“This is a tasty Korean place in Chamblee. The A1 and B1 combo plates are a great value, and so satisfying. Our kids were thrilled to see Aloe Vera drinks on the menu, and of course, Sac Sac Grape! Our food was ready quickly, and the Kimbap, Gimmari, Beef Bulgogi, and Gochoo Chicken were all delicious.“
“We stumbled across this ice cream place by driving by during a visit from out of town. Little did we know they were 1 minute away from closing - we got to the window and realized that it was 1 minute from closing so we were just going to leave (never want to be "those" people) - The lady inside insisted on serving us and told us that it was no problem at all. We chatted while she was scooping our ice cream and learned that she was the owner here and has been in business many years. Our ice cream was SO good and priced well! We will definitely back during our next visit to Chamblee/ATL!“
“Tasty food and friendly staff. On a whim, I wanted to try it out. I bought 3 different types of bowls for the family. It was good. I had the Thai spicy and sweet Chilli. Love the customization while still adhering to specific flavor type. Sweet potato chips were also not overly crunchy and tastes really good. Will try out another bowl next time. I wish I lived closer. They would be my go to lunch if I ever have to order take out. Also, I ordered online, so it was nice to simply go through the drive thru and pick it up.“
“This place is special because, you'll be treated as very nice important. Owner maintained grocery shop makes a big difference in this way. Their fish n meat are on the roll. Mostly fresh & of from recent supply. In fact, You won't get anything if you don't visit their store on or within couple of days of their meat supply arrival. Last week I didn't get any chicken. Bought 8 items of fish instead. Ruhu, Barramundi, Carp, Walking Catfish, Mudfish, & so on. Amongst all, the CARP was exceptional. Perfect taste & flavor like it should be (Deshi). Most importantly, found most of the fish were packed on the year of 2023 & the oldest ones found dated as late 2022.Rahmania Halal Meat & Grocery is a truly a superstar in Indian, Bangladeshi & Asian Halal Grocery market competition .Cons:• Sometimes you'll get some bad smell due to meat & fish cutting unit is in the same premises.• If you order over phone, make sure to check your items. They're often so busy that your item could be handed over to another person & you may get his/hers.• Also touch the poly-bag with your palm, if it's not cold or frozen inside, you better open your bag & check the meat & fish before reaching home & find rotten smell into them. Due to high volume of their meat demand on the day of supply arrival, they get a lot of phone calls & as they accept everyone's request, my request of keeping half box of leg & thigh to pickup after cleanup was granted as well. But problem found, when I arrived at home & found rotten smell. After the cleanup, they forgot to put it in the freezer because of their busy day with customers.Pros: They immediately took action. Mr. Shamim, one of their business partners, didn't speak up much about the exchange or giving me a new half bag of baby chicken but their another partner at the cash register, he responded quickly & told him to compensate me with the similar quantity chicken legs & thighs. But I didn't except it as of yet, since it was my fault too! I didn't check inside the bag & even feeling the meat being at the room temperature, didn't open the bag!“
“I’ve been coming here since it opened. Went today craving the wings only to find out they weren’t on the menu. So I ordered tater tots and mac and cheese. The tater tots were great and amazing fried food. But dear god. The Mac and cheese could not have been more of a dumpster fire. Trying to cover up the runny bland sauce by adding waaaayyy too much garlic is not the answer. Please don’t serve this ever. Like ever.“
“Playa Bowl's customer service is unmatched, thanks to Luz's warm welcome and personalized attention. She remembers my order like clockwork, making each visit feel special. With consistent quality and exceptional service, it's no wonder I'm a weekly regular. Playa Bowl never disappoints, both in taste and in hospitality.“
“This is real deal Georgia BBQ. The Brunswick stew is what Brunswick stew is supposed to be. The Cole slaw is perfect. Collards are delicious. Pulled Pork and sauce are exactly what I'm looking for. Can't wait to try the other sides. This is what I always want from BBQ as a Georgia boy growing up on hole in the wall barbeque spots deep in the country. My new bbq spot. So happy.“
“Food and drinks were super tasty! Loved the cocktails themed for the currently musical (Six) playing at the Fox Theater down the street, especially the Three, Two, One which the bartender said she recently invented (so neat)! Both bartenders were super friendly and accommodating :) loved and recommend!“
“We have been searching for great Thai food since moving to Atlanta from the DMV. TydeTate Kitchen met that need and more! Such great tasting food and each dish is distinctly different from the other in flavor profile. So very good and amazing customer service. We will be back very soon!“
