“This place is amazing. We came here after Snooze told us that it would be a 50 minute wait to enjoy their brunch. I said nope and went across the street and best decision ever. The portions are TEXAS BIG. I am not even joking. It is a good deal. And they have a bottomless mimosas. Gigi, our server, was attentive and constantly at the right place at the right time. I would come back for the service and then the food. It is amazing.

“Solo date night vibes at Mikata ✨ Spoiling myself with a little bit of everything tonight: started with a glass of Trivento Malbec, then dove into a Baked Salmon Roll and Snow crab Roll (both Marla’s picks – she did not disappoint!). The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. For the main, I went big with a Shrimp, Lobster, and Chicken Rice Hibachi – packed with all the smoky, savory goodness you could dream of.

To top it off, Marla brought me hot water with lemon and honey to make my own tea. The teapot? Adorably perfect. This is what I call a quality night of self-care!

“From the moment the hostess smiled as she cheerfully greeted me at the door to the knowledgeable and personable presence of my server Brittany...I knew I was going to have a delightful experience.

The crab cake was perfectly crusted, most and fully.
The Cesar was crisp and fresh with an adequate amount of dressing and generous shavings of fresh Parmesan.
The filet was tender to perfection in the most delicious red wine reduction and topped with flavorful grilled mushrooms satisfying all my senses and leaving nothing to be desired except for dessert... Of which I did also indulge.
The key lime pie was precisely portions not to overload your tummy but add the final touch of sweetness to your dining experience.

“All you can eat was never this great! Went with my daughter for a $20 lunch that was so worth! Sushi rolls and Japanese appetizers are ordered with a waiter and delivered by a robot. Other dishes, cold and hot, are available at the buffet. Desserts and teas are also included.
Loved the rolls which do not have too much rice! Quality was there. The place is cozy and clean. Their caterpillar roll yum! Tempura was made very well. Peel and eat big shrimp and mussels.
At night, for $39 you have unlimited crab legs and sushi. Gotta go back soon!!!”

“The is yet another hidden gem in the new chic foodie scene of Dunwoody. The sky views of the cities corporate offices makes you feel like you are in Manhattan at an upscale grown and sexy club. The drinks were really colorful and tasty and the staff was super pleasant and accommodating. It’s walking distance to anyone in the Perimeter area and we will definitely be back during the fall weather to enjoy some drinks on their balcony with an amazing view of America’s tallest suburban twin towers, the King and Queen buildings.”

“Joey D's combines an ups scale dining experience with a down to earth casual feel. The food was outstanding, My wife and I both got steaks and they were done to perfection. The salads were fresh and potatoes were cooked with the skins being the ideal crispness.
Our server Amancho was extremely attentive and helpful. He kept our glasses full, poured the wine and packed the leftovers for us. In general this place was ideal for a nice dinner with a loved one or as a place to go with a group. Loved it”

“I am grateful to have snagged a free dinner at Superica Dunwoody, and the quality of food was excellent. Portions were also plentiful. Unfortunately, there was a booking mixup - although I had an email confirmation, they didn’t have my booking on file, but luckily quickly seated me anyway.

We started with the chips and dips, served atop a practical lazy Susan. The chips are very unique because they are a lot lighter and crispier than other restaurants, and the dips are fresh and popping with flavor. The red one is suitably spicy and not “dumbed down” for American palates. The green has a very refreshing avocado taste.

This was followed by queso fundido with chorizo and pico de gallo. It was served with freshly made tortillas. I could definitely taste that everything at this restaurant was fresh and made from scratch. The queso was flavorful and of a delicious consistency.

Our entrees were a picadillo taco with ground beef, which was delicious but slightly lacked something and a chile relleno, served with a deliciously fresh tomato sauce. The chile relleno was one of the best I have ever tasted, and definitely a dish I would order again. Our entrees were also served with plenty of Spanish rice, white rice and black and refried beans.

This place has a rather fun atmosphere, and 50s honky-tonk music was playing on the screens.

I enjoyed Superica very much for the quality of food and the fun and relaxed atmosphere. It brands itself as Tex Mex, but I was pleasantly surprised because I found the food to be lighter, more flavorful and more authentically Mexican than what I have typically sampled in this food genre.

Parking: Although there is a free parking lot, I almost always have to circle around multiple times before I find a spot, which I however always do. So, just be prepared and come early.”

