“The udon noodle soup stood out for how clean the broth tasted.. Everything seemed very fresh. the shrimp and veggies had nice texture and flavor. They don't skimp on the shrimp which I appreciate! The spicy bluefin tuna rolls were apparently good as well. The gyoza was slightly better than the sushi however, although marginally. We also had the edamame. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Calvin ensured our group had the most amazing experience. From cocktails, to Sake, to the food… omg the food. Freshest sushi I’ve ever had in the city. The flavors were balanced and yet explosive. Literally everything was incredible. Make sure you try the lychee martini! If sake is what you’re craving, order a bottle of the Big Hawk. It pairs perfectly with everything on their menu.“

“It's good amount of food. You get a paper and you order what you like. I have a lot of big respect for local restaurant and small business because it's not easy out there. For our experience, service was nice. Sushi and hibachi rice, wings were okay. They need more seasoning. The hibachi meat need to be cook better; Sushi needs to have more flavor. Just work on it and may your business last long.“

If you’ve never tried it, you really should. The miso soup is very good and the post meal Japanese melon is a surprising finish to a great meal. Looking forward to trying out the dinner menu. It’s run by a wife and husband and their daily hours are limited which allows for the food to be 10/10 also really recommended placing a reservation prior to going or else you might be turned away as they have only a limited amount of tables to also help the experience and be tended to in the best way. The sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delightful not in anyways fishy! We also had the beef skewer and that was also phenomenal! They knew we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and brought out extra treats for us and made this experience 100 times better, if that’s even possible! I had eaten at the old place (Korean chicken) and I was interested in the express hibachi for dinner tonight. From the time I walked in until I left with my food was under 10 minutes. Everything appeared to be cooked fresh and they used all white meat chicken. The egg rolls were fine as was the rice and vegetables - but overall the taste wasn’t as rich as I’d hoped.“
