11 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants Avondale Estates

“I wanted to give this place 3.5 stars but settled on 3 stars because the cons outweigh the pros.

Let me start with the good. This is a shack with parking up front. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is friendly and fast.

Cons. They only have outdoor seating. Most of the seats are stools without backs. There were some flies and a wasp lurking in the patio. Fans were blowing away my napkins. When I paid in cash they rounded my bill up to the next dollar. Never had someone do that before. $34 for a cheesesteak, potatoes, and small drink seems to be overly priced at a take-out spot. It would be more understanding if you could dine-in or had waiter service.

I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak with smashed fried potatoes and a Bourbon Peach Punch. The drink was tasty but really small to cost $10. It looked like a 6oz cup. I would prefer to pay $5 more for a full glass. The smashed fried potatoes were covered in a sauce and some of the best potatoes I have had anywhere. The cheesesteak was made with pork (also a new experience for me) and had plenty of cheese and onions.“

“If you’re looking for a great local spot in Avondale Estates, I highly recommend The Lost Druid Brewery & Distillery. It’s an awesome hangout with a relaxed atmosphere, outstanding craft beer, and elevated pub food. The indoor-outdoor space and covered patio make it a perfect place to catch up with friends or unwind after a long day. The brewery features more than 20 rotating taps, cocktails, and a menu that goes well beyond typical bar fare.

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating—especially Andrew, one of the bartenders, who always makes guests feel welcome. If you stop by, be sure to ask for him.

Whether you’re in the mood for a pretzel and beer cheese, wings, a flatbread, or just a great conversation over a local brew, The Lost Druid is one of Avondale Estates’ hidden gems.“

“First visit! Enjoying precious bites of the quiche that I paid 9 bucks for. Only disappointment was the clerk handed my quiche to me without a fork or napkin. Did not ask if my meal was for here or to go. Then I had to ask for a doggone bag. Amazing pastry. Customer service suspect!“

“My friend Mike aka Puddles Pity Party and his lovely wife Shannon brought us here as they live nearby and raved about the food. I'm glad they did, because it was absolutely spectacular! What a beautiful, vibrant space with incredible food and drinks. I think about the domino empanadas CONSTANTLY and omg I miss them so much. “This place is awesome! Not the biggest fan of the genre of music they play, but I love that they have an identity and they stick to it and shove it down your throat! Beers are fantastic. Big IPA fan and every IPA / pale ale I’ve had here kicks ass. Not the biggest place, but I’ve brought my wife and two kids and we all enjoyed it.“
