It's a solid restaurant and bar, and I've known quite a few bartenders and servers there during the last five or so years. What really keeps it on my list, though, is Leigha behind the bar. Leigha makes a great Old Fashioned, but it's more than just the drinks. Leigha has a way of making the bar feel comfortable and familiar, like catching up with a neighbor rather than just ordering another round. The conversation is always easy, never forced, and it's one of the main reasons my friends and I choose Salt when we're deciding where to go downtown. We usually check to see if she's working before making plans. That says a lot. Downtown Woodstock has plenty of good spots, but Leigha is a big reason Salt continues to stand out for us.”

“We have never been disappointed by Marco’s Pizza, on Eagle Drive, in Woodstock, Georgia! Today, though, exceeded my expectations! I made an online order, to have delivered, at 1:10 this afternoon. It wasn’t like them to be late, then I got a call from Door Dash, informing me that the order was going to be canceled. I called Marco’s, and found out that our order was stolen by the Door Dash driver! Marco’s only uses Door Dash, if they don’t have a Marco’s driver at the time. Marco’s was willing to take a loss, re-make our order, and deliver it to us, with their amazing Marco’s delivery driver! I said to the driver that I heard our original order was stolen, and he said, “yeah, along with the tip.” That broke my heart, so I immediately grabbed the cash I had, in order to give him a tip, but he deserved so much more! He said that I didn’t need to do that, but there was no way I could let a Door Dash thief get away with a tip, and him get nothing. I am forever grateful to Marco’s Pizza, in Towne Lake!”

She notified us when she was on her way and setup everything so quickly and efficiently. She was so nice and helpful with getting it all laid out perfectly and so sweet to deal with. “Update. Picked up 3 lunch orders today. Chicken breast sandwich was perfectly cooked and huge. Not a Sloppy Joe Sandwich was delicious and a pork and pulled chicken plate was very good. The deserts won today. The Chocolate Cake was amazing and delicious. Then there was the Cherry Cobbler. WOW! That had to be the best cobbler I have ever eaten. Bits of sugary dough almost like candy and delicious dark cherries. I would order it again any time. Both deserts were larger than expected. The servings accurately reflected the pictures. We don't usually order desert but today's was outstanding!

Today I ordered the Burnt Ends Pork Belly. It was delicious. Well cooked on the outside and tender on the inside. The glaze was a nice addition. Green beans and corn pudding were outstanding. One other diner enjoyed the pulled pork and turkey combo with the above sides.

Ordered online today. Ready for pickup on time. The pork was delicious with the right amount of smoke. It was tender and juicy with some great blackened skin. Corn pudding is very good along with the potato salad and hush puppies. I will be back.”

Ordered the Honey Lavender Latte plus the Chicken Chorizo Burrito and they were both solid. Pricing is on par with other coffee shops in the area so you are definitely getting some nice bang for buck for the quality of the food/coffee versus other coffee shops.

Service was also really fast and professional and the location is pretty convenient where it's easy to turn off from the 92 highway to make a quick run here if you're in a hurry.”

One of the employees, Kirsten, has made the added effort to learn our names and recognize us with a broad smile when she sees us and kind friendly words of hospitality and welcome,seeing to it that we leave with a hometown feeling that our business is appreciated. “Just stopped in at Golden House to pick up some carryout and I have definitely discovered my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Woodstock area. I have been looking all over for a house special fried rice(called Mandarin fried rice on the menu), reminiscent of the restaurants I used to eat from in the 80s and 90s. I could find nothing that even compared. Trip to Buford Highway for some really good Chinese food but that’s not practical on a regular basis. Someone online suggested this restaurant and I am sold! The gentleman that took our order also prepared our order and took our payment. He was very nice and the food was delicious! I thought the prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely back.”

“Ordered takeout and the food I got was very good. I asked for extra spicy and they actually made it spicy unlike other places that don't even after asking. I'm picky with chinese food and this place has amazing value price and food quality wise. The soups are amazing. Both the hot and sour and wonton soup are absolutely delicious. Lunch special has a very good portion size. Def coming back. Got the Kung pao/sweet and sour chicken. Both were very good. The lady at the counter is very nice as well. I liked ordering and getting my food fairly quickly.”

I always get something different but today I got a steak burrito and it may have been the most well crafted burrito I have ever had at any restaurant in my entire life. Portions were perfect, ingredients great as always. But the skill it was crafted with was next level, perfert shape and perfectly sealed. This thing stayed together through the last bite and it truly was...an amazing burrito. We got there right when they unlocked doors and the gentlemen working were already working on what seemed to be a massive catering order, they completed our orders for us 4 in no time and so kindly...and with perfect craftsmanship. Just had to share with the world”

“Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. “Today, I took my kids to Chick-fil-A Towne Lake to pick up a quick lunch, while we were out running errands. We ordered through the app, for curbside pickup. Our order was delivered quickly & the staff member who brought it to us was friendly, as they always are. When we got home & opened the bag, I realized that there were 2 chicken sandwiches in there, instead of the 2 nuggets that I ordered. My order has never been wrong from this location (or any other CFA) & that’s a miracle b/c we hit this place up at least twice a week on average! 😂🐷🤷🏻‍♀️ Understanding that mistakes happen, although CFA rarely makes a mistake, I called to see if I could come back & exchange the 2 sandwiches for nuggets (my kids won’t eat the Lord’s chicken sandwiches 🤦🏻‍♀️). Scott, the operator of this location, answered & told me that he would bring the nuggets to my house! Shocked, I told him that I really didn’t mind coming back, but he insisted & arrived at my front door 5min later with a huge smile & a bag of nuggets for my kids, along with a little extra treat 🍪 for them.
