“We were there yesterday for our anniversary, the team made a table for 6 available for us at short notice, the atmosphere is wonderful- low-key classy, Alexis was terrific, her attention to detail with our orders was much appreciated. The food is excellent , i recommend the Celine Dijon burger! I was there for the Old Fashioned and everything else was a bonus. The staff are lovely. Writing Happy Anniversary on our dessert place was a really sweet touch 🥰“

“This was our first time here. We were traveling and just saw it and went inside . They were packed so we figured the food was good. Wow you weren’t kidding! I ordered tomato soup and shared some of my husband’s chicken parmesan. They brought us delicious garlic bread and served it with some kind of sauce. Food and service was excellent.“

“Never in my thousands of days did I dream I could get a perfectly laminated and baked croissant outside of Europe, NYC, or a specialty bakery, but I did just that 15 minutes ago here. Sorry no photo; I was done savoring every crumb before I even thought about getting out my phone. The care and pride that they have in service and quality here is something you just don’t see today. Honestly, I haven’t seen it in 20 years at most coffee shops, and I was a well-trained barista and cook back then. This place is special. Keep it alive, keep it well funded, and just keep it going! (Literally breathing in the parchment paper my pastry came wrapped in. Mythical.)“

“My experience started off rocky, I was sat but Noone ever came to greet me, even though there were tables being actively served all around me. Luckily a seat opened up at the bar so I moved over there, where the bartender Daniel did a great job! I was there to enjoy a bite to eat while watching the game and even as closing approached I never felt rushed.“

“Because the kids that are taking the orders are always more than willing to help you if you just don’t know exactly what flavor you want. They’ll recommend one and you try it and then you’re hooked on that one for a while. Because with a personal interaction, you’re not just sitting at a box looking at a menu thinking oh I wonder what this and this would be like together. They tell you some of their favorite flavors and you can change it up however you want and again you’re interacting with a human not a box.“

“We were looking for something casual, that wasn't fast food, after running a 5k. We learned of the Dacula Diner and gave it a shot. They serve breakfast all day and have an excellent lunch/ dinner menu available, as well. I got a classic breakfast platter, my daughter got French with lots of add-ins, my grandson had the kid's chicken fingers. Everything was fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try more things from their menu.“

“Not only 100% Halal, the food is flavorful and menu has vast options. We usually grab orders To Go by calling in ahead of time, maybe 30-45min in advance. The kids love to get the Chopped Cheese, Philly Cheesesteak and Smash Burger Combos as they make some delicious fries. The platter lamb & chicken over rice is mouthwatering. I’m just glad I have a great American Halal place near the house and if anyone comes to the house with last minute notice, can grab variety of food from Baba’s.“

“True authentic New York pizza. ( I know because I've had NYC pizza in NYC before) It was very light and I did not feel stuffed. I was greeted with a warm smile and it felt very inviting. I will definitely go back. It was my first time and worth it.

“Im literally still in here drinking my coffee. Well waiting for my coffee lol. Though I had to review right away. The atmosphere is amazing in here! The staff is super friendly. The Vibez are just stellar. I sometimes suffer from heavy anxiety and this place literally helps me calm down.

“Went in for the first time today. Had my little girls with me. We each got something different. One daughter had the Chicken Cesar, the other had a BLT. I had a village burger with chili cheese fries. The food was delicious. The service was excellent with everyone being very polite. If I had to leave one negative about the place I would say the cups ain’t big enough lol.“

“Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“

“Came here on a Thursday night with my family and was pleasantly surprised by our food and service! Madison was an amazing server; very upbeat and was able to make my moody 13 year old sister laugh (we never thought we’d see the day!). I ordered a caesar salad as an appetizer and the shrimp ‘n grits as my main… 10/10!!! Can’t wait to come back when we can get my sister out of the house again!“