“We celebrated our 34th anniversary by returning to the restaurant where we dined on our wedding night, now The Chastain. Not only was the food superb, the staff was amazing and made sure our evening was very special. It was the best dining experience I can ever remember.“
“So delicious! Came on a Wednesday night and it was pretty full. The restaurant is small and has limited seating, but the atmosphere is cozy. They do have 1hr free parking in a garage, you pay first then use a code. Service was good, there was only one guy working at the front and he was struggling because it was so busy. I feel like there should’ve been at least two people working. The food was soo good. My faves were the lamb cumin noodles and egg and tomato noodles.“
“Lillie was an amazing hostess (with the mostest)! She guided us to the beer that best fit our needs. This place is a hidden gem ? and you definitely need to check it out. Oh and if you’re looking for a basic beer (stop judging) Fiesta is delicious!“
“Another home run for us regarding our dining experience at a mano! This neighborhood gem is definitely our “Cheers”! We brought more friends who had never been to a mano before. Such a wonderful evening thanks to our server, Matt, who was on top of his game so to speak. However, I understand that Matt is always on top of his game! Thanks again to Sasha, Lucy, and Bethany for making us feel incredibly welcome and valued. Our friends said they would definitely be back!“
“No other ice cream shop in Atlanta can touch this one. The absolute best quality, BY A MILE!The people who work here are always nice and kind and that makes it even better. It's not the type of place that you go to check out once. It's the place where you will automatically become a regular.Huge shout-out to Michael Jackson. The world should know about him. Give him his flowers.“
“The food is generally excellent - lots of farm to table and seasonal options. Beer is made on site and top notch, with a few guest taps on rotation as well. Service is always friendly and quick -- nice patio / beer garden area for when the weather is nice. One of the best overall spots in Atlanta for food+drinks.“
“Calaveritas never disappoints!! Everything I’ve ever tried from them has been amazing. This time we got the carne asada tacos, quesadillas and chips & queso. Everything was delicious. It was the first time I’d tried the queso and it was so good. Also their new spot is so cute and their staff is always so friendly and helpful.“
“I hosted my Cancerversary and breast cancer survivor’s/ thrivers and support event at Just Add Honey Tea Co this past Saturday and it was amazing. The staff, our “ParTea” host were awesome and knows tea well. We were educated on a tea experience. My guest and I had a great time- laughed, fellowship and shared testimonies. I would recommend this establishment for sure. It’s now my go-to place for self care and zen.“
“From the moment I made my reservation, The Optimist in Atlanta promised a distinctive dining adventure, and oh boy, did they deliver! Steering clear of the usual praise for décor, this review highlights the exceptional aspects that truly make The Optimist a must-visit destination.First off, the service here isn't just good; it's clairvoyant. The staff anticipated needs I didn't know I had, from detailed explanations of dish ingredients to personalized recommendations tailored to my taste preferences. Their timing was impeccable, ensuring a seamless flow from course to course without ever feeling rushed. Now, let’s talk about the culinary journey. The menu, inspired by sea fare, offers a refreshing twist on classic seafood dishes. The smoked oysters are a revelation—served with a mignonette that features a hint of apple, which beautifully complements the smokiness. And the main event, the whole roasted fish, is a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor, showcasing the chef’s deft touch and respect for high-quality ingredients. Not to be outdone, the beverage selection at The Optimist is a treasure chest of delights. The cocktail list is inventive, featuring sea-inspired twists on classic drinks, like the "Saltwater Taffy Old Fashioned," which is as whimsical as it is delicious. The wine list is equally impressive, with thoughtful pairings that elevate the fish dishes to new heights. In summary, The Optimist isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a voyage that delights and surprises with its service, menu creativity, and attention to detail. It’s a place where every visit promises new discoveries, making it clear why this gem is often touted as one of the best seafood experiences in Atlanta.“
“Feel good atmosphere and loved the food and service! Thomas is awesome and so personable which makes you feel like you want to spend all day there. The plantain chips and queso is a delicious twist! My husband and I enjoyed the Cuban and guava cheesecake too! Cuban is one of, if not THE best, we’ve had. We have ventured all over the world and lived in different countries so we aren’t bluffing. We got the Grilled Red Snapper To-Go for my cousin and she said it was amazing! Seems like the type of place where anything you order will be tasty!“
“Charming place with great food! Friendly service, loved the outdoor seating. We had the lemon ricotta hotcakes (very yummy, remember that are hotcakes not pancakes, so they’re kind of small), a bagel breakfast sandwich which was loaded with Yummies, and the usual, which looked amazing. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for something or someplace with lots of personality.“
