Stopped by today mid-afternoon and had a great experience. The service is top tier and their food is amazing quality. Today I ordered the curry chickpea sandwich that came in a warm pita pocket. The chickpea curry had the perfect flavor and texture. Loved the potato salad side with a little tang and boiled egg pieces with the perfect amount of pickles. 10/10!!
I have never been disappointed by the food here. Breakfast and lunch are both amazing! The seating is nice with fans and heaters. The service is a tad slow. The pricing is a tad high. Overall I highly recommend.
Big Hippo Breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had in Atlanta. Eggs were PERFECT. Entire thing was filling, but also light at the same time. 10/10 would have again

Service is quick and friendly, and visitors often find the atmosphere peaceful and enjoyable. With trivia offered on Mondays, The Little Hippo is a fun place to meet after work, making it a must-visit for delicious food and drinks.
