“My husband and I came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Parking was easy and from the moment we walked in we were greeted. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were given time to soak in the atmosphere and look over the menu. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters and a Long Island, both were delicious and did not disappoint! My husband had a jack and coke. For our entree I had the salmon sliders( which were recommended by our waitress) they were filling and oh sooo good! My husband had wings and truffle fries which were nice and crispy. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves 10/10 I recommend.“

“Went with friends to the SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET and it was INCREDIBLE! They serve brunch EVERY SUNDAY from 10:30am - 2:30pm. Food was delicious and there were so many options (even for my vegetarian friends!), and the atmosphere was so cozy. The owner was super kind and thanked us for coming. I will be going back and telling everybody because this is the best brunch spot in town. Really great value too.“

The food was made with a tasty southern flair and each dish had my taste buds wondering what could be better than the last bite. We arrived about 6:30pm it was a little busy but not crowded and we were seated straight away by our waitress Tabitha, Her personality was bubbly and refreshing. We had our drinks and first dishes out within 7 minutes of our order. I can't say enough about the service, Tabitha if you read this,.. Just WoW!!! The food really is SECOND to NONE. When we want homecoming we usually visit a larger chain but after today this place has won my business for southern cooking and it is cooked at its finest.. I hope you all visit this place and have the experience we had,.. and I would ask for Tabitha if I was you.. P.S. Bring your appetite..“

“I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“So good! Do not miss this place. What a culinary gem in the heart of Midtown Atlanta! Everything me and my friends ordered was so delicious! I had the Fried Chicken Pimento Crisp Sandwich and the Gouda Mac and Cheese... it was phenomenal. The side of Blackened Brussels was literally one of the best things I have ever eaten and I didn't think I liked Brussels Sprouts! Go figure!

I enjoyed the Beignets for dessert and they were epic! Light, crisp with the perfect amount of powdered sugar and an out of this world Rosemary Hazelnut Praline dipping sauce. Incredible ending to a stellar meal.

Met the chef/owner Jordan and he was amazing and oh so talented. We loved everything he made so much... we ate here twice during our 4 day visit from Dallas!

Easy Parking in the Lot B garage around the corner. Discourse Eatery validated our parking for 2 hours.

“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“

I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“