“Very tasty tostada!!! Good roasted tomato salsa with thick crispy chips. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food! The setup is outdoors and family friendly with an area for connect 4 and space to play with a ball. It's also dog friendly!Canopies set up with tables and chairs or picnic tables. There are high chairs for little dinners. It's a place for everyone...Order, pay and take your number to your choice of table. The area is set down from the level of the street so kids can run around without getting into traffic too easily.“
“We love Little Rey!! We worked with Baleigh from LR when planning our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding weekend, and we had such a great experience!! Their team was very easy to communicate with, and they offer a third party delivery service so we were able to have our food delivered/set up at our venue stress free! Our rehearsal dinner was at a local brewery, so their delicious tacos were perfect fit for the event. We had SO many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was-- the food was very fresh and tasty and such a beautiful display! We would highly recommend and are so thankful for their help in making our event so special!“
“We love having Waller’s Coffee Shop in our community. It’s a place to grab a cup of coffee with friends, catch some great live music & a cold beer. He has live shows from locals as well as traveling bands. The Outerspace & the hiking trails to the creek is an amazing space to enjoy the sights & sounds of nature. Waller’s even has a small gift shop, a free library & tons of board games! What a true gem. Thanks Jason & staff for all that you do! We love Waller’s!“
“This place is incredible. Came here for dinner when they first opened and it's still consistent with the output of the lunch food.Had the salad - best Caesar salad ever.Had the noodles - legit spicy.Go for lunch and you won't be disappointed.“
“Yes it's that good.I've been to many places around the world and tried a lot of options and that's one of the best ones I ever had !There is a reason why people are waiting in line !I went with very dark and with fluffernutter pie scoops. Both were excellent! The chocolate option was very dense rich and full of flavor. The other one was of a strong peanut butter taste but a very creamy and soft consistency.Recommend !“
“HYGF is amazing! I made sure to visit recently when I was in Atlanta and oh my, they did not disappoint. Expect to wait in line if you go on a weekend like I did. The line starts prior to them opening. They only let a couple people in at a time to ensure a great experience for everyone which I truly appreciate. Everything we tried was perfection. I’ve been GF for 10+ years and I’ll say their biscuit is the real deal- a perfect southern “buttermilk” style biscuit. If you’re on the fence about trying them, GO!“
“Visiting my daughter in midtown. She took me there for lunch. Let me just say the food was unbelievable! So good! The outside patio was just perfect!! The waitress could not have been any sweeter and helpful than she was. Already made plans to go back next time I visit my daughter.“
“I had driven by this restaurant many times for years and was always curious about it. I finally made the decision to try it out. It looks like they take reservations but since I went on a Tuesday night I decided to take my chances and not make a reservation. We were able to get a table for 2 just fine with no wait. The service here is higher end so it definitely added to the experience. I was intrigued by their Table D' Hote option which was a pre-fixed menu for 2 with 3 courses at $110. Decided not to go for it, but think I will try that next time. Ended up ordering the classic chicken wienerschnitzel, traditional sauerbraten, Kurt's favorite, and banana foster. Ended up loving everything except the wienerschnitzel. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't my favorite since I've had better elsewhere. The European food here is elevated in flavors such as the red cabbage braised in red wine. I've had a lot of red cabbage before but not like that. Could eat that all day. The Hungarian goulash with the spatzle was delicious. And the banana foster was made tableside by Kurt himself which I thought was a nice touch. They even had a enomatic wine bar where you can sample different wines! Walking in the restaurant took me back to Central Europe. It made me think of all the restaurants I dined at in Slovakia and Hungary with relatives enjoying each other's company over a nice meal. It was elegant and made for a nice date night. Everyone dining just seemed happy to be there. I look forward to coming back with my in laws when they visit.“
“Came back for the 2nd time, and this restaurant never fails to impress me. Legit thai food, cozy vibes, and staff are amazing!!!Located right next to Lindbergh Marta Station so it is very convenient to commute for those who dont have personal vehicle“
“We loved this place! They have many types of pizza but the gluten free pizza was our absolute favorite. Also love the vintage Pizza Hut decor. The place reminds me of pizzerias in Canada. They have lots of great options which also include things for vegan and gluten free folks.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten freeKid-friendliness: They even have a vintage arcade in the back.“
