“Went here for their gluten free pizza. The gluten free (detroit style) was pricey. They charge extra for gluten free crust (typical) but its a smaller pizza and thats before you add toppings. Its a very good gluten free crust though, definitely recommend trying it if you are on the hunt for such a thing. Regular pizza is very good too. Drinks were ok.“

“The Marietta Diner has earned its reputation, and after our visit it’s easy to see why.

We decided to try the homemade Southern fried chicken, and it was the right choice. The 4-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes was generous enough for two of us to share comfortably. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the house hot honey sauce.

Don’t skip the matzo ball soup. It was flavorful, comforting, and one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh bread was another pleasant surprise—it rivals what many restaurants are known for and arrived warm with a soft interior.

The menu is enormous, so whether you’re craving breakfast, comfort food, seafood, steaks, sandwiches, or one of the incredible desserts on display, there’s something for everyone.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, even with the restaurant staying busy.

If you’re visiting Marietta or just looking for a classic diner experience with huge portions and an extensive menu, this is absolutely worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of that menu.“

When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. The hostess was very kind to the only server working at that time & asked us to wait for 10-15 minutes, to allow her to catch up and supper staff to arrive. After a short wait that was no issue at all, our server, Daijah came to the table & proceeded to give amazing attention to my wife & I for the next hour. She offered excellent food suggestions which we partially used. My wife's lobster spaghetti and my choice of dessert, their butter cake. We began with the tomato bruschetta & it was perfect. My wife ordered a bottle of wine with the meal, handled perfectly by Daijah. Angelo came by & checked on the meal and service during the entrees. All of which were incredible. I had the wagyu stuffed shells, in spicy red sauce, which was phenomenal! Our desserts of butter cake & creme brulee, were also superb. Kris came by at the end & we were happy to congratulate him on a perfect meal & experience. We will definitely be back soon!!!!“
