The food was so good. Excited to go back time and time again. The interior was kind of dirty/dusty as were the drinking glasses but it didn’t affect the taste of the food.

Very sad to see Rising Son closing. I’ve been here more times than I can count over the past 10(!!!) years. Always a great atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. Their biscuits and homemade jam/preserves are to die for.

I’m devastated Rising Sob is closing 😭 The food is unreal. The service is great. The bartender is always fantastic, and the vibes are unmatched. I can’t imagine Avondale is going to be able to replace this gem any time soon. What a loss for our community!