“Great space with tons of seating and cool area in the trench with lots of shade. Four stars because they don’t have any good non-alcoholic options. They should offer something like kombucha or non-alcoholic beer for individuals who don’t drink. Other than that, awesome spot, would recommend.“
“I’m a Colombian arepa expert, and as soon as we walked in we were received with great costumer service. Their arepas were so good we are definitely coming back and telling all my Colombian friends. I ordered the shredded chicken with avocado and spinach, for my side it was kale. I am highly impressed by Phat Yucca.“
“Great stay at this hotel! The ambience at this hotel fit perfectly for the trip. I would recommend this hotel before any other in downtown Atlanta.Food & drinks: The rooftop bar is amazing with beautiful views. The drinks are strong and decently priced! I found the best bartender, Connor, up here who helped with all my needs and gave me great recommendations for Atlanta and was a kind person to conversate with!“
“First time here and everything was just AMAZING!! The food!!! So tasty!! Everything we got was delicious and arrived to our table super fast! The drinks were good and strong. The service was impeccable…our waitress Isa was so sweet and attentive. Definitely will be coming back…this may be my new fave midtown spot!“
“This restaurant is a neighborhood gem in Roswell. Lively atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and the food was pretty amazing. The steak with the peppercorn sauce was superb. My friend the red snapper dish was delicious as well. Right behind the restaurant, there is a valet parking so you dont have to drive around looking for one. Highly recommended!“
“Every time I come here I leave the night drunk and full of laughs, haha. I love their wide selection of beer & seltzer options, and their bartenders are amazing and always easy to talk to! We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and they were extremely accommodating!! We had about 15 people and were able to reserve one of their private rooms. Their on-site food vendor was A-MAZING and definitely went above and beyond both in food and customer service. 1000/10 would recommend this place whether you are just wanting to hang with a few friends or bringing people together for a celebration!“
“I went to this establishment for the first time to try the $35 3 course menu that happens on Mondays. JT was my server and he was the best! I had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were very flavor. JT recommended I try the fried chicken for my entree and it did not disappoint. The chicken portion was huge and the mac and cheese was my side and was also tasty. For dessert, had the Nanner pudding and was obsessed! It wasn’t overly sweet and was very well made. Will definitely return to try more!Parking is a small lot in the back of the building and is valet…but there is paid parking in the vicinity“
“This was the BEST!! Oh my goodness, and our server Jalissa made our visit that much better. I had the noodle salad, but I did salmon instead of the steak. We also had the brussels, peppers, and the fries appetizers; to be honest, I just don't think anything here is bad. All of the drinks were also super customizable, and super refreshing. It was an amazing stop!“
“We were at City Winery for the MacMacAnally show last night (he was great!). Our waiter was named Andrew, and he did a fantastic job throughout the evening. He anticipated our needs, was very friendly and kind; you just don't see that thing very much these days. We really appreciated him and all of his efforts! Thank you Andrew!!“
“Perfect local spot for lamb chops, live music, and a lively dining scene. The tapas are generously portioned (for tapas). The green beans were great. The chef made them sautéed vs fried for me and I would suggest they make them a permanent addition to menu. The lamb chops are why I would come back again and again. $15 for two $7 for each additional chop.I also really enjoyed the most traditional tapas - the shrimp. This was the one that actually made me feel like this was a true Spanish spot.Loud and lovely - I left full and happy.Vegetarian options: Some of these seem that they might be but it is unclear if they actually are.Dietary restrictions: I did great on keto there. High likelihood of cross contamination though.Parking: This place is buried in the super far back of a parking lot. If you think you have gone too far. Keep going.Kid-friendliness: If they like Spanish food and love music they will love this.Wheelchair accessibility: This is ok on the general area. Would be more challenging on the enclosed patio. Also getting to the restrooms may be challenging“
“Atlanta Pizza Truck was the biggest hit at our new years eve wedding! We wanted something different than traditional wedding food and they made our wedding dinner AMAZING! Everyone is so beyond nice (shout out to Sofia!). The pizza is so delicious and everyone loved it! We had a little hiccup with the original way we were going to do our food (we had originally planned to have the blue truck but when we had really bad weather last December and some pipes issues, it caused some damage to the truck right before our date. Stupid cold weather haha!) but Sofia’s prompt response and problem solving was great and they made everything work out beautifully and perfectly as if nothing had happened :)! Absolutely will be using them again at my future events!“
