“Stopped at Marietta Diner for dinner while passing through.

The menu is honestly a journey all by itself. Traditional diner food? Yep. Italian? Yep. Greek? Yep. Mexican? ALSO YEP.

I went Greek - Chicken Slouvaki with a salad, while my hubby went straight for the chicken parm and pasta. And obviously we couldn’t leave without dessert. 😋

The portions were huge, everything was delicious, and the whole place has that classic neon diner vibe that makes it even more fun.

I only wish this place wasn’t five hours from home because we would absolutely be regulars. This is officially a worth-the-stop spot on any road trip through the area.“

“Loved this cute restaurant in Merchant’s Walk. My friend and I picked this because it was halfway between our homes, and we loved it! Perfect girl food lunch, but there were definitely options for heartier appetites. Food was delicious and our server was super accommodating and knowledgeable and offered us lots of options. Will definitely come back!“

You may notice I have 2 stars on atmosphere thats because of all of the possibilities of people who may be there. I will not fault them for life being the way it is but let is service as a heads up. There’s no sound barrier. I speak Spanish but I wasn’t particularly interested in the conversation they were having. 2. Everything I had was just slightly over salted, not to the point of distasteful or inedible but you can always add salt, you can’t take it away 3. My bowl was incredibly oily. I sent it back to be drained and it was still oily and I drained it again ! After I ate there were still 2 tablespoons of Oil at the bottom of my dish. I will be back because I need your special menu. I will specifically ask for no oil and sauce on the side so I can control the salt and fat. 4. You are not on “happy cow” or any other vegan websites I use. WHY???? I look for healthy , vegan friendly places everywhere I go. I used google search and I found you but you didn’t make it super easy for vegan people to get your name“

“Our first time here and it was so good. Service was excellent from start to finish. Had burger and fries and they were perfect. Had pork belly for appetizers the taste was so good. Can’t wait to go back and try the shrimp pasta.“

When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. They look at you crazy if you ask for hot food and clean utensils. Well at The Bowl all is well! The service is top notch from placing your order to the moment you leave. I got the build your own salad with the warm chicken. The food was very good with fresh ingredients, a lot to choose from but to me , i feel it was a bit over priced. “I wanted to leave a five-star review after a really kind experience I had here recently. I came in to pick up my pizza like usual and decided to grab one of their cookies while I was there. When I went to the front cash register to pay for it, I realized I only had tap-to-pay with me and didn’t have my wallet.

The woman working the front register asked if tap was all I had, and when I told her yes, she simply gave me the cookie for free. It may seem like a small gesture, but it genuinely stood out to me. That was a $4 cookie she absolutely didn’t have to give me, and she chose to do something kind anyway.

I really wish I had gotten her name because she deserves to be recognized for the way she treated me. The pizza is always great, but customer service like this is what really makes a place memorable. I truly appreciated the kindness, and it definitely made my day.“

He is always so kind and welcoming. He takes care of us and makes sure all of our needs are met. We both get the fire grill chicken dish with mushroom cream sauce and it never lets us down. We highly recommend stopping by here if you’re looking for a delicious and nutritious meal!“

“The grounds of the restaurant has a grand feel. The patio area has an inviting botanical theme. The outside hostess was cordial upon our reservation arrival and departure. Our drinks were good and sweet, not watered down. My food was brought out quickly by a handsome guy. I've eaten in New Orleans before and the interior and the waitstaff attire was reminded me of it. Our waitress Truselle asked if it was our first time there, which it was. She was very friendly and helpful. She was thanked and tipped for her hospitality (left a note on the bill).
