“Ended up coming here after quite an eventful Sunday morning. When we walked in, it was already very busy and there were people waiting for tables to open up. Christophe did an excellent job trying to keep track of the order of people coming in as he was also cleaning tables that had just opened back up. Once we did get sat, Jada provided us with wonderful service. She was very attentive to us, and her bubbly demeanor was refreshing after a tough morning.

As we were leaving, Christophe noticed that my grandmother was having a bit of trouble getting herself to stand out of the booth, and he did not hesitate to offer her help even though he was still busy clearing tables and sitting other groups who were waiting. He was incredibly sweet and it delighted my grandmother (and myself) that he cared enough to help.“

“Oh my goodness!!! I just discovered a great little breakfast spot! It’s located a little outside Fayette….right behind the new Tim Horton’s at Exit 61 in Fairburn but it was so good I felt I should share! Kiss My Gritz in Fairburn was a fantastic surprise. The restaurant is small but mighty. It has a bright, vibrant color scheme and a fun vibe. Great music playing overhead, not too loud. Very clean. Chrissy was our server and was so pleasant. She described the dishes we asked about perfectly. I ordered the open faced fried chicken with sausage gravy breakfast biscuit. It was served with eggs on top. I chose to have my eggs scrambled. She told us it was alot of food….and she wasn’t joking. The eggs were creamy and cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy had a “just right” consistency and was heavily peppered….just enough to give a depth of flavor but not too much as to overpower. The fried chicken was super crispy and very juicy on the inside. The biscuit was huge! It had been sliced open, buttered and toasted on the flat top. Very light and airy. Not cakey or dense. One of the best biscuits I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The grits were creamy and seasoned with butter, salt and pepper. The coffee was a nice, full bodied cup of flavor. They have been open since August of ‘25. The menu had awesome breakfast, brunch and lunch options. Crab cake Eggs Benedict, catfish and grits, shrimp and grits, roasted veggie omelets…lamb chops and ox tails…just to name a few items. They also offer a full bar with mimosas and craft cocktails. And if all of the above wasn’t quite enough….there is a dessert case as you exit. We chose to take home the Butterfinger bread pudding and a huge walnut brownie for later……Oh my goodness! Fantastic! I sure hope y’all will go and try this place! Great addition to the food scene in our area.“

“Ordered corned beef hash, which was moist and tasty beef. They were actually chunks of beef instead of the mashed dog food other places have. Sooo good. I order over medium eggs but they were very runny, egg whites were not even cooked all the way. The staff took care of it right away. The manager even came back to inform me the time it would take to come out instead of leaving me alone for too long. Excellent service. I sat outside because it was a pleasant day.“

“I went over for a local, homemade breakfast. The first option on the menu was named after a grandmother with my last name so I had to give it a shot. That salmon plate was THE BEST breakfast I've had in years. 10/10, the service was quick, friendly and reliable. When they say you're family when you walk in, they aren't kidding! They'll do anything they can to take care of you if you come with some respect. If you're nearby I gatuntee it tops and food options within 30 minutes, uncontested. Still owned by the family that started it, and the 3rd generation owner personally cooks for you. It's an amazing opportunity to start your day right.“

“This is a small, very homey place, with basic, good quality food for a fair price. Since it was my first time, I had the breakfast bowl w/ potatoes & sausage. The eggs were fresh, the sausage had a good char on it from the grill, & the potatoes were well seasoned, but not greasy. The servings were just the right size to fill you up, without leaving you in a carb coma. They had plastic ware instead of silverware, but the bowls & coffee cups were real ceramics, so they're spending their money on the right things. The staff were very friendly, & were able to chat with customers while still providing efficient service. On my next visit, I will be willing to trust them with fish & grits!“

Happy friendly staff (they were singing the jukebox the whole time haha) shout out to Selecia, for introducing me to Waffle House sauce and being so friendly! Great food that was fast! Awesome vibes. “This Waffle House is in a lovely location within a historic community, and the atmosphere in very warm. When you arrive, you are immediately greeted and asked if you prefer to place your orders To Go or dine in. I sat at the dining counter, and I ordered the All Star meal that came with, eggs, chicken sausage, toast, hash browns, and a waffle. I added chocolate chips and pecans to my waffle, and I got some decaffeinated coffee ☕️ with Splenda. The food was a great value, and the service was also great. The wait time was good, and I plan to return to this location this week.“

“I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant.

What stood out to me was how Gigi handled the situation. Instead of reacting with frustration or immediately escalating things, she approached it with such calm, compassion, and grace. You could tell she truly saw the person in front of her, not just the disruption. She gently de-escalated the situation, made sure the woman was able to eat, and ultimately helped her leave peacefully without things turning into something much bigger.

It was one of those moments that really stays with you. In a world where it’s easy to react quickly or call for backup, Gigi chose patience and humanity. That kind of care and presence is rare, and it left a lasting impression on me.

“This place didn't look like much but had really good southern cooked fresh food. I mean for like $13 you get a big plate with two sides and a roll or cornbread. The fried chicken was great and the porkchops where good. They gave me two porkchops. I also enjoyed the peach cobbler. I would rate it 8 out of 10.“

I returned back to my this location, and customer service was great, Joshua the manager approach me with the most pleasant and outstanding attitude made sure I was ok and apologize for the previous event that had happened He blended in as a teamplayer, you can tell he is naturally that way i didn't know he was the manager that's how well he make sure everyone in the restaurant was taken care of. “The shrimp and grits with cheese was a chefs kiss. Whatever gravy they had on there just added a whole new layer of flavor. 10/10 would reccomended. They were all very nice in there too. My only issue was the size of the place it was a bit small in there. If you wanted to eat in there was slim pickings at where to eat. Might be a good idea to expand the business IJS. It will be on my radar the next time I'm in ATL.“
