“Atmosphere is always great I love it that the servers are always helpful the place is always great when I comeDietary restrictions: However you need your food they will prepare it for you”
“This is the best place to go if you are trying Korean food for the first time. The food was soo good. I mean I finished every main meal I ordered.Parking: Right in front of the restaurant”
“We ordered dry pot with spicy diced chicken and flounder with ratten pepper. The flavor is outstanding. Chicken is tender and a bit crispy. There are also a lot of vegetable such as seaweed and crunchy cauliflower at the bottom. Will definitely visit here again!! Highly recommend this place.”
“Great spot to get authentic Korean food on Buford Highway. The staff was definitely overworked when I visited for lunch and took a little longer than expected to bring the check, but otherwise the service is always attentive and helpful. The food is delicious, I’ve tried the bulgogi bowl as well as the kimchi jiggae (both excellent). I love the little array of appetizers they bring out at the beginning, especially the tofu and green beans. Highly recommend!”
“Amazing food, even more amazing portions, definitely the kind of meal you wait for all week. Also If you're a fan AT all of lemonade, the biggest hidden gem in altanta, safe to say, make sure you get a couple extra bottles 100%”
“My favorite restaurant. Awesome atmosphere that makes you feel at home, and incredible food every time. I bring friends frequently and everyone has enjoyed. Highly recommend. ❤️❤️”
“It was ok but I’ve had better Korean food in Atlanta. I’d say the seafood pancake felt over fried (almost felt like fried chicken…) so personally I don’t recommend especially give the ~$25 price. Squid dish was decent and spicy. Banchan was good/inline with other Korean restaurants. The location is in the backroad of a weird mall (I gotta say it’s a bit “shady”, but adventurous…). Small space - prolly 8-10 tables? Customer service was better than most. Prices were fair. Overall not my favorite Korea place in Atlanta but certainly not a bad choice either.”
“We end up coming back to China Hot Pot over and over again thanks to its consistency and flavor. The best part about this hot pot is the sauce bar - be your own chef and mix everything in various proportions and you have a top class dipping sauce. The beef and pork slices are classics, but the fish is surprisingly good too!”
“This place was so good. The menu is HUGE, but you call when you're ready, so there's no pressure to rush through it. But I recommend looking ahead of time because you only have 2 hours once seated. My friends and I ordered several dishes and shared them family style. I highly recommend this so that you can try more things.”
“So much fun to dig in and get messy with a seafood boil! Great options for people like myself who love flavor but not heat with their spices (they also have spicy).”
“The restaurant is separated in two sections, main dining and Korean bbq grills. The Korean bbq option my friends and I got was some of the best quality beef we've had in a while. The nice ladies who work there will also cook the food for you and make sure you are taken care of. This place also gets pretty busy so if you want to try this place out either come early or prepare to wait.”
“I have been here many times, and it never fails to satisfy. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. The staff is very helpful and quick you will never leave here hungry!”
“Oh man this taiyaki is amazing! So fresh with awesome house custard. The ice cream is standard good but come here for the taiyaki. The atmosphere is very chill to just hang for a while after lunch or dinner.”
“While I'm usually quite particular, I must say the suya and jollof rice were delightful. The service was commendable, the waitresses were bad AF and met all my expectations surprisingly. The hookah surpassed my expectations with its unexpectedly smooth flavor. If you're in Atlanta, it's definitely worth a visit. The ambiance is sexy, and the music creates a great vibe. I'd rate it 10/10.”
“The food and service were amazing. Brought my boyfriend here for the first time and Miss Cha was super helpful and showed us how to combine all of the ingredients. They use traditional charcoal grills which is the preferred way and gives the food a nice flavor. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend others come here for an authentic experience!”
“Alpharetta food truck alley event which occurs the last Thursday of the month. At the Hapa Kitchen food truck, I had the Kalua pork plate lunch, fire style. This is a smoked Hawaiian style pulled pork plate. Served with furikake rice and Tutu's potato salad. The fire style is the addition of homemade Gochujang fire sauce. I didn't think it was very spicy, but I like spicy foods, so a little bit spicier would have been fine with me.It took about 15 minutes for the meal to be ready. Seemed a little bit long but when I got it, it was piping hot and delicious.Because it was a food truck, we sat outside at an available picnic table and listened to live music as the sun set behind us.If you see this Hawaiian comfort food truck at any event, I recommend trying one of their entrees or menu items.”
