It’s located a little outside Fayette….right behind the new Tim Horton’s at Exit 61 in Fairburn but it was so good I felt I should share! Kiss My Gritz in Fairburn was a fantastic surprise. The restaurant is small but mighty. It has a bright, vibrant color scheme and a fun vibe. Great music playing overhead, not too loud. Very clean. Chrissy was our server and was so pleasant. She described the dishes we asked about perfectly. I ordered the open faced fried chicken with sausage gravy breakfast biscuit. It was served with eggs on top. I chose to have my eggs scrambled. She told us it was alot of food….and she wasn’t joking. The eggs were creamy and cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy had a “just right” consistency and was heavily peppered….just enough to give a depth of flavor but not too much as to overpower. The fried chicken was super crispy and very juicy on the inside. The biscuit was huge! It had been sliced open, buttered and toasted on the flat top. Very light and airy. Not cakey or dense. One of the best biscuits I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The grits were creamy and seasoned with butter, salt and pepper. The coffee was a nice, full bodied cup of flavor. They have been open since August of ‘25. The menu had awesome breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Crab cake Eggs Benedict, catfish and grits, shrimp and grits, roasted veggie omelets…lamb chops and ox tails…just to name a few items. They also offer a full bar with mimosas and craft cocktails. And if all of the above wasn’t quite enough….there is a dessert case as you exit. We chose to take home the Butterfinger bread pudding and a huge walnut brownie for later……Oh my goodness! Fantastic! I sure hope y’all will go and try this place! Great addition to the food scene in our area.“

“Had a great experience at Cafe Social House near South Fulton! The customer service was immaculate from the moment we walked in, and the food came out within a reasonable time frame. I also appreciated how diverse the menu was, offering options for different appetites and preferences.

I really enjoyed the salmon croquette selection with scrambled eggs and grits, and my son loved the kids’ chocolate chip pancake meal. Everything was flavorful and well prepared.

The only downside for me was the 18% gratuity/service charge that’s mentioned before ordering on the menu. Other than that, we had a really pleasant dining experience overall.“

“I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant.

What stood out to me was how Gigi handled the situation. Instead of reacting with frustration or immediately escalating things, she approached it with such calm, compassion, and grace. You could tell she truly saw the person in front of her, not just the disruption. She gently de-escalated the situation, made sure the woman was able to eat, and ultimately helped her leave peacefully without things turning into something much bigger.

It was one of those moments that really stays with you. In a world where it’s easy to react quickly or call for backup, Gigi chose patience and humanity. That kind of care and presence is rare, and it left a lasting impression on me.

“This was my first time at First Watch and I must say I will have to go again. The vibe was super friendly and very busy but enjoyable. I had the blueberry pancake with turkey sausage and scrambled cheese eggs. To me the pancake was a little crispy but the jelly sauce went well with it. My server had great customer service which I loved. She explained which will be the better option of my meal choices and why because I love when the server gives his/her opinion of a meal. It shows they have either worked there for a minute and they eat the food.
I will return because they have a lot of food options and I would love to try the blueberry lemon pancake.
