“Top Notch!!!The service was great people were very friendly. The drinks hit the spot. The food - wow!The steak tartare and smoke mackerel dip are great starters. The highlight is having a group to share The Chuck Wagon!!! The 2 sides were great (potatoes and mushrooms). The actual steak was cooked perfectly, amazing flavor and just a great cut of meat.Make a reservation and enjoy this gem inside Krog Street Market! You will not be disappointed!!“

“We ordered delivery. Everything tasted wonderful but they sent a different trout dish - it came with a bunch of ham and small white potatoes, not the squash, farro, caper sauce as advertised. Unfortunately, ham and white potatoes are bad for me so I could only eat the trout. Like I said the pieces of trout tasted great on their own. We also got the the salad w beets, duck egg rolls, and duck entree, those were all very tasty!I recommend calling first to make sure the trout will be as listed in the app.Dietary restrictions: For those that can’t eat pork, make sure to call to verify which trout recipe they are going to send you bc the doordash info was wrong and dish came w a ton of ham.“

“I came here in celebration of my boyfriend's birthday, and it is fair to say that this is one of Atlanta's most stunning restaurants. From the moment you drive up to valet and step foot into the Hyatt Regency hotel the level of service was upscale and top of the line & noticeably consistent amongst all of the staff. They all made my boyfriend feel so special and acknowledged for his birthday. I LOVED the hospitality from our server she was very vibrant and even offered to take our photos without us even having to ask which was a major plus! The food was very flavorful. I ordered the Polaris Steak Oscar the portion size was fairly small but everything was delicious and complimented everything on the plate very well. Due to the portion size I ranked my meal a 8/10. My boyfriend ordered the Steelhead Trout which was also very delicious but he only liked the trout everything else on the plate he wasn't too impressed with he ranked it a 7/10. As a complimentary birthday freebie they offered my bf 3 options either a free dessert of his choice, a free shot of alcohol or a free glass of champagne. He went with the free glass of champagne! Something extremely unique about this restaurant is that it rotates while you're eating and offers breathtaking 360 degrees views of the city. Such an exciting fun touch to dining here unlike any restaurant I've eaten at in Atlanta. I also liked how the seating was very intimate and romantic it was our table and one other table next to ours which was perfect for the romantic birthday dinner I was going for. Pricing here was inexpensive, and overall I would rate this restaurant with 5 stars ?“

“The dishes are inventive and delicious, but there were only a couple that were "wow-worthy." There were some plating issues that left me thinking if they had someone working the pass to inspect dishes before they left the kitchen. For example, for one dish I had an errant medallion of fish sitting on the rim of my plate, and during another course one of my dining partner's dishes had a "splatter" sauce as the base of the dish while the rest of us had an elegant "swoosh" of sauce. The fish and scallops were overcooked, too. That being said it was still a great experience. We did the tasting menu and I had a classic wine pairing. The pairing was hit and miss but mostly hits; there were some unexpected wines that I can only describe as a bit funky but they paired well with the dish served alongside them. The sommelier was helpful and great at fielding any questions I had. I loved all the details about each selection. The staff are kind, efficient, and helpful at every opportunity. The only feedback I have is better coordination for service is needed but this is just a minor point. We're very happy to have experienced Atlas and would recommend it to fellow food lovers as a solid option for those in the Buckhead area looking for fine dining.“

“Rumi's in Midtown offers the perfect blend of upscale ambiance and cozy comforts, making it ideal for both dressy date nights and relaxed movie nights at home. The Lamb Lahmacun is a standout choice for takeout, while dining in presents the opportunity to savor the unparalleled sea bass, making it a must-visit spot in Atlanta.Midtown, Atlanta and Avalon, Alpharetta are my favorite of the locations in Georgia.“

“From the moment I made my reservation, The Optimist in Atlanta promised a distinctive dining adventure, and oh boy, did they deliver! Steering clear of the usual praise for décor, this review highlights the exceptional aspects that truly make The Optimist a must-visit destination.First off, the service here isn't just good; it's clairvoyant. The staff anticipated needs I didn't know I had, from detailed explanations of dish ingredients to personalized recommendations tailored to my taste preferences. Their timing was impeccable, ensuring a seamless flow from course to course without ever feeling rushed. Now, let’s talk about the culinary journey. The menu, inspired by sea fare, offers a refreshing twist on classic seafood dishes. The smoked oysters are a revelation—served with a mignonette that features a hint of apple, which beautifully complements the smokiness. And the main event, the whole roasted fish, is a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor, showcasing the chef’s deft touch and respect for high-quality ingredients. Not to be outdone, the beverage selection at The Optimist is a treasure chest of delights. The cocktail list is inventive, featuring sea-inspired twists on classic drinks, like the "Saltwater Taffy Old Fashioned," which is as whimsical as it is delicious. The wine list is equally impressive, with thoughtful pairings that elevate the fish dishes to new heights. In summary, The Optimist isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a voyage that delights and surprises with its service, menu creativity, and attention to detail. It’s a place where every visit promises new discoveries, making it clear why this gem is often touted as one of the best seafood experiences in Atlanta.“