But if you patronize between 11am-2:00pm please beware of a VERY dry, unprofessional, and rude new bartender, Crystal. Glasses and cringey country accent, can’t miss her. I stopped by Friday hoping to see my two favorite bartenders but they were not on the clock. I sat down at the bar, I spoke first to Crystal. She replied and placed menus in front me. I inquired about my two fave bartenders and when they’d be in (unbeknownst to me there was a dispute between a bartender and another “guest” who also happened to be an African American woman). Crystal was very dry with her response, she said something like they are closers and I asked oh what time do they come in? She was vague and said something like, later on not sure. I thought it was odd only because I’d come and asked for specific bartenders schedules in the past with ease. No problem, I understand she didn’t want to be specific for whatever reason. Again, I was unaware of a previous dispute.
After her vague response I looked down at my menu while she stared at me for at least 20 seconds and I finally responded, I’ll need a minute.
She didn’t offer WATER or any type of beverage. She simply walked off after I said I needed a minute. She didn’t say ‘okay’ or ‘be right back’ or ‘can I get you some water while you decide’. Nothing. I am the only one at the bar & there is another party of 4 gentlemen having a lunch meeting. Departing shortly. She wasn’t busy.
Less than 5 minutes later a party of two walks in, she seats them and IMMEDIATELY gives them water. 3-4 mins later a party of 4 walks in she IMMEDIATELY gives them water. As she drops it off I make eye contact so she can FINALLY come take my order. She asks, “you want something to drink?” I responded, “yes, that would be nice, water” Wondering why she severed two other tables water before myself and I had been there first. Even if a guest needs a minute to look over the menu you still take a drink order or ask if they’d like water.
Noticing her inattentiveness and unpleasantness l couldn’t stay long.
She brought the water and I gave my order and told her it will be to go. After I read the order to her she didn’t say “okay” “is that all” or read it back to make sure she’d heard me correctly. Just unpleasant! She NEVER checked on me again!
Fast forward, She delivers the food.
After getting some insight I learned that her disposition was due to her PRE-judging me as someone who may or may not cause trouble simply because I look like someone who had caused trouble in the past. So with this, she delivered piss poor customer service. I’ve been in the service industry on and off for 12 years and bartending for 4 of those. I know what top tier customer looks like and what is does not.
After you drop those menus, you ask, can I get you something to drink IMMEDIATELY. At the very least you give them water even if they need a minute to look at the menu! Which she did to the other tables! Which proves my point, she unfairly judge me based on my demographic and a prior run-in. As soon as I inquired about another bartenders schedule her mediocre service went to poor. If I was of another race or demographic she would not have delivered piss poor service, even if they asked about a particular bartenders schedule. Unfair & unprofessional…

“This was my first visit. Last year they gave teachers a gift card so I finally used it today. The food is fresh and they have a good variety to choose from. I grabbed a deal with the frozen soups ( baked potato, Georgia Brunswick stew, and chicken and andouille gumbo) and I can’t wait to try them out. I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken slices are thick and tender…. The prices are reasonable. I’ll update this post once I try the soups. Looking forward to going back!!!”

I came to the Grecian Dunwoody one day to pick up an order for my husband and was in a joking move that day. So, I said to Andy (worker) after placing my order. "I do not have any $$ to pay for it. Do you know this "outstanding young man" had sympathy for me and pulled out his personal credit card and offer to pay for my order. Ahhhh. I could have cried. WHO DOES THIS? Andy does this! “Wonderful lunch at Farm Burger. Had the Farm Burger...white cheddar, caramelized onions and FB sauce. Delicious, you can tell the meat was grass-fed. You can build your own..this one is very good.
They offer a basket of fries and onion rings. Again would recommend. The onion rings were outstanding!
We also had the collard greens. They are different...cooked with onions....with a trace of vinegar.
They had a good selection of beers. Staff was pleasant. Food came quickly.”

“Was there a management change recently?? I got the Yum Yum Shrimp and Chicken lo mein yesterday and neither was what I have gotten before. The yum yum shrimp were basically over battered small shrimp with a side of sauce in a container. This was not at all what I’ve ordered before. The chicken in the lo mein usually is very chunky, juicy and very flavorful, therefore putting it a step above other Chinese takeout places. This was not the case this time. It looked and tasted like every other takeout spot. The chicken was shaved very thin, had no flavor and there were way too many vegetables mixed in. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.”
