“So I'm feeling like some Ethiopian food while we were in the Decatur area. I do a search and this place has good reviews so we stop in. After seeing the Anthony's Pizza sign, the wife is definitely looking at me like I've gone crazy. That was right up until the lady who took our order brought out our Doro Wat and Gomen Besga. Both were incredibly delicious. They're not shy about the spice either which I loved. She also spent some time chatting with us about her parents who do the cooking and run the restaurant/bar and gave us a sample of her Mother's wine which was pretty good also. We'll definitely be back and maybe one day we'll even try their pizza. :-)”

“This place is my favorite in all of GA! I've been eating wings from here ever since I was a little girl and couldn't drive. Now I'm fully grown and can drive to go get them myself. “I know this place recently has always seemed closed during their normal posted/advertised business hours. Keep checking by. It's been a long time since I've tasted really good Ethiopian food and Melu's is serving it hot and fresh!! OMG, this hidden gem's food is DELICIOUS!! (Hence, the 5-star rating)?. Entree portions are enough for two. Most meals are ordered for take-outs, but if you have a small party (4or less) there is seating available. Atmosphere is mom & pop causal. There is a TV for viewing and traditional/local music playing over the sound system. Come with hungry bellies!! Menu items are limited but they prepare them well. Free parking available in the shopping strip they are located. Also, If your tummy can't handle the heat, they will accommodate.”

“I've had Ethiopian and Eritrean food all over the United States. This place is authentic and delicious!! I have to say I wasn't a fan of the Veggie Sambusa, but I've never had one before and it could just be personal preference. Everything tastes fresh, is very well seasoned, and the portions are great. The staff are friendly and I cannot believe this place was empty on a Saturday during lunchtime. The rich butter and berbere flavor in the spicy beef tibs dish was incredible. I'll be back for sure.”

“As always, La Grotta remains one of the best Italian restaurants around. The atmosphere is classy, so please dress accordingly, as people go for both the atmosphere as well as the food/vino. The super tuscan vino is great if you are looking for a new wine to try, you can order a glass or the bottle (I recommend bottle if there are 3+ in your party it ends up being cheaper than individual glasses). The sacchetti as well as the pappardelle are both wonderful dishes. The gnocchi is cooked perfectly if you are a gnocchi fan.”

“Dinner on a Tuesday night at the Kimball house was wonderful. Loved the decor inside and overall ambience. My party enjoyed everything we ordered especially the entrees, they were all excellent and difficult to pick a favorite between the tenderloin, duck and snapper. The grilled oysters were a little different than the typical Parmesan garlic but they were amazing as well. I think the weakest dish for me was the fried shrimp. The pieces were small and seemed like a lot of breading. We didn't order dessert here and elected to walk over to butter & cream for dessert. Would definitely come back for dinner again!”

When I entered the establishment, it was very quick to get me seated (the days i been.) and I was able to soak in the atmosphere. The music choices is very diverse and it keeps the bibe going. The food was balanced and no flavor was dominating the other. I ordered the Etoufee bowl with shrimp as my protein. I enjoyed the girl shrimp and the bowl did everything it needed to do and it was on the first bite that I knew i needed to come back. Moreover, I tried their mac n cheese with crawfish, when I took a bite… I was amazed on how creamy the mac n cheese was. I wish they served the Polar one degree above freezing point to make it a full Venezuelan experience. “We were staying a few days in Atlanta and walked to this little coffee shop. It had been highly recommended to us by our good friends. We took our dogs and sat on the patio. I ordered a vegan biscuit and vegan sausage. A smiling gentleman brought it out, and he had given us an extra vegan, blueberry scone. Everything about this little coffee shop was so welcoming and warm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend it.”

We went in for my mom’s birthday and had the most incredible experience which ended up being the highlight of the night.
