“I wanted to give this place 3.5 stars but settled on 3 stars because the cons outweigh the pros.

Let me start with the good. This is a shack with parking up front. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is friendly and fast.

Cons. They only have outdoor seating. Most of the seats are stools without backs. There were some flies and a wasp lurking in the patio. Fans were blowing away my napkins. When I paid in cash they rounded my bill up to the next dollar. Never had someone do that before. $34 for a cheesesteak, potatoes, and small drink seems to be overly priced at a take-out spot. It would be more understanding if you could dine-in or had waiter service.

I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak with smashed fried potatoes and a Bourbon Peach Punch. The drink was tasty but really small to cost $10. It looked like a 6oz cup. I would prefer to pay $5 more for a full glass. The smashed fried potatoes were covered in a sauce and some of the best potatoes I have had anywhere. The cheesesteak was made with pork (also a new experience for me) and had plenty of cheese and onions.”

“If you’re looking for a great local spot in Avondale Estates, I highly recommend The Lost Druid Brewery & Distillery. It’s an awesome hangout with a relaxed atmosphere, outstanding craft beer, and elevated pub food. The indoor-outdoor space and covered patio make it a perfect place to catch up with friends or unwind after a long day. The brewery features more than 20 rotating taps, cocktails, and a menu that goes well beyond typical bar fare.

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating—especially Andrew, one of the bartenders, who always makes guests feel welcome. If you stop by, be sure to ask for him.

Whether you’re in the mood for a pretzel and beer cheese, wings, a flatbread, or just a great conversation over a local brew, The Lost Druid is one of Avondale Estates’ hidden gems.”

“That fruit galette was delicious! It’s so cute inside and outside. It was very noisy trying to order though because the kitchen is exposed … why do places do that?”

“Love skips!! The food is always wonderful and so is the service no matter if you dine in or take out you will not be disappointed. The burgers are delicious and massive! The onion rings are tasty. My husband raves about the Philly cheesesteaks and Chicago dogs. We have never had a bad experience here! Would definitely recommend trying!”

“My friend Mike aka Puddles Pity Party and his lovely wife Shannon brought us here as they live nearby and raved about the food. I'm glad they did, because it was absolutely spectacular! “This place is awesome! Not the biggest fan of the genre of music they play, but I love that they have an identity and they stick to it and shove it down your throat! Beers are fantastic. Big IPA fan and every IPA / pale ale I’ve had here kicks ass. Not the biggest place, but I’ve brought my wife and two kids and we all enjoyed it.”

“Just had lunch with friends. The food was incredible and the staff very friendly. The interior design is amazing. If you love yakitori you won’t be disappointed. If you’ve never tried it, you really should. The miso soup is very good and the post meal Japanese melon is a surprising finish to a great meal. Looking forward to trying out the dinner menu. “Absolutely amazing. The half cheese half pepperoni I had was great, but the dough was were it was at. I say that as a Yankee. The bartenders Meredith and Teresa were great. Very personable and engaging. The bar is a great place for a dive date night. Very kind and family friendly restaurant. I highly recommend it 👌”

“I don't know why did we not come here before, every single time, when I wanted a pho! It is extremely hard to find a good vegetarian pho, these guys nailed it ❤❤❤
But the real jem here is people like John (the person in picture), who go above and beyond to make your food special, give the correct food advice for the correct mood, taste and aroma:)
The food was extremely flavorful, I just couldn't stop eating!
One of the vegetarian best dishes they had to offer was the lemongrass tofu. It was like marshmallow, never had such delicious and soft tofu before!
Also decided to get smoothie at the end, which was amazing!”

“I had the pleasure of dining at Lazy Betty last night and I can not begin to tell you how wonderful the meal was. The attention to detail in the preparation and service was above the norm. Servers were friendly, personable yet not intrusive which is a difficult mix that they have mastered. I highly recommend this establishment if you want a culinary “experience” that will make your tastebuds explode with delight.”

“Went here for dinner. Everything we ate was so tasty (fried shrimp, trout, catch of the day, lamb burger). Except for the sweet breads which we didn't care for, but they took them off the bill which was considerate. The regular, more reasonably priced cocktails are excellent. The more premium cocktails are just straight booze though, not recommended, were too strong with no flavor or balance. But the standard cocktails were so refreshing.”

“I would highly recommend BoccaLupo. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, veggies, and desserts. Very different drink and food menu adds to this top notch restaurant. All servers are very knowledgeable in the menu and daily taste specials. Also, they make excellent recommendations if u ask. “Good food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. Banshee was a great dinner, it is a smaller space which i prefer to the more sprawling restaurants like optimist or two urban licks. The vibe is personal and it doesn't feel like you are on restaurant rails like with some of the bigger spots.

Food was excellent, the fry bread is fun and we had a tomato appetizer that was spectacular. Had the fish and a corn pasta dish for the mains which were also delicious.

The cocktails were creative and I enjoyed them, but my wife said they were a little lackluster, so make of that what you will. They have a full bar and their bartenders seemed knowledgeable.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.”
