“I was pleasantly surprised to see Mushi Ni at Chattahoochee Food Works. I regularly ordered from them when they were at their East Atlanta location. They didn't disappoint this visit. As a vegetarian it can be difficult to find well prepared tofu, but Mushi Ni does it well. I like that there are several vegetarian options and I appreciated the friendly staff. If you are a vegetarian this is a must try.“

The beef bulgogi tacos were outstanding. Perfectly balanced, not too spicy and not too saucy. The grilled chicken and crispy chicken tacos with chipotle sauce were standouts too.
But let's talk about the cabbage and cucumber kimchi. If there's a prison sentence for eating too much of it, I'm serving life without parole.

“Best spot for kimchi in the Atlanta metro, and an absolute joy to visit!!! I come here mainly for the excellent cabbage kimchi, and every time I come in the owner greets me warmly and offers me a free rice cake. Large selection of kimchi, seasoned vegetables and fish, and rice cakes. I'm not Korean so most of this is unfamiliar to me, but I love getting and trying new things every time I go. If you bring back your empty jar, the owner will recycle it and give you a small discount on your next purchase. I recommend this place to everyone I know who likes kimchi or Korean food generally.“

Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. “I can’t say enough good things about La Moon in Virginia-Highland! I felt truly welcomed. My server, Shaanika, was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and kind. I started with the Butterfly Kiss cocktail, the garlic green beans, DONT SLEEP ON THE GREEN BEANS, they came highly recommended and I’m so glad I ordered them. So good!!! I also ordered La Moon wings, the ginger fish (incredible) and the lump crab fried rice (great portion! More than enough I brought some home for another dinner! I ended the meal with the La Moon La Mai cocktail, it was my favorite. You can tell they truly cherish their customers, they really spend time with regulars and make you feel special. But one day I was craving Chinese takeout and I decided to get it delivered through DoorDash (I know super risky, especially with all the fees) I ordered the amazing chicken and the black pepper chicken lo main egg drop soup And eggrolls and spring rolls . To my surprise, the food was nice and hot and delicious ! So since then, I’ve been going to pick it up myself and they never disappoint (also a lot cheaper) . “We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

We are lucky that it’s walking distance so we’ll walk over with the dogs and one of us will sit outside with them while the other orders, and they always give us water for the Dogs. Everything from their soups, and appetizers to the rolls are worth trying. We typically wind up with enough left over to have a snack the next day too!“
