked if I could exchange the cucumber for cream cheese or something else, but they wanted to charge extra for the other topping.Would go back to try the fried rice.“
“Sushi was really good and reasonable priced, tastes very fresh. Great and kind service!! Very homey and relaxing atmosphere. Food did take a minute to come but it was well worth the wait. This place definitely focuses on quality not quantity, and they deliver that quality very well. All in all 5/5“
“This place is excellent. All of the seafood is super fresh and excellent quality. They have a good variety of food including great Japanese and Korean items for anyone who isn’t feeling sushi. The ambiance is very nice. Chill background music. Well decorated. Plates came out looking very artistic and delicious looking. The restaurant had a zen vibe. The shrimp tempura and clam chowder were a hit with the kids. The bacon scallops were really good. They were on the rarer side but super sweet and delicious. The sashimi was really fresh and tastes great. The korean galbi was good. The staff were also great and very kind. I would highly recommend this place.“
“A Japanese couple operates the restaurant. Have very limited capacity and your order might take a while to cook, but it's always great experience!Because there is limited seating and the chef does not have unlimited energy, you should call before you enter the store to make reservations. If you are new to the restaurant, I strongly recommend you to order their bento box special (A, B, C).“
“First time at Saka-E.I ordered 3 special rolls (Trust Me, Caterpillar, Rainbow) and some Sashimi. There was nothing wrong with Sashimi. They were fresh and cleanly cut, and the presentation was well executed. However, the rolls were quite lacking, and this was a big deal for me since I’m more of a rolls guy than a Sashimi guy.1. Rolls were small and had stingy amounts of ingredients on the inside, resulting in the majority of its composition being made up of rice.2. Rolls were pretty much flavorless and no amount of soy sauce could fix it. Probably the result of the rolls having so much rice and very little of the other ingredients.3. Caterpillar roll didn’t come topped with eel sauce and they included tiny bits of eel on the inside. On the contrary, they included huge chunks of cream cheese so that’s literally all i could taste; yuck!If in the future I am looking for sashimi, then maybe, just maybe, I would return. However, I don’t see myself going back to Saka-E for their bland rolls.PS - Their salad dressing and miso soup were on point and delicious.“
“Kiosk self order system , since they don’t have a large menu so it’s pretty easy to place my order. Prices are very reasonable as well.Foods were good and didn’t taste like overly addictive foods that some other places offered. I’m obsessed with their side dishes—- Kim chi was sooooooo good. Unfortunately they don’t sell it separately, you will have to order extra along with your entree I surely will order more next time.We will be back again.“
“Classic Japanese menu, all the best hits, and also a great selection of things you may not can get everywhere like bento boxes and sushi dinners. Overall satisfied with our anniversary dinner. The server checked on us more than I would have expected, which was great because my fiance is a "gulper" of tea hahaVegetarian options: I noticed several veggie options in most categories though that isn't what I orderedDietary restrictions: Fiance is gluten-intolerant and they had plenty of options“
“Chung Dam restaurant stands out as one of the premier dining spots in Atlanta's Korean town. It's my go-to choice for hosting non-Korean business partners and colleagues due to its consistent excellence since its establishment. Today, we had lunch here after attending a funeral mass at church. The lunch spread was incredibly generous, offering a diverse range of dishes including Korean traditional pancake (전), Kalbi, grilled fish (가자미구이), and 오징어볶음, accompanied by Soju. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience marked by a pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. Personally, I found the overall taste slightly saltier than my preference, but I acknowledge that taste preferences vary. Nonetheless, the pancake and Kalbi stood out to me as particularly outstanding in flavor.“
“So you're sitting there right now reading this review, and you're thinking to yourself, "Which would I rather pursue right now: great sex, or the most delicious spicy hot pot in the history of humankind?" The answer is clear: go for the Humble House Spicy Hot Pot. Unlike every other Chinese restaurant ever, Humble House actually puts an authentic level of "Ma La"* spices in this sexy beast. Try not to get arrested making too many loud moaning sounds while savoring it (trust me -- I'm still out on bail). Suggestions: 1. Fold over a paper napkin on the table and then wet it with about a teaspoon of water. Place your Hot Pot on top of this so it doesn't slide and spin with every bite you take. 2. Get a spoon so you can every now and then scoop up some of those delicious bits of onion and potato coated with hot chili oil at the bottom of the Hot Pot. 3. Don't add a thing to this dish! Try a little of everything just as the chef gives it to you and you'll see that the chef knows exactly what he's doing and you don't have to add anything. 4. TIP THEM! Go up after you finish this treasure, thank them for a delicious meal, and drop a couple bucks into the tip jar. The decisions they make to elevate quality are not cheap. Quality ingredients and a truly competent chef are what set Humble House above all the rest, and they cost money. We all help subsidize these expensive decisions with tips. Anyway, I guess that's enough kvelling for now. Bon Appétit! * "Ma La" is the Szechuan classic flavor profile known in English as "Hot and Numbing."“