“So consistent, so good—it’s one of the only places in town we always enjoy. The menu changes often and seasonally but they always keep a few staples. Can’t go wrong with anything you try. Service is great, drink selection is great, tiramisu is extra great!“

“Another home run for us regarding our dining experience at a mano! This neighborhood gem is definitely our “Cheers”! We brought more friends who had never been to a mano before. Such a wonderful evening thanks to our server, Matt, who was on top of his game so to speak. However, I understand that Matt is always on top of his game! Thanks again to Sasha, Lucy, and Bethany for making us feel incredibly welcome and valued. Our friends said they would definitely be back!“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“

“Feel good atmosphere and loved the food and service! Thomas is awesome and so personable which makes you feel like you want to spend all day there. The plantain chips and queso is a delicious twist! My husband and I enjoyed the Cuban and guava cheesecake too! Cuban is one of, if not THE best, we’ve had. We have ventured all over the world and lived in different countries so we aren’t bluffing. We got the Grilled Red Snapper To-Go for my cousin and she said it was amazing! Seems like the type of place where anything you order will be tasty!“

“Through no fault of their own, this place got flooded with 50+ extra guests and they held it in stride. There were hiccups that were to be expected with that kind of unexpected business, but the food and the service were solid throughout. If you're just a party of 2-8 or even more , I highly recommend. Get the salmon tacos. Or anything on the menu. Great service, great food, great place. Buckhead is flooded with people and food, but this place is really cool. You wouldn't expect a really good Mexican chill spot in the mix of all this "upscale food" but you're definitely getting "upscale food" at a reasonable price point at this place.“

“Dinner on a Tuesday night at the Kimball house was wonderful. Loved the decor inside and overall ambience. My party enjoyed everything we ordered especially the entrees, they were all excellent and difficult to pick a favorite between the tenderloin, duck and snapper. The grilled oysters were a little different than the typical Parmesan garlic but they were amazing as well. I think the weakest dish for me was the fried shrimp. The pieces were small and seemed like a lot of breading. We didn't order dessert here and elected to walk over to butter & cream for dessert. Would definitely come back for dinner again!“

“Okiboru is a wonderful gem in Atlanta located near Piedmont hospital. Not only is the service exceptional each time, the food tastes delicious! I have yet to try the tsukemen but have tried all the ramen broths. Each broth has a unique flavor catering towards different taste preferences! As for the sides, would highly recommend the shoyu brussels, ebi karage, and garlic nori fries. Okibiru has strategic floor plan that easily caters for larger parties, couples, and solo diners. Even on a weekend eating by myself I’ve never felt rushed or brushed aside. I love Okiboru and will be back with friends and family many times again in the future!“

“Loved the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and prompt.I love that they let you sample the sweet tea before you order it. They bring out a glass of your beverage so that you can pour your own refill instead of waiting for a waiter to get you a refill on sprite :-)We had a reservation for 9PM. The staff tried to call us to move us up but we were at a symphony and couldn't use our phones. Instead of waiting to hear from us, they automatically moved us to 8:45PM. There is a 15 minute grace period so we got there in the nick of time. That was the only draw back.We were told the kitchen closes at 9:30 so don't make a reservation too close to that time, although there are later times. Maybe that is for the bar.It is cashless and it is on the website and they tell you once you get there as well.Parking is first come first serve but they have reasonable valet. it was only $8My boyfriend had the seafood Piccadilly and mac and cheese and it was so good. I had the chicken and waffles. Be mindful of the chili butter that is on there cause it is hot. It added flavor, just not one I liked. Nothing towards the chef, I just didn't care for it, but my boyfriend smashed it lol. The chicken was seasoned really well. This is definitely a good date night or girls brunch date. Again the staff is so friendly and atmosphere is so cool!“

