“This is a local spot. I went here with my homegirl. It is in like downtown east point and it was recommended by some coworkers. Obviously its an upstairs bar that over looks an alley but it was still pretty cool. When you walk in the first thing that hits you is the smell the whole place just smells old almost moldy. Depending how sensitive you are to smell it can be an issue. For me I could enjoy the food or anything else because it just bothered me so much. There is a balcony outside but everyone out there was smoking cigarettes and cigars so that wasn't my scene. Besides that the bar looks really cool. There were lots of games and arcades in there. The bar tender was super cool. I didn't eat anything so I can't speak on the food. If your into hippy bars with an 80's feel you'll love this place. It's not for everyone but I could see a lot of people liking it.“

“I wanted to support a small business since I live 10 minutes away. That was the right decision. I got the smash burger and it was one of the best I had in the Atlanta metro. It was so tender it was falling apart and flavorful without being extra. You guys can cook! I'm getting something for my wife next time I come back. Keep up the good work.“

“Wonderful neighborhood Mexican spot. We go at least once a week. The food is always hot and delicious. Also they’ve got a great happy hour and there margaritas are strong. Pay no mind to the negative reviews. Just visit during a happy hour and see for yourself!“

“Ordered here two days in a row while visiting with a friend in Atlanta. The food was good, arrived quickly and was not cold. On the second day, today, I ordered three omelettes, along with other items. One of the omelettes ordered, called for mushrooms, the other two did not. The second two were supposed to be identical. For some reason, mushrooms were added to one of the other orders. However, I did not order mushrooms because I am allergic to them. Unfortunately, I tried to call three times, but only got a message stating “we’re not available now, please call again!” Other than this mishap, which could have been really bad had I not noticed the mushrooms and consumed them, everything else was good.“

“Reminiscent of a vintage beach bar, Spondivits offers valet parking and the friendliest service! From the minute we walked in, everyone we encountered couldn’t have been more welcoming and gracious. The food was prepared perfectly - steamed crab legs and shrimp, fried shrimp, Cajun burger, and shrimp po-boy all were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!!!“

“Ended up coming here after quite an eventful Sunday morning. When we walked in, it was already very busy and there were people waiting for tables to open up. Christophe did an excellent job trying to keep track of the order of people coming in as he was also cleaning tables that had just opened back up. Once we did get sat, Jada provided us with wonderful service. She was very attentive to us, and her bubbly demeanor was refreshing after a tough morning.
As we were leaving, Christophe noticed that my grandmother was having a bit of trouble getting herself to stand out of the booth, and he did not hesitate to offer her help even though he was still busy clearing tables and sitting other groups who were waiting. He was incredibly sweet and it delighted my grandmother (and myself) that he cared enough to help.“
