“Stopped in today for the first time and the place was Joplin which I expect is normal on a Saturday morning. I ordered Hashed Out and it was pretty good, and my boyfriend ordered the Kickstart breakfast. I also had a side of Fried Green Tomatoes. The FGTs were some of the best that I ever had and I would rate those 5 Stars…I will say that I felt the prices were pretty high, and that will prevent me from going back. $7 for 4 slices of FGT, $16 for Hashed Out and I think $14 for the Kickstart and then $7 for the waffle. The drink menu looked good, but we stuck with coffee and water.“

“JenChan’s is one of my favorite restaurants! The food and cocktails are delicious. I have not had a dish there that I didn’t love. The margarita pizza, rice bowls, and ginger margaritas are my favorites! Not only is the food amazing, the service and employees are absolutely wonderful. A 10/10 must try restaurant!“

Even when there is a mishap with your food (which can happen anywhere) they are ALWAYS apologetic and accommodating with either replacing your meal or taking it off of your bill. The servers are amazing at what they do. You can tell all of the staff really care about what they do. Finally, THAT POUND CAKE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!“

“I went with a friend for lunch. It was busy, but we could get a seat within 5 minutes. The food was fast and came out in less than 10 minutes after we ordered. In total, we spent $60, which included tax and tip and included two entrees, a sharing dish, a side, and a drink.I got the hash, which came with eggs, bacon, and deliciously melted cheese. The potato hash was crispy yet soft on the inside. I also got a side of fried chicken, which was scrumptious. How can you go wrong? Fried chicken, melted cheese, and bacon.“

The usual decorations were down due to an upcoming filming, but the vibe was unaffected. We had a great server. She had an upbeat personality and was on top of things. The food could be a 4 out of 5 stars, but the overall experience was a 5. I loved the chicken fried steak. The lemon icebox pie was just ok. “I wish I could rate this place higher!! Haven Restaurant and Bar is such a gem. I dined here for the first time last night with friends and everything was simply phenomenal. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin which was absolute perfection. The beef was cooked exceptionally well with the perfect amount of salt. The whipped potatoes were nice and buttery smooth and the spinach was the best spinach I've ever had. It was packed with flavor and the bearnaise sauce accompanied everything so well. We also tried the new Grilled Artichokes which were delicious. The ricotta really put it over the top and again, was seasoned perfectly. The staff was also top notch! Our waiter was fantastic beacuse he was so kind and professional and knew the menu back and front. The brunch manager was still there and he was also amazing and so nice. I live an hour away but will absolutely make the drive to come back again very soon.“

“I went to location across from the Aquarium. From the hostesses to my amazing Server Janiece, the entire experience was awesome! I had the Chicken and waffles and they were good. Both hostess (didnt get her name) and my waitress Janeice recommended the peach cobbler. Having never had peach cobbler I got it on the side. The chicken was flavorful and had nice crunch to it. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“

“Me and a colleague visited for lunch on a Thursday. The service and atmosphere was amazing! The food was good but not as good as I was expecting. “As you can tell by other reviews the food/vibe is on point but what makes Folk Art a repeat option is the valet service.The valet people are great, especially Aaron. He does an amazing job of making us feel comfortable leaving our keys with him. It's a really good feeling being able to enjoy our brunch without having to play the "beat the parking meter game" or worrying about if our vehicle is safe or going to get booted. “The food was fantastic. Thomas, our server, was also great, he refilled our drinks any time they reached halfway and had a very friendly personality. The vibes and music were perfect, specifically would like to mention that the music kept me energetic, while not being too loud to socialize. The drinks had a perfect mix of champagne to OJ, mostly being Champagne. I enjoyed this spot a lot and would definitely recommend. It does start to get busier around noon if you’re looking for a more upbeat setting.“

“Here is an unoriginal take; Secreto is the perfect name of this place because it is the best kept secret in Brookhaven. I have literally never had a bad meal here and the "Community Hour" menu is such an incredible value that it is borderline criminal. The chef is super creative and the specials are always on point, the only "problem" is that the regular menu is ALSO always on point so it can be hard to decide what to get! “I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“A hidden gem for sure!! The food is the ABSOLUTE BEST SOUL FOOD I’ve had in ATLANTA! We enjoyed the salmon, lamb chops, greens, Mac & cheese, yams, and honey corn bread. The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac & cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! “From out of town, decided to try on a whim as I like home cooked chicken, the chicken is on point with a slight kick to it and boy oh boy does chicken fit the bill for delicious with no disappointment. Two on the first visit and one this visit. Everything was delicious this time. The first visit I didn’t care for the dressing or the Lima beans. Neither of us had eaten at The Flying Biscuit before. The restaurant was very easy to find. It sits on the corner of 10th street and Piedmont, but Lord!!!!!!! Parking is absolutely atrocious!!!! Thankfully there is a lot right next to/ behind the building, but Jesus!!!!!! It’s tight and there aren’t many spots. If you have an suv, you are not going to be able to park here. My coworker and I got the flying biscuit breakfast; eggs, chicken sausage patties, grits, and a biscuit. Our server was named Lexi and she was really nice. The decor in the restaurant was eclectic and cute. There is art all over the walls and ceiling. Our food came out super fast and it was hot. We both enjoyed the meal. My coworker said her biscuit kept falling apart, but she enjoyed it still. The grits were super creamy. So much so, that they almost didn’t event taste like grits. They were so good. The chicken sausage was tasty and not greasy at all. My biscuit………was amazing. I needed you to pause for those few seconds to give respect to how good the biscuit tasted. I do have an after picture of my plate. Sorry again…….I was really excited. We only paid $11.27 for two meals. They add a credit card processing fee when you pay using a card. I’d definitely go back here, but I’d have to be in the neighborhood already or taking Uber. This would be a great place to eat breakfast before a day at Piedmont park.Parking: The lot behind/next to the building is free, but it is tight and small.“

“We eat here about once a month for many reasons. It's quieter than most restaurants. I bring two hard of hearing senior adults and we can actually have a conversation while we are there! The waitresses are always very quick, friendly and attentive. And the food is fabulous! This time I had field peas, broccoli casserole, cabbage casserole and green beans. All was very tasty, serving size good, and it comes out so quick! I thought it would be a great place to meet with a client as people online said it was a quiet place for a good meal; it's almost impossible to find quiet restaurants in Atlanta! “It be a hit/miss here but for the most part its a hit. Esp if i keep returning. The chicken is so good. So are there sides but when doing take out it seems less compared to dine-in but im still full and it wasnt bad. Todays visit neg would be the ice/drink machine. Everytime it does take a while for the food to come out, like everytime, so i finished my drink and asked if i can grab some ice and put in cup when i walked up to that ice machine i was sooooo grossed out i said theres NO way i will get anything to drink here. “Have visited this restaurant weekly over the last several months after being referred by a friend. Recently they started charging for what was once complimentary bread. The service has become poor over the last month, our waitress seemed distressed and definitely wanted us in and out.“

“Visited on a nice spring evening and sat outside and enjoyed our meal. They have a wonderful bbq menu with a mix of Tex Mex. After ordering drinks we ordered nacho appetizer and the plantains. The nachos were great and all five of us cleared the platter. The plantains were very good. The table ordered pulled pork, ribs, pork sandwich, and fantastic sides. Our waiter said his favorite is the Brunswick stew and a couple of us ordered and were very happy we took his advice. The service was great and our waiter couldn't have been better. Great meal!“
