“This little hole in the wall has the best fried rice in town hands down! Wows is one of those places that all the construction workers like to go. To me that’s how I know it’s gonna be a good spot lol. You get a pretty large amount too for your money. The chicken wings are super flavorful as well, and they smell great! I will say they are small which I don’t mind at all but keep that in mind. The owners are sweet people, they are husband and wife. The wife is hilarious and so accommodating! They know what they are doing! I always order to-go here and call ahead. 10/10“
“I had an online order to pick up on my way home from a late night working. When I arrived I realized my boyfriend ordered from the wrong location. I was going to leave since it was almost close and they made my food for me anyway and just transferred the order from the other location. They were all so sweet and helpful! Plus the sushi is always so good.“
“We came for the lunch AYCE and the quality was pretty good for the price. They were also very quick with preparing our sushi. My only complaint is that the nigiri comes with alot of rice, seems like they try to fill you up on rice unfortunately. The service was pretty good, everyone was very attentive.“
“I was sick for the past few days. I felt like I could keep down some miso soup. I ordered 2 portions with fried rice. The moment it touched my lips It soothed something in me that’s been wrong for a while. The next day I felt all better! I also was able to add extra tofu free of charge. Both delicious and healthy will be back again“
“We’ve only ever dined in, and the teppanyaki experience is great. You can delight in knowing that if you’re looking for a “hibachi” place, this is it. No need to look further, just go. It’s worth it.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free soy sauce available.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu.“
“After a few visits to Katana, I have to say that the service and food quality has been consistently wonderful. The sushi is fresh and beautifully prepared & presented. The cooked items are cooked to order and have been delicious. The waitstaff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is comfortable & nicely decorated. We look forward to each of our return visits.“
“Best sushi anywhere North of Atlanta in my opinion.Fresh and high quality ingredients. Consistency and great service every time! You cannot go wrong with this place.Gift cards from here for all of your sushi snobs friends, coworkers and family. Also they have thebest green tea ? in my opinion.“
“The food is fantastic! It is absolutely wonderful and delicious in every way. It's actually probably some of the best sushi I've had in a really long time. They have some rolls with all fresh ingredients that are very well constructed, but i also noticed that they're quite generous because in every piece there was a generous amount of ingredients in there. While it's not an overly large role, you can notice the little things such as the roles that had fish on top flowed around and down the sides rather than just a small piece on top. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The only maybe slight detractor is the price. They probably do price where most restaurants should and the price is good for the quality that you get, but it is a bit more expensive than any of the other sushi restaurants in the near vicinity. That'll probably keep me from returning often, but overall the food is so good, I will certainly be returning.“
“Very pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. We started with Calamari which is fresh and crisp. The portion isn't large overall but the slices are large. We had the Belly roll and the Mika roll. Both were very good but the Mika roll stood out as it was unique and crisp. I prefer raw sushi but this roll is great. We also tried their hand rolls which is something I haven't had anywhere else. Spicy tuna and smoked salmon were both very good. The prices are about on par with other sushi restaurants. Regular rolls start at $14 and go up to $20. Definitely can't eat here as an individual for under $20. Calimari app. 2 rolls. 3 hand rolls. Japanese soda. Large sipporo. Desert. All of that was around $95.Overall I'd definitely go back as they had some unique options and the quality was outstanding. The ambiance is quite good as well.Kid-friendliness: This is a chill restaurant so if your kids are well behaved, take them. If not, no one wants to listen to your bratty kids while enjoying quality food. ; )“
“We have been coming here for years! This place is a family favorite. The food is amazing it looks amazing, and the waiter is so nice ? she let us change our order when my mom said the wrong thing. The wait is always worth it!? Make sure that you call for a reservation because it is popular! ?“
“WAYNE our chef was wonderful, engaging & funny. He was great at giving us a special experience. It was my moms 83rd birthday & she had never had Hibachi & now she’s hooked… she said it was one of the best birthdays special… they even sang her a special song beyond the birthday one.. It brightened her spirits & made all of our day!! Thank you!!!“
“The filet mignon and chicken hibachi was great. The sushi rolls we ordered tasted very fishy and not so great. Probably won’t ever order sushi there again. One person also ordered the salmon with hibachi, and that didn’t taste fresh either. But will definitely go back and stick with filet mignon and chicken. The show wasn’t as great as Benihana, but the restaurant looked much cleaner and fresh than Benihana.“
“Wow I was impressed,The flavors were fantastic and fresh. It exceeded my expectations. The new owners have jumped up the quality of he food exponentially. The sushi was generous and fresh. So glad we gave this place a second look instead of trekking to Towne lake. The atmosphere is traditional but I dig itDo not overlook this spot!“
