“When I first started coming to Refuge it was little more than a food truck and a generator powering industrial-strength fans that forced hot summer air over a beautifully painted mural and some Ikea tables and chairs. This place reflects some of the best of things about Clarkston: small beginnings, but great people, great food, and a good heart. Today I had a Chicken Samusa and probably one of the best cups of espresso I've had anywhere in the world. If you want a treat-yourself experience, get the Almond croissant and a Cortado. You won't be disappointed.Located conveniently in the heart of Clarkston with easy access to 285, a bike trail reaching from Stone Mountain to Avondale, and much more, this little spot should be at the top of your list of must-experience places. Grab a cup of coffee and a good conversation, and stay for lunch at one of the many amazing restaurants that are just a short walk away!“
“Now this is a great spot. Great atmosphere, good food, fast service, fair prices, and a great time for all who enter. I will definitely come back and you should stop by too. The only downside I could find is it is a cigar bar so if you don't like smoke you probably wouldn't enjoy as much as I did. I was here for karaoke night (Sunday) and everyone was having a blast. I look forward to my next visit. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Definitely a much better spot than that awful bar Eastside Station(oh and it doesn't cost 7 effin dollars just to get in). Don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!“
“The ice cream is sooo good! I'm lactose intolerant so I've had to get the dairy free options more often than not. Even those are really good too! For regular ice cream, they have a lot of different flavors to choose from. The staff has been friendly every time I've visited.“
“The Chicago dog isn't a legit shytown dog. However ... The sport peppers are real, they are not easy to get. And the thing is massive and delicious. Eat it. Bacon cheese fries? Obviously. The burgers are so good, they'll lower your IQ.“
“First time here, we came for lunch on a Sunday. We started with Chicharrones. They were fresh and well seasoned. We ordered the Pitmaster platter to share. They were out of turkey so we subbed xtra brisket. Meat was lukewarm and felt like “leftovers” vibe. Ribs were dry. Pulled pork, sausage, wings and brisket (if warmer) were the best. For the sides, they were out of the jalapeño creamed corn and collard greens so we got the coleslaw, green beans, Mac, and potato salad. These sides were alright. Coleslaw was the best imo. Green beans tasted canned and lacked flavor. Potato salad had too much mayo and lacked flavor. Mac lacked flavor and when heated up later was very oily. There were a variety of sauces, Alabama (liked), house (liked) Red chilli pepper (liked- kind of a spicier sriracha), Hot mustard (too vinegary for me)I’d go back to try other menu items but not really the best first impression for me.“
“Best brewery I have ever been to. Amazing servers/bartenders. Definitely a 100/10. Would not choose anywhere else but Tucker Brewing Company. Staff is the best to a solid T. They are respectful, fast and amazing customer service. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Bring your cats, bring your dogs, if you have a pet squirrel, bring em. Endless choices on Beer but highly recommend the Southern Heaven Hefeweizen. Very crisp with a hint of banana aftertaste.“
“1st time here as we held an alumni chapter meeting/fellowship. Very quaint and great service. I had the veggie omelet and house potatoes. Very filling. I'm not in Stone Mountain as often so I will have to come back and try the other items on menu.“
“This is our "Cheers". This time we got wings (it has been a long time since we've had the wings) and they were cooked perfectly and oh so delicious.Summit's has some of the best wings in the area. Just remember to order them extra crispy.“
“** UPDATE: The owner (John) left his contact info, offered to provide a new order. He was kind enough to hand deliver an entire slab, to me!Much appreciated, John!Thank you ?? for making it right!***Ordered via DoorDash … rec’d Burnt to a crisp rib order. You should be ashamed to send such an order to anyone especially to your delivery customers who are unable to have any recourse or return the inedible meal????“
“I happened to see this location looking for something else, so many ppl were pulling up on this place so I tried it! I ordered the Grill Tender Sandwich combo and the 5 pc tender combo. No pic of tenders due to put in fridge and forgot. You have to order online and not a place that you can eat in.Parking: Its in a plaza“
“I just want to say thank you to Arejanna I received an ice I thought I was going to like but due to being pregnant my baby said otherwise. She was very professional with talking to her manager about switching my ice cream for me unlike her other coworker. I thank her for her good customer service and helping me not waste any money. I said I would keep the one I had and she insisted on speaking to the manager for me. 10/10 I’ll be back again just for her. Thank you Arejanna“
“We discovered this great gem on our last visit to GA. We went every day of our visit and twice a day once or twice. We enjoyed a lavender vanilla latte with oat milk. Delish! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and obviously has a passion for coffee. We met the owner and her daughter who were kind and care about their community. They sell products for other small businesses and those products were prominently placed in the front of the store. We will definitely be going back when in Conyers Georgia again!“
“So good! Love the atmosphere and getting to sit outside and hang out eating ice cream. They make their waffle cones in-house along with their ice cream! I recommend the birthday cake flavor, it’s the best I’ve ever had (and my husband agrees)! The double chocolate chunk is also amazing. Love love love. You won’t regret taking a chance on this place. :)“
“The Whistle Post food is amazing. Mom really puts alot of love into the food. I had buffalo shrimp with fries, a salad, & pizza with shrimp, olives, onions, & green peppers on it. All the food was wonderful. Great food & great service.“
“They do have good food and serviceThe part I don’t like is that they charge for everything. Lemon Pepper, wet wings. If you using a card that’s a fee also. If you go just pay attention to the pricing. The menu say one thing but you get charged another price. I don’t go as much anymore. Touch down wings are pretty ok and much cheaper.“
