“We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The ambiance is nice and it is not the usual Korean cafe vibe that you may find on Buford highway but more of an upscale setting, with surprisingly traditional Korean dishes. We had the ojingo bokem, some spicy noodles, and the best seafood pancake we have ever had. It was thick and cooked crispy with plenty of seafood! I ordered an old fashioned that was pretty good as well. The service was prompt and friendly. We arrived an hour before their closing time and they were kind and did not rush us We will definitely be back. Go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.“

“I highly recommend Poke Fresh! The people that work here are so nice and welcoming, the food is consistently delicious, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Some details... I found this place right before or early on in the pandemic after looking for a poke place near our new house. From my first visit, I was very impressed and excited to find a place that I liked. I had tried a few others nearby that weren't bad but nothing special. Poke Fresh was delicious - everything tasted fresh - and I liked how they mixed everything together (something that my old poke place did not do well). What surprised me even more was what happened on my subsequent visits. The staff remembered my order and would chat with me as if I had been coming here for years. Cut to three years later and this still applies! I come here a few times a month and every time they are very welcoming - they recognize me, make my order, and remember conversations we've had before. When my husband picks up poke for me, he just tells them it's for me and they make my order just as I like it! oI've been so happy with finding this place and have recommended it to all my friends that like poke. For reference, my usual order is a medium poke bowl with white rice, half raw tuna, and half spicy tuna, green and red onions, cilantro, carrots, ponzu and oozu sauce, and topped with sesame seeds. “Food was amazing! The curry noodles bowl with ribs was amazing! Hubby had the Grandma’s bbq plate. Kids ate teriyaki noodles and fried chicken nuggets with fried wontons, delicious! They don’t have a traditional kids meal but the kiddos enjoyed their meals and ours as well. A must try! We just ate off of each others plates. Everything was good.“

“First time at Monkey68 and it did not disappoint. Martinis were excellent size, cold and full (which doesn't always happen), the tuna and salmon tartare was fantastic, calamari was crispy but not chewy with a great dipping sauce and our sushi rolls were excellent. Don't recall the names of the rolls ordered but both had very fresh sushi and were very tasty... See pictures. The one with the cucumber wrap instead of rice was over the top, one of the best I've had.We found this restaurant as it was a very nice day and wanted sushi while sitting outside AND we didn't want to sit in a parking lot like most sushi places have. It was a very nice patio and we thoroughly enjoyed and got the mold perfectly. Service was also excellent. We will be back.“

“I've been to this place a few times, but WOW! I cannot believe how amazing this place has become. This is now my go to-to. They recently added sushi to the menu, and they are so kind to do a non spicy version of the spicy Hamachi roll for me. Hamachi is my favorite fish, but I cannot have spicy. They are so accommodating, and the miso soup is the best I've had. The portion sizes have increased greatly over the last month, and it's worth every penny. The meal is the size of 2 heads!! Overall, the setting is lovely and comfortable, the people are nice and accommodating (even when busy!) and the food is top tier now. The way they've revamped everything is a huge success, and I'll be coming here often.“

“Went by for lunch today with a friend. I always order to-go from here, but decided to stop by. Their lunch Bento Boxes are so much food. Really enjoyed everything with the fried dumplings, California rolls, Miso Soup and my teriyaki steak. My friend got the Salmon Bento Box and was really delicious as well.Loved watching all the chefs here cooking all the onions and dishes. So much flavor all around, I will keep coming back for sure. “I got the grilled spicy chicken with brown rice and sweet fries. The fries were the best part. The chicken was ok. It was more like spicy Buffalo which isn’t my personal favorite, but besides the Buffalo taste the chicken was juicy and good flavoring.“
