Our first visit to Tomo was remarkable. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious, with outstanding quality throughout every dish. Our server May was pleasant and attentive; she was exceptionally knowledgeable, and her recommendations impressed us. The welcoming energy from everyone felt rare and valuable in Atlanta. Our first visit was so favorable that we returned two days later. The bartender, Joe, was phenomenal.

Tomo is an amazing restaurant with fresh, authentic Japanese cuisine. The food tastes fresh and is prepared to each guest's liking. Specific menu items include the lobster toban yaki, A5 wagyu nigiri, king salmon and sea bass nigiri (very buttery), the 24k roll (the best roll ever), Katsu with a mangoy flavored sauce, Kaki fried, shrimp sumai, the 98 degrees roll, Wagyu with rice, salad, and crispy asparagus. The matcha tiramisu is smooth with a balanced earthy taste, and the Ube sorbet is yummy. Drinks are refreshing and strong. The atmosphere is classy but not uptight, and the patio is a nice spot. Service is exceptional; servers give great recommendations, are kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Guests are never rushed. This restaurant is listed on the Atlanta Michelin Guide and is a top 10 spot.