“Loved the pizza at this place! The cheesepizza was quite flavorful and delicious and their ranch is to die for. We also had their homegrown pizza & garlic white pizza which was also pretty flavorful. All slices came piping hot.The service is quick and nice and they have plenty of spots to sit outside and some inside! I highly recommend and I will be back!!Parking is a little hard to find, if you don’t find street parking there is a parking garage that charges $8.50 for two hours of parking.“
“Absolutely fantastic spot! Creative and delectable dishes at surprisingly affordable prices, and delicious craft cocktails served up in an intimate environment. If I have one complaint, it's their seating policy. They don't take reservations and they don't have a hostess, so when you show up, you're competing with others for the next available table. It's...suboptimal. Nonetheless, definitely worth checking this place out. I'll certainly be back, but probably on a week night to avoid fighting fellow patrons for a table.“
“So we came here for brunch a couple weeks ago, a girls day out. We started with the shrimp, crispy and perfectly seasoned with a wonderful sauce that balanced sweet and spicy flavors just right. Let me tell you the pancakes were so amazing we dreamed about them and returned to make sure they were not a fluke, and fam they did not disappoint. These pancakes are so light and fluffy. They come with a caramel syrup, and a whipped orange mascarpone with fresh fruit. Amazing doesn’t even cover it. I also had the crab cake Benedict, they know how to properly poach an egg it was warm and liquid, perfect. Service was great both times. The kitchen was clean and because this is a little known gem there wasn’t a wait. Plus they offer valet and validate self parking.“
“Hey Atlanta! Let's go to Yay Beignet for light and fluffy beignets, Ethiopia’s Finest Gourmet Coffee, and breakfast right on the Beltline! I elevated my beignet experience with their signature strawberry dipping sauces. They also have chocolate. Yay Beignet has a full breakfast menu, lunch and dinner, all made fresh to order. What I tried: : Beignets with Signature strawberry dipping sauce Old School Hot Link Biscuit Breakfast Burrito Yay Beignet, ‘where Bourbon Street meets the Atlanta Beltline’ Yay Beignet : @yay_beignet 660 Irwin St NE, Atlanta, GA 30312 Have you had beignets before?“
“Menu amazing. Only had a beef arepa. Was pretty good, but was not given what I ordered. After eating and thinking it wasn't as flavorful as I was expecting, I overheard someone asking about the Thai sauce and remembered my Arepa was supposed to have it. I asked the mature lady that appeared to be perhaps managing the front? if they normally put it on the Arepa or on the side. She said we don't put it on any more. I said but that is why I ordered it. She said you could have asked for it! I said they should let people know, she said instead of changing all our menus they can just get it on the side if they ask for it. No apologies. Justifications only. All the other staff were wonderful so don't let that bother you too much. Maybe ask if everything is correct on your choic s tho! Then, I left my purse on the chair. Called back and nice young person assure me they had it. Came to claim it, another server went back to look for it behind counter and in back. The aforementioned lady pointed to the shelf in a window...outside the counter, in the area people can hang out! Just sitting there out in the open for anyone to open or take! So I just had to share. SMH. I still have 4 stars because everyone else was great. But, if an item is different than the menu, you tell the customer. EVERY SINGLE TIME. No excuses.“
“This place is great. It’s in Atlanta. Staple where you can put church choir ropes on when you go. On certain days they have drag and karaoke. When you go on the weekends it’s a great place to dance. They also have picnic tables outside. This is a great place to be casual but also have a great time.“
“My wife and I have been going here since they opened. The owners are great and do a great job keeping the store clean as well. I’ve yet to get anything but great customer service too. I absolutely recommend trying the ice cream sandwiches. They have different flavors each day and a ton of different ice cream sandwiches. I highly recommend trying.“
“This is my favorite place to go for live music on a Sat night. The performers are fabulous and the vibe of the place is cool. The food is good as well as a nice selection of wines and coffee drinks. The owner, Sophie, makes you feel welcome. Ground and Pound is more than a coffee house it’s a cool lil club. LOVE IT!!“
“Beer is consistently exceptionally good, usually with a decent variety of choices. Space is small and cozy, and open to the outside. Branded disc golf equipment available for purchases, and there's some used equipment and a practice basket set up in the parking lot. Also a grassy/tree'd outdoor seating area. One of my favorite breweries in Atlanta (if not my favorite).“
