Burger King in Marietta

“After dealing with especially bad traffic I stopped by entirely because I was out of options and it was convenient. I was happy to find a easily to access parking lot, clean restrooms, quick and attentive staff, and fresh hot food. (One of the better fast food burgers I've enjoyed this year.) My only complaint is that many of the tables were a mess, but this was just after the lunch rush.“

“Ok, I don’t post reviews often, but I felt like I needed to let everyone know about this BK in general.

I was running on some fumes, hadn’t eaten all day, and had another stop to make visiting clients. I saw the King, not my brightest choice, nor my go-to, but a small order of processed chicken nuggets would allow me to power through the next few hours.

This isn’t a review about the quality of the food, they’re crappy frozen nuggets, but this is a review about the young lady at the drive-thru window.

She politely took my payment and with a big smile on her face, and then playfully asked if I’d like a crown. I replied no, but it was almost a yes. Her reply was beautiful and heartfelt, and damn if it didn’t brighten my whole damn day. Enough to where I pulled up Google Maps and made sure that I found the right BK to write about.

She looked me in the eyes, a complete stranger, and said “Well crown or no crown you can have it your way, because you sir are a king. Don’t you forget that”.

I’m not sure who that young lady was, but in today’s world things like that mean more than people realize. I’m no king, I’m barely a peasant, but that queen made me feel amazing, even if the chicken nuggets were mid, at best. Next time this Kentucky boy is in the area, you best believe I’m coming for some mediocre nuggets.“

“I visited with my husband and my sister. My husband and I were traveling from Mississippi back to our home in the Fort Stewart, GA area. So, my husband and I decided to make a brief stop and visit with my sister who lives in Austell. She suggested that we meet at this BK location in Marietta, so we did. I was highly pleased with how welcoming, friendly, professional, etc. the staff was. Even the manager (Mr. Jason) came out to our seats and personally greeted and welcomed us. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious; and the restaurant was extremely clean. Other patrons were present and appeared to be relaxed, at ease, and enjoying their visit. I will definitely be visiting this location again, if I'm again in the area.“

“We stopped by for a late lunch with my nephew. We wanted to go inside to eat, but a sign on the door let us know that they were short staffed and the dining room was closed, drive thru only. I get it but it would have been nice to be able to eat inside. Food was good and drove thru service was fast and and our order was correct.“

“Love their burgers, but not sure what is going on with all Burger King establishments. Their soft drinks taste like carbonated water no matter what flavor I choose. If you eat at ANY Burger King don't order soda. Better off with other beverages or bring your own.“