“Great vibes and prompt service. Even the out of the ordinary specialty rolls were really tasty. We tried the XXX and Birthday roll. We must have been doing something right cause they brought us a couple of fried Oreos on the house. We will be going back.“
“We love ponko chicken so it was exciting to see a Duluth location open up. The chicken is always good. We like to get the plate and ask for half BBQ and half original. I love the texture and seasoning on their fries. However, their rice has been a miss on all our visits. It's been soggy and it looks like they switched to crushed rice so it doesn't have the same chewy texture as before. I don't know if this is chain dependent but we will be skipping the rice next time. My favs are of the chicken plate with 2 sides and the salad with their ranch sauce. Portions are a great size for the 5 chicken plate, and I always eat my leftovers later. The service is nice, but the workers are still learning the ropes whenever we go.“
“First time here last week, absolutely loved it! Good pricing for unlimited hotpot & K-bbq. I think it was $20-$25 for adults and $13-$15 for kids 7-10. Kids under 3 are free! We had a great server, I wish I could remember his name. It was our first time here and he explained everything throughly. Super easy, order most meats for hotpot on the Ipad and drinks. They also had a buffet bar for the Korean BBQ. They had lots of options for meat, shrimp, noodles, and toppings for hotpot including quail eggs. All of the food was super good! They also had a helpful diagram that showed how long to cook the meats depending on size and thickness. Overall great service and good, will definitely be back!“
“Well priced meal and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We’ve been in search of a Thai place and this may be it. My 7 year old loved her “katsu” kids boat meal- she’s very picky and so we were nervous about taking her to a Thai place, but one look at that boat that her food came in pretty much sold her. It’s such a relief when we can find a restaurant we are all happy with, SriThai really nailed it for us.I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband ordered Pad Prik with chicken which came with white rice. Both were fantastic and my husband said when we go back that he is going to order it again, he loved it that much. We also ordered soft shell crab- good but not necessarily memorable and some salmon nigiri which I thought was very good.We finished dinner with the coconut mango rice which was phenomenal. Generous with the coconut milk and fresh mango and I’m still dreaming about it post dinner. So yum. Very fair prices IMO. We will definitely be back.“
“5 star!! Despite the high-priced menus, it is worth every penny. Two of us ordered 2-person sushi and sashimi deluxe. We got plenty of side dishes including fried shrimp, grilled salmon and many other things to enjoy. Servers are super nice. You get a quiet separate room for the meal course. You will not be disappointed.“
“Do you ever find yourself wondering what you're in the mood to eat? It's hot pot. It's always hot pot. Go get some spicy broth and a huge plate of veggies and cook your meat in the soup. Nice and spicy, great prices, so much food ?“
“Beautifully decorated hibachi spot! The experience was great from beginning to end. The restaurant has a nice ambiance to it, not too much bright light (which I love), so it felt welcoming and relaxing. We got hibachi combination with ribeye, shrimp and salmon. The portions were large and filling. The California rolls were very tasty. The hibachi dinners come with soup, salad, main course and dessert of sherbet or ice cream. It was a fun experience, our chef was nice and interactive- fun for the kiddos as well! Our server was very attentive and kind. The drinks were good (I had what is the equivalent to a Long Island and a Mojito), would recommend.“
“The guy that served me was so sweet! The food was really good and he gave me a serving of some soup liquid they had and it was SO good and felt so warm and soothing when I drank it. Excellent for the price as well I got a huge bowl for only 14$!“
“this was the best ramen spot ive ever had but unfortunately they are permanently closed even though they appear to be open on google maps, been going here atleast once a week for the last 3 years and i went there today and there was nothing inside.“
“I frequent this location and finally decided to try out their food. I ordered:1. Mountain Roll2. Spider Roll3. Rainbow Roll4. Fish Salad BowlMy order came with some side dishes. I'm not sure if the side dishes are a part of the rolls or the Fish Salad Bowl but it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. I also received two bowls of miso soup, which were delicious. All of their rolls were at least decent but my favorite was the Mountain Roll, which I found to be delicious. The Rainbow Roll was well made as well, but this is more of a classic that every restaurant carries. Another classic, which is the Spider Roll, was my least favorite of the three. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it came soaked in eel sauce. I didn't find their eel sauce to be that tasty and being drenched in it didn't help. The fish salad bowl was pretty good. It came with cuts of cheap fish such as salmon and tilapia... but it being a $20 dish made it understandable.Overall, good experience for the price you pay. Seemed like a very reasonably priced restaurant and quality of the food was good.PS - I didn't take pictures of the rolls because I dumped my to-go boxes upside down so the rolls were a mess.“
“My rating definitely has more so to do with the staff and service. They were good people and made the experience there enjoyable. My husband loved his sashimi. We didn't try the hibachi but based on the volume of people that were there on Saturday night, we might need to try that.“
