“OMG y'all. I haven't seen a Philly Connection in years. I ordered a mushroom cheese steak it was not skimpy and tasted great!! There was one nice lil lady running the whole operation of the store. She was on point and very clean in her food preparation. I will drive out of my way to stop here anytime I'm in the area.“

“I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy.

I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10.

I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal.

Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!“

“I was taken by Friends, but was not really hungry. I had Mac n Cheese, to go, and it was delicious. Everything behind the glass looked fantastic. My Friends got the Pork Chop dinner. They love it there. I will go back again. The only negative for me was an 88B. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Food, Cleanliness, or Service. Probably building repairs or something minor. I will be going back. Oxtails were very expensive. Given the rising price of Oxtails, I did understand. They were huge and covered in a brown gravy. $26 for 3 with 2 sides. Oxtails are very expensive. If you love them, like me, you will pay the price. You pay more than that at your steak houses.“

How hard is it? I tip every time. The sandwich says it comes with pickles, but the last four times it had no pickles. We were told by the owner that if we want pickles to add in the comments, WHICH I DID, and still no freaking pickles. I will no longer be tipping.“
