“We celebrated my niece's 16th birthday and even though the food didn't come back quite like some wanted it, we definitely appreciated the server Jamani for assisting our server who seemed a little overwhelmed and the Manager Taylor was awesome! He was great with fixing the issues and making the situation better considering it was a birthday brunch celebration! He & Jamani even sang Happy Birthday with us to her! It ended up being a good time! Thank you guys so much!“

“This was a random stop as we were walking by after getting off the belt line. What a find!!Awesome vibe if music, colors, and friendly service from all. I had Juan’s Breakfast Tacos 🌮 and my son had Chocolate Chip pancakes. Best breakfast tacos I have had since my favorite place when living in Austin, TX. Mikale (sp?) helped us and was very friendly and helpful.“

“We are so excited about this place because we needed a place like this on the Eastside. I recommend everything listed because me, my mom and sister have tired the fish and grits, salmon and sausage (pork and chicken) biscuits, pancakes and waffles, fried chicken, pork chops and etc. Please don’t just take my word for it, go try it for yourself. Let’s keep supporting so we can keep this place around for a very long time.“

“Everything about this place was awesome! I got avocado toast, and my husband got the barbecoa bowl. We both loved our food. The environment was super nice, our server was kind and attentive. The watermelon wake-up juice was easily my favorite part if the experience. If you are looking for healthy, and filling food that is 10/10 and reasonably priced, this is your spot!“

“I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant.
What stood out to me was how Gigi handled the situation. Instead of reacting with frustration or immediately escalating things, she approached it with such calm, compassion, and grace. You could tell she truly saw the person in front of her, not just the disruption. She gently de-escalated the situation, made sure the woman was able to eat, and ultimately helped her leave peacefully without things turning into something much bigger.
It was one of those moments that really stays with you. In a world where it’s easy to react quickly or call for backup, Gigi chose patience and humanity. That kind of care and presence is rare, and it left a lasting impression on me.
I walked away not just impressed, but genuinely moved. That is what exceptional service looks like.“

And, everything was packaged so nicely that it made set up at home a breeze. Highly recommend them for event catering! “Fast, cheap and tasty. A classic meat-and-three southern diner. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Excellent value for the price; you can get a square meal with a protein and lots of veggies for like $10. For maximum ambience, eat your food there and watch some Judge Judy.“

“Today is my birthday and unknowingly a young lady at the register made my morning so special. Not only did she take my order over the phone while my aunt was there, she also notified me while parked outside that my order was ready. She was greeting customers and taking orders with eagerness and approachable friendliness. My food was fresh and hot and the staff was working diligently with pleasant attitudes. Thank yall!“

“I went to the Waffle House for the first time. There aren’t any in the area that I live in. I always hear about it and see it on TV shows, movies, and people talking about it online (good & not good).
I went by myself on a Monday morning prior to me checking out of my hotel and about to catch my flight. I was surprised at how great the customer service was, how fast the food was ready, and how inexpensive my meal was.
The food was good as well.
My booth was clean that I sat in and the restroom was clean. The staff was organized and I didn’t have any issues.
I honestly know everyone has their own experiences, but my experience was great.
Because of this, I will return to another Waffle House when I’m in another area where they are located.“

“The shrimp and grits with cheese was a chefs kiss. Whatever gravy they had on there just added a whole new layer of flavor. 10/10 would reccomended. They were all very nice in there too. My only issue was the size of the place it was a bit small in there. If you wanted to eat in there was slim pickings at where to eat. Might be a good idea to expand the business IJS. It will be on my radar the next time I'm in ATL.“

Today, I finally had the pleasure of meeting Gocha herself, and she was just as kind and genuine as her restaurants reflect. If you’re looking for one of the best breakfast experiences in Atlanta, Gocha’s Breakfast Bar is definitely worth the visit.
