“This place is a great small business, I believe it's ran by husband and wife. In terms of service they are so kind and accommodating. I ordered online and didn't realize they had a lunch special, so I ordered something that would be considered the lunch special w/o the soup and salad + rate. When I went to pick up the kinda lady informed me to order the lunch special and even offered to get me a soup and salad.

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Umi! Four of us went and we decided to everything so that we could try multiple food items. We started wtih the Shrimp tempura and the Spicy tuna/crispy rice and they were both delicious. We moved on the avocado wasabi salads, wagyu beef appetizer, and several rolls topped off with the sea bass. Everything we tasted was outstanding - my two faves were the avocado salad and the wagyu beef! Our waitstaff were fun and attentive - we had a great time all the way around! The food? Incredible. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and cooked right on the spot. You could see how much pride they put into what they do, from the quality of the ingredients to how beautifully everything was prepared. People are still talking about how good it was!

The team was amazing too. Professional, organized, and super fun. They handled such a big crowd with no problem at all and made sure everyone was taken care of. And the chefs didn’t just cook they put on a whole show. It turned dinner into an experience, which made our event even more special.

We have used Okinawa Austell 3 times now, and everytime, without fail, they have given us delicious perfection! And their lunch prices are extremely affordable, even for us! We average 30 to 35 orders each time! Everything is always packaged so we can identify each order easily, and there have been ZERO mistakes or complaints. Zero complaints! Chase is always spectacular with his customer service and attention to detail. I wish i could remember the names of the other people whom ive interacted with. They were just as pleasant and helpful. I cant say enough about how much we love Okinawa Austell! Their Dallas Hwy location is also a gem. My sister and I used to go there at least once a month. It was our favorite sushi spot! It appears that Okinawa provides excellence no matter which location you go to! I would give more stars if I could!“

Yami Yami is a favorite of mine located inside of The Hub. The food is Americanized Asian food. It’s my go to when I’m craving a quickly prepared Asian meal. Everything is already prepared, even handmade sushi. If the already prepared sushi rolls aren’t what you’re in the mood for, they will make you sushi on the spot. There is always a great meal special and this even includes sushi. Please visit for yourself and give them a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.“
