“I had the pleasure of dining at Lazy Betty last night and I can not begin to tell you how wonderful the meal was. The attention to detail in the preparation and service was above the norm. Servers were friendly, personable yet not intrusive which is a difficult mix that they have mastered. I had the blue crab legs (boiled and chilled so it was served cold with some sort of mango garlic vinaigrette?) and omg, I loved it so much. I didn't expect it to taste that good. The trout was perfectly cooked and the skin was crisp. The caramelized sweet potatoes were divine. The spinalis steak was tender and the onion ring that came with it has a really good flavor and texture. Very happy with everything.“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment lastnight and we were absolutely blown away by the service, ambiance, drinks and FOOD!! the staff was very friendly. We were immediately greated by Harold as soon as we walked into the restaurant, and he suggested a glass of Chardonnay, which I really enjoyed. The bartender Chris came over to our table and gave us a very detailed explanation of a few drinks that the bartenders created. My husband ordered “amigo, the devil” and it was spectacular. Our server Tiffany was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and referred us some really good dishes throughout the night. Seriously guys, Tiffany was the best, her service was impeccable. The Fidello pasta special was a total knockout and deserves a fulltime spot on the menu. Chef khalia made her way over to our table and also suggested a couple items on the menu to us. It was an amazing night to say the least and my husband and I can’t wait to be back.“

Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

“I can see why this place has been around forever! We made a reservation for two about an hour before we showed up and were able to be seated outside. It was a Sunday morning, so service was slightly slower than normal but to be expected at that time. We only noticed because we were starving but once the food arrived it was worth the freaking wait!!! SO good. Even the appetizer breads they brought were delish, wish they gave you more almost but glad they didn’t because I would fill up. I will definitely come back!“

“Went to South City for an early dinner after getting off the plane and this place does NOT disappoint. Tried the Spicy Cauliflower and Fried Green Tomatoes and both were excellent. The Fried Green Tomatoes had goat cheese put on before frying and normally I am not a fan of goat cheese… this provided a creamy texture and brine that matched perfectly with the tomatoes. My colleague got the Spicy Cauliflower and the pairings of the charred Cauliflower with the spicy peanut relish was delightful and something I’ve never experienced before. The entrees were just as good. My colleague got the Shrimp and Grits and she said it was good- the shrimp looked amazing, but I am not a fan of shrimp and grits together (though I do love them separately). I got the Springer Mountain Farms Fried Chicken and it was so tasty- not the best fried chicken I have ever had- but the collard greens and mashed potatoes may have been the best I have ever had. The chicken was very good, don’t get me wrong, but overshadowed by the amazing collard greens that were seasoned perfectly with garlic and thyme. The mashed potatoes made me feel like I was having my grandmother’s mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving. Finally, I had to try the Peach Pecan Pie… I took it to go and the fresh peaches, the fresh whipped cream, and the glaze… the only thing missing was the pecans (the pie filling was pecan pie filling… but sans pecans so I get what they were doing and it was still fantastic… but a pecan or two would have put it at a 10.). Emmanuel was our server and he knew the menu backwards and forwards and was very accommodating. Loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat. Especially to try the pork chop and spoonybread!“

“Went here last night for a birthday dinner, we waited like 20-30 mins on a table, cause we had a large group. I had to come to give a review to the server Anthony!!! OMG, some of the best service I have had in a long time!! Definitely a great worker, and knows how to handle a large group… All our food came out correct, and HOT!!! He made sure our table was clean as soon as we were done, and our cups stayed full! He did all this great service, while wearing an orthopedic boot. He deserves recognition, and so does the cooks… The food was GREAT!!
