Outstanding mixologist and very attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed deviled eggs with our cocktails. A favorite. The redfish special and ciopino special were delectable. We enjoyed a bottle of the Benton Lane Pinot Noir with our seafood. A perfect pairing! With the tasty bread pudding, mascarpone cheesecake, and tres leches cake, we enjoyed cappuccino and coffee. First time at Labella's Pizzeria we were met with the aroma I expect from Pizzeria's that know how to cook Italian. Labella's Pizzeria is reminiscent of a classic Queens, NY space ... though you can eat-in, it is small and limited. We ate there to smell the aroma's and ask owner, Stefano, questions about its history and where he gets his ingredients ... which we learned is mostly imported from NYC. Lastly, we ordered a Meatball Sub to take home: OMG! Hands Down ... the best Meatball Sub you will ever have, as long as you enjoy serious homemade recipes! Tell them Lance & Anne sent you! Ciao.”

OMG, what can I say, for those of you who love nachos but are annoyed by the tediousness of eating them with ingredients that are not equally dispersed on a bed of chips. Please try this. The corn tortilla is so crisp it makes a lovely sound as you tear it. The steak seared to a perfect medium, as I requested. Wowwie!!!!”

The hostess told us about the nominal cover charge and that they have table service for drinks. We sat down with a couple my wife knew and waited for a server. 15 minutes in and no server in sight? My wife goes to the bar to order and was told to wait for a server. OK, 10 minutes later here she comes. Takes our simple order and again we wait, and wait. 10 minutes later we are served. I don’t understand what would take so long. Every other venue at the square is very attentive. I would have spent $75-$100 on drinks but never got the chance. I’ll go back one more time but if it’s the same experience, never again.”

When we arrived weather was good but they were not seating outside. Disappointed not to have outside seating. Nice buffet but the cake was previously frozen and apple pie not homemade. The lemon petite tart was not made with fresh lemon. Probably frozen previously too. The ice cream bar had only vanilla and cool whip topping. The strawberry and chocolate syrups were flavored. For the price charged a couple of real signature desserts would have been great. The macaroni was great. The salmon, chicken and beef were good. The ham was not a a good choice and was not at a carving station as described when I asked about the buffet. Fruit was good. Since this is the first since Covid 19 I’ll give for credit for a nice presentation.

And most importantly they have fresh baked bread and cakes, our famous salads “vinegret” and “shuba”, variety of “pirojki”, borsch and solyanka, golubcy, and more and more and more. I bought everything to try and didn’t regret a bit! Even though I make my own borsch and golubcy I liked theirs too. Shuba was amazing! Mushroom salad was something new and different, good a spread on bread or with boiled egg. Nice eggplant salad with their fresh bake bread - it was delicious! Napoleon was exactly how I make it at home. It was a good choice to get it there. Besides all of listed above they have a great selection of tea, salami, cheeses, candy and other sweets. Even though the store is kind of far away from me I’ll definitely will be back to spoil myself with those tasty things.”

There are just 2 things that stop me from giving a 5 star overall. First, I made an appointment for myself and our 2 granddaughters just for basic manicures. (5 and 7 years old). On the phone I asked for Priya to do my own nails - and 2 additional techs to work on my grands. However, only Priya worked on all 3 of us. So with just one at a time, the other 2 of us sat and waited for our turn. Bottom line, this nail salon obviously does not cater to children. I understand that they do not make as much money for a child's nail application, but most salons in the area make children feel welcome and are given excellent service. The other point which may not be important to most people is about their salon chairs. They are clean and very comfortable, but they do not have the full option of a chair massage with back rollers - instead just vibration.”