“I love peri peri chicken. Like, there is never a day when I wouldn't want to have peri peri. Atlanta doesn't have a Nando's so I was on the search for a local restaurant that sells it. I found Tatso and let me start by saying they are a ghost kitchen that only has late night ordering. You cannot order Tatso before 10pm. That alone is a bit rough - especially when you're trying to just have it for dinner. But I'm a trooper and decided I'd have it for a late night snack instead (and take leftovers for lunch). Placing my order online was easy enough. The pickup location in Doraville felt a little sketch - its superrrrr empty and dark. They definitely need light in the parking lot! But anyways, the food is what we're here for - I ordered the half chicken with the rice and grilled squash/zucchini. They gave me a free slice of red velvet cake with my order. Let's start by saying the grilled vegetables were AMAZING. I could eat that alone it's so tasty. Very well seasoned. The rice was meh. The chicken itself had soooo much potential. It was tasty on the outside but soon as you got into it, it was very dry and bland. The chicken had definitely not been marinated before. Overall I'm glad I tried it and the gentleman who handed me my order out of the door was very nice.”
“We wanted to try this because of the good reviews but it was not what we expected...this is more like a deli than restaurant...seems like you take food out and reheat/prepare at home...unfortunately we weren't prepared for take out”
“No-frills, longtime Buford Highway staple that serves Cantonese style Chinese food. I always get their black bean clams which are really flavorful and umami. Also, the stirfried peashoots and Chinese water spinach with garlic are both really good. Other good dishes include the lotus root stir fry with wood ear mushrooms, garlic chicken, and eggplant + salted fish claypot (my absolute favorite... so so delicious and umami, delicious when mixed with rice). Some of the best Cantonese food in Atlanta by far.”
“**English Review:**I recently had an incredible dining experience at El Veneno Marisqueria, located at 5072 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere was evident. The attentive waitress promptly seated us, and our excitement only grew from there. The drinks were not only huge but bursting with flavor. To our delight, they came with complimentary ceviche as appetizers. We also indulged in the shrimp empanadas, which were nothing short of superb. A word of caution – the side spice packs a punch, but it enhances the flavors in a truly unforgettable way.For our main dishes, I ordered the red snapper fried with mild spice, while my husband opted for Lobster Tail in Cream of Mushrooms with Seafood, sans octopus. The portions were generously sized, offering excellent value for the price. The real star, however, was the exquisite flavor of the food – a true culinary delight. As you can see from the photos, El Veneno Marisqueria delivers not only on quantity but, more importantly, on quality. If you haven't experienced this gem yet, you're truly missing out. I am already planning to become a regular patron. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for delivering such an amazing culinary experience.**Spanish Review:**I recently had an incredible dining experience at El Veneno Marisqueria, located at 5072 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340. “BBQ chicken is one of the most famous Korean fried chicken in Korea. To me, I personally like this place better than any other Korean chicken restaurant out there since the sauces are better, and the fried chickens are crisper than others. They close earlier than I expected. Good location and good customer service.”
“Loved beef tendon meat with the special seasoning powder! Also super recommend their sweet and sour pork crispy outside and tender inside. The server was nice and asked twice if we needed anything else.Me and friends will come to next week.5/5.”
“Delicious food and drinks!! You get so much for the price you pay. This is a seafood Mexican restaurant. Staff, for the most part, speak only spanish. I have basic knowledge of Spanish language lol but the staff were patient with helping me. I enjoyed watch the live band from the bar. They have large TVs if you want a cool place to get out watch a game and enjoy the food. They have gigantic drinks and other unique food experiences that you will not find no other place!! Bathroom was clean and smelled fresh. Restaurant was decorated well in a ocean like theme. Parking is free and its a large open lot. Many things to do in this plaza. Definitely check them out!”