“We had the pre-fix meal course for a group of 10 and we LOVED our experience! Our server, Daniel M, was so attentive and funny - we had a great time. The building is beautiful, and for a group of 10, they sat us in our own area on the 2nd floor, pretty much private dining and we truly appreciate it for the celebration! :) The food was amazing and plentiful for the $80/person course! “Great space with tons of seating and cool area in the trench with lots of shade. Four stars because they don’t have any good non-alcoholic options. They should offer something like kombucha or non-alcoholic beer for individuals who don’t drink. Other than that, awesome spot, would recommend.“

“Service was exceptional, drinks were exceptional, and staff knowledge was next level. Decor of the restaurant was a 1920's speakeasy theme. “I've never been to a restaurant x3 in one week... but this restaurant was worth it. Service is wonderful, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The last time we were there, we were shown to a seat close to the bar, and the owner spotted our hesitancy and immediately whisked us to a table by the window. That kind of attention/attentiveness you expect in Buckhead, not Stone Mountain. Our server Michael was wonderful as well, very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend!“

I didn’t feel pressured to leave since I was alone taking up a table. “I visited this bar this past weekend for my first time and it was very nice. This place gives a 70s/80s vibe, private room, velvet everything and no windows. It's like a secret gem! Lol they only serve drinks so don't come expecting to eat however right outside the door the hallway leads to a huge cafeteria with alot of food varieties and a huge bar in the middle. JoJos is definitely not for the young crowd if you're looking for a club or turn up spot this is not for you. All the music was 70s and 80s maybe some 90s not much. There is a disco ball with a dance floor which will be packed the later it is in the night however it very nice for a date night. The drinks were good and strong and FYI this is inside a hotel not a stand alone bar. I gave the service 4 stars because there were only 2 bartenders so that made the wait for drinks a little lengthy however it's expected but with the crowd at the time I was there I would have anticipated at least 1 more bartender.Kid-friendliness: No kids 30 or older vibeWheelchair accessibility: No room for wheelchairs“

“Stopped here based on high Yelp reviews - apparently just opened about 5 months ago. Unassuming place, thought we were in the wrong place as it's set back on the corner in front of a strip shopping center with a food depot and family dollar. Once inside, greeted w/great atmosphere and amazing service. The pizza was on point! Wood-fired, great dough, nice toppings. Had the margherita pizza which was very cheesy and delicious! No picture as we ate it and finished it before I took a pic. The house cocktails were so well composed flavor-wise and beautifully presented. Kay-Kay was fabulous - server, bartender and all around hostess! Would definitely recommend. If I lived here, I would be back frequently! The website is also very well done. My favorite thing I ate was the Cavatelli pasta which was made on request with Gluten free pasta. The waiter said they could make any of their pastas with gluten free pasta except the sweet potato tortellini. We also enjoyed the farinata which is like a chickpea "pancake" aka a bread alternative they offer. It was very good! “Ecco Midtown is an upscale restaurant in Midtown, but the prices are a little more reasonable (in terms of serving size to price ratio) than other upscale establishments.Everything I had a chance to sample tasted very good. Also, I like that the servings are not so tiny that they leave you hungry. If you’re a first time visitor, the waitstaff does a great job with food recommendations from the menu. Everything our waitress recommended was on point. Pro-tip: THIS IS A CASHLESS establishment, so bring your credit cards! The ambience is cozy and intimate. The dress code is smart casual. There is valet parking on site, but there are plenty of street parking available on Cypress and surrounding streets (just pay with ParkMobile app).Notable appetizers to try are honey goat cheese and pork belly. The goat cheese and the honey are a great combination. The pork belly is flavored to perfection. I wish it comes in more than 2 small skewers on a small plate. Other notable side dishes are wood roasted shrimp and pan con tomate, both of which are delicious.Notable drinks I’d recommend are the “Long Live the Queen” and “Pink Panther.” Both of which are good. The restaurant ran out of its most popular entree, the papardelle, on the Saturday evening I visited. But nevertheless, the Spaghetti al nero (squid ink noodles in a slightly spicy blue crab sauce) the waitress recommended tasted exquisite. My companions tried the campanelle (white chicken ragu) and loved it, too!Overall, if you’re looking to experience a Midtown restaurant with exquisite tasting foods, great ambience, and friendly service that’s also big bang for your bucks, give Ecco a try.“

“Here is an unoriginal take; Secreto is the perfect name of this place because it is the best kept secret in Brookhaven. I have literally never had a bad meal here and the "Community Hour" menu is such an incredible value that it is borderline criminal. The chef is super creative and the specials are always on point, the only "problem" is that the regular menu is ALSO always on point so it can be hard to decide what to get!
