25 Best Vegan Restaurants in Dunwoody

“So let me start by saying I frequented this location, like probably 3-4 times a month during my lunch break.

I always went to the bar, so much so they began recognizing me. I convinced my coworker to come and he joined me a number of times.

Fabiola (apologies if I misspelled your name darling) is by far one of the best bartender/servers I've had in my entire 32 years of living. She not only remembers that I'm vegan and grabs the vegan menu as soon as I walk up she greets me with such joy and warmth that the one day I didn't see her my heart broke a little. Gerald (I think his name is) is also such a sweet soul, he came onboard not too long ago and also began greeting me with the same warmth as Fabiola.

Fabiola makes a mean (and when I say mean I mean DELICIOUS) sangria. I mean those sangrias need to be renamed Fabiolas they are so good.

The tomato flatbreads to die for, brussel sprouts snatch a wig, the avocado toast beats California avocado toast (trust me I lived out there for 3 years), and again those sangrias no one will ever beat a Fabiola sangria, I'd bet $1,000 on it haha. On my latest visit I tried the corn flatbread and it was also delicious. Mind you these are all being made vegan style, so I can only imagine the flavor depth if you get them as they're on the menu/non-vegan style.

Unfornately, my office is moving to the other side of the perimeter so my frequent bi-weekly visits will likely become sporadic weekend pop-ins, but my gosh the Seasons 52 in Dunwoody (especially the bar) is definitely top 3 in my favorite restaurants.“

“My first time at Lazy Dog was a treat!! The staff was very friendly and Frank especially was so great to my party & I, making sure we were okay & had everything we needed! Truly was a great experience thanks to Frank and we appreciate the professionalism & kindness! Will be back!“

“As vegans this place was amazing! We ordered the bhindi masala (okra) and aloo gobi (potato cauliflower) dishes and plain naan. The food was brought promptly and was delicious! The side of mixed pickles was outstanding. Definitely recommend.“

“Every time I’m in a new area, I refuse to eat big chain restaurants, and I’m so happy I have that rule because this place is phenomenal! I don’t know what kind of vinaigrette they have but even the salads are out of this world and the lamb sandwich is a must get for your first token experience!! The food came out as fast as the service AND it was still hot by the time I got back to the apartment! Both gentlemen there were super kind and on point, the one taking my order gave me a good laugh too! Five stars is genuinely not enough 100/10 🙌 also the to tzatziki sauce is clearly in-house made be sure to get one“

“We typically get takeout from Budi’s Sushi a couple of times per month. The food is always so fresh and tasty. We are lucky that it’s walking distance so we’ll walk over with the dogs and one of us will sit outside with them while the other orders, and they always give us water for the Dogs. Everything from their soups, and appetizers to the rolls are worth trying. We typically wind up with enough left over to have a snack the next day too!“

I came to the Grecian Dunwoody one day to pick up an order for my husband and was in a joking move that day. So, I said to Andy (worker) after placing my order. "I do not have any $$ to pay for it. Do you know this "outstanding young man" had sympathy for me and pulled out his personal credit card and offer to pay for my order. Ahhhh. I could have cried. WHO DOES THIS? Andy does this! I wish, I wish we had more workers like Andy in these fast-food places, not to pay for the customer's order, but just an overall, great young fellow, humble, caring and I hope when I go back that he still there, just to say thanks for being a GREAT Person & Worker at Grecian Gyro Dunwoody. “For a local, casual, family restaurant Nai Thai nailed it. From the minute we walked it until the minute we walked out it was lovely. Staff was adorable and the food was terrific. We had the pork/shrimp dumplings, the egg rolls, pad Thai and drunken noodles and it was all excellent. Cocktails were generous and tasty. Can’t wait to go again. 🍎“

“We went to Farm Burger yesterday and grabbed some shakes from Morelli’s while we were there. It was our first time trying Morelli’s. I tried the strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream and all three were excellent. It was the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. I usually hate chocolate ice cream because it never tastes like actual chocolate but this one does. It’s creamy, rich, chocolatey. After tasting the ice cream we decided to get milk shakes. I did vanilla and strawberry and my husband did a chocolate milkshake. They were so delicious, 10/10 highly recommend. Aside from the ice cream and milk shakes being amazing, the customer service we received was outstanding. I didn’t get her name but it was a blonde lady, she was very helpful and so friendly. The place was clean and organized, we are definitely coming back in the future!“

“Less than a mile from home, I hit up this venue just for the Steak & Cheese Sandwich.
It could be the best Steak & Cheese Sandwich in Dunwoody & Sandy Springs.
I typically sit at the bar, order a crisp cold Lager on Draft. The barmaid with the Chinese Sleeves is always so nice & friendly to chat too.
It's a great lunch time stop for me.“

“Our family came in around 8:40 knowing we were probably close to closing time but they so graciously let us order and didn’t make us feel bad about it at all! The service was outstanding and food was some of the best Asian food we’ve had! Boba tea was a hit with our kids also! I was really impressed and have already recommended to others!!“
