“Had a great experience at Cafe Social House near South Fulton! The customer service was immaculate from the moment we walked in, and the food came out within a reasonable time frame. I also appreciated how diverse the menu was, offering options for different appetites and preferences.

I really enjoyed the salmon croquette selection with scrambled eggs and grits, and my son loved the kids’ chocolate chip pancake meal. Everything was flavorful and well prepared.

The only downside for me was the 18% gratuity/service charge that’s mentioned before ordering on the menu. Other than that, we had a really pleasant dining experience overall.“

“Oh my goodness, this bake shop is absolutely incredible. The flavour, texture and freshness are simply unmatched. I recently received a diagnosis that means I can’t indulge myself or cheat the doctors or the scales. However, I told myself that I’ll likely spend the rest of my life regretting my unhealthy choices til now. I’m reduced to tears as a result.

That said, A friend suggested this place as a healthier alternative to my cravings. What a treat! I wanted to meet the owner but she was busy catering a wedding. “Went here for their gluten free pizza. The gluten free (detroit style) was pricey. They charge extra for gluten free crust (typical) but its a smaller pizza and thats before you add toppings. Its a very good gluten free crust though, definitely recommend trying it if you are on the hunt for such a thing. Regular pizza is very good too. Drinks were ok.“

When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. The hostess was very kind to the only server working at that time & asked us to wait for 10-15 minutes, to allow her to catch up and supper staff to arrive. “I’ve been eating at La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for years, and it has always been one of my favorite places for Mexican food. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and everything always tastes fresh.

This location stays busy, so there can be a little bit of a wait at times, but that’s usually a sign of how popular it is. The wait is absolutely worth it. The staff does a great job, the atmosphere is lively, and I’ve never left disappointed.

If you’re looking for great Mexican food in the Marietta area, La Parrilla is definitely a place I’d recommend. I’ve been a customer for years and plan to keep coming back.