“Kumo has consistently been my favorite restaurant in all of Cobb County. The food is next to none along with their phenomenal service. Their food is always fresh and exploding with flavor whether you get hibachi or sushi. Even throughout the pandemic they have always had reasonable prices and generous portions. This is MUST have food if you're in the area.“
“UPDATE: came back and tried the Volcano Sushi and it was pretty good (see added photo)Our daughter's friends said the food was average but we decided to try it anyway and disagree as my Mongolian Beef w/Steamed Rice (W10 on the menu) was very good and my wife's Tofu Teriyaki (G1 on the menu) w/Steamed Rice was so good that we bought one to go for our vegetarian daughter .. we got the combo for an additional $4 that included 2 Spring Rolls (fried) and a bottled drink .. food was freshly made and service was friendly resulted in a 4-star review and very positive dining experience .. good quick meal option if you are in Kennesaw“
“We spontaneously decided to try this place late at night and were very pleased with the service, ambience, and food of this restaurant. There's a ton of option for Japanese & Chinese food. They have a large variety of sushi options. We also got dumplings and ramen. They're open until late at night. They have live Jazz on Friday nights. I Highly recommend trying them out! We will be coming back for more!!“
“Not only is Sakura the best sushi in town - it's the best sushi I've ever had. I've been eating at Sakura for 15+ years. It always satisfies. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I no longer live in East Cobb, but Sakura is always my first stop when I'm in town visiting. It is very reasonably priced for the quality. Favorite rolls: Dynamite, Twister, Hurricane, Princess Fiona, and a simple tuna maki. Sakura never disappoints“
“Came here for all you can eat sushi and was not disappointed! There are plenty of options on the all you can eat menu, including appetizers. The food came out quickly and was delicious! The price was very reasonable for the amount of sushi I ate, and I intend to come back here again!“
“Too many choices. Tried a little of several different things. Went back and got more of what I liked best, and some new things. Next up was sushi. Now too full for anything else. Wife said the cookies were great. I really liked the egg drop soup, and Mongolian beef. Also loved the sushi.“
“Have only had take out here. Really enjoyed everything we have ordered. Great quality. They also have special deals on certain days. The person taking orders over the phone could be friendlier but the food is at least ready quickly and the order is perfect. The meat is always nice and tender in the hibachi entrees, and the sushi rolls are fresh tasting with a good amount of fish included. I also appreciate that the lunch specials come with a good amount of soup.“
“I was so thrilled with the hibachi chef that I completely didn't think to take any pictures. Food is amazing the people are super friendly it's just a really great place to eat.Kid-friendliness: Always see kids thereWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“The food is always excellent! And so is the service. I’ve been coming here over 15 years! My first time back during pandemic. Was great to see some of the familiar faces and be welcomed back with the greatest service ever! So excited for Kevin and Shu! And always a treat to see Oscar!“
“This a great sushi/ habchi place with a authentic feel. The sushi is always fresh, and reasonble. Make sure to check out the chef specials. The fresh shucked scallops are to die for.The habchi section is fun, again great selection and reasonable prices.. If you go once you will be back“
“Went here for a birthday hibachi dinner. The hibachi chef was very fun and interactive with the whole group and led a happy birthday song with a lemon “cake” and candle! The restaurant now has a cool robot that delivers takeout meals to the host and it sang happy birthday to me too :) I got the chicken pad thai and the sauce was very flavorful and delicious. I also got crab rangoon for the first time and they were quite tasty. I appreciated the free refills, plates they offered for my cake, and kind waiters. The food didn’t take too long however, the hibachi chef took a bit of time to get to our table. This may have been due to our big 8-person group, so it is understandable. One thing is the location of the restaurant isn’t the best. Overall it is a nice restaurant for hibachi and I would go again for another occasion.“
“Best fried rice ever! Me and my fiancé don’t live close to this restaurant but still go out of our way for it. Great sushi selection and the customer service has always been great to us!Parking: It’s located in a strip mall so plenty of parking!“
“This is a nice little ramen shop. They happily subbed the pork gyoza for veggie gyoza for me. Very yummy broth.Vegetarian options: They made a substitution for me to avoid meat in the ramen. I'm sure the broth still had meat bases so it's not really vegan friendly, but you can request meatless options.“
“Came in with a friend on a Saturday afternoon (Feb 24, 2024) around 1pm. We were seated immediately and a waiter came to our table quickly. We went ahead and ordered after discussing the menu with the server. We got the sashimi lunch A, which is basically a chefs daily special and also ordered a couple sides of tuna and California rolls. The sashimi was excellent as were the rolls. We also had the hot green tea.The place is very clean and our server (taller Asian gentleman) was very energetic and extremely polite and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the experience.Parking and location was good, area is extremely busy on Saturdays at this time of day, and the restaurant was busy but service was fast and efficient. Prices were good. Highly recommend.“
