“I went to location across from the Aquarium. From the hostesses to my amazing Server Janiece, the entire experience was awesome! I had the Chicken and waffles and they were good. Both hostess (didnt get her name) and my waitress Janeice recommended the peach cobbler. Having never had peach cobbler I got it on the side. The chicken was flavorful and had nice crunch to it. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“

“Absolutely 100%, try it out. Can’t go wrong.I took the streetcar to get here from downtown so it was easy to get to. The area is questionable but it looks like alot is being put into it. I actually like areas with a little character.Building itself is neat, clean, fresh. I was greeted walking in and order was promptly taken. They do just a few things and they do it well.The chicken was seasoned and savory, the waffle was fluffy and the syrup was just the right bridge between for them both. I also ordered the peach topped chicken and waffles but I did not taste it. It looked great (and sweet) but I can’t vouch for it.Also had the peach tea. It was amazing, maybe a little pricey but it was good. They have a grits bowl which I did get. It was all the things you could want in a breakfast bowl - grits, eggs, cheese, chicken, bacon. “I love everything about this place, and the same can be said for each location I’ve been to (three different cities). All of them are top tier in terms of food, service and atmosphere, hands down. They’re called “Egg Harbor” but they make some of the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had, and I’m picky when it comes to breakfast/brunch. The service is fast and friendly, even when they have a packed house (which they pretty much always do - make a reservation to save time). I can’t say enough good things about this place, because I’ve yet to have a bad experience. Highly recommend checking them out at least one. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Local "mom and pop" type restaurant that I enjoyed. It had my namesake so I had to try it out! It feels very homely inside and they have a "regular" crowd and following. I heard customers being called by their names and their orders already being known. I sat in the corner and observed and I felt at ease. The food came out hot and plentiful. The biscuit was soft and melted in my mouth. It definitely tasted homemade. I did add salt and pepper to my omelet and that's OK; I get it. The grits were hot and were not stiff or too runny. I think I added a little salt and that was perfectly fine too. I'd definitely go back. There's not a lot of seating so be prepared to do take-out.“

“My husband and I went this morning (4/21) and Karen took care of us , it was our first time and it was an amazing experience! My husband got the habanero pork belly Benny and I got the monte cristo French toast . Also, we were able to try the most popular pancake the strawberry shortcake and it was awesome. There was not one thing that we disliked about our time there. The food was again AMAZING, our service was GREAT, and we will be returning. Thanks Karen and Snooze for a great experience!“

“I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a Waffle House, but this one was exceptional. We were there on a Saturday at 2 pm. There was over a dozen staff and while we sat and looked at the menu, I notice everyone, seriously, everyone was cleaning something.The floors were be scrubbed, not mopped, but like a bucket of soapy water thrown on the floor and they were scrubbing it with deck brushes. Someone was wiping the wall down while others were cleaning there area.I have never seen that many employees at a Waffle House. All were sort of poking fun at each other about how much cleaner their area was vs the other.Oh, yeah, the food was great as well. That's a given but the cleanliness and the attitude of the staff was fantastic. I don't know how Waffle House is ran, if it's franchised or corporate, but whoever the owner or manager of this store, Waffle House needs to send them to all their stores for some coaching! “This is a cool place last time I went there I had a strawberry and cream waffle and it was so good the pancakes or waffles do not come with a side but you can pick as much sides as you want they also serve coffee so you can go there for coffee or breakfast they are also open in the afternoon so you can go there for afternoon coffee too“

We came late morning so there were a lot of people there so we experienced a lot of talk noise. The server was a nice guy. Me and Wifey both ordered Beef Sandwich with Egg, it was good but heavy. We also ordered Purple Haze and it was awesome. “I came here since the wife was craving wings. To satisfy her cravings, I landed here at Connor's. When coming in, the owner was very welcoming. I got the lemon pepper wings along with a mix of buffalo (just medium spicy). The wings were pretty good, however I felt that wings are always on the small size, and the pricing of any wings are expensive nowadays. For myself I got the Philly Cheese steak. It was alright as well, I've had better, but to be honest the proximity and how this is a neighborhood spot makes me happy that it's still here. I was going to go one time but stayed up late the night before reading a wiki page on waffle house shooting and got too spooked to go. When visiting my cousins, they assured me this location was in a safe area so I finally gave it a try. The food was great! Service was a little slow and they apologized for it saying two of their main people were out. It was still much faster than most breakfast places on a weekend. I had the seasonal pumpkin waffle and hash browns and would recommend. Prices were great.“
