“I currently am on the search for the best soul food restaurant and I believe I found the right one. This restaurant has a great atmosphere, amazing service and lots of options to pick from. I love their meat options and I must have dessert the red velvet cake they offer is really amazing I definitely recommend this spot to everyone and anyone.“

“Decided to give it another try as previous experience was not the best, waited almost 45mins to an hour to order and get served. Visited for lunch yesterday, ordered the salmon blt and my friend ordered grouper sandwich as both came highly recommended. Grouper was fishy and was sent back. Salmon was just ok, a bit greasy. Server only concerned about tip, was charged for house salad of $8 instead of meal charge being removed all together. Will not eat here again. Drinks were average.“

“Went today for lunch with my husband and we all enjoyed all the food! We will definitely be back! I got smothered chicken over mashed potatoes, green beans, and yams. I thought I would have leftovers but I it all and now wishing I ordered more!“

“My husband and my daughter and I went to the Commons for lunch Saturday and had a very wonderful time. We had reserved a table out on the patio through open table. When you eat at the commons you don't just get a meal you get an entire experience! Our table overlooked the lake and we got to enjoy the Fall colors of the trees and even the geese swimming around and flying by! It was so peaceful and relaxing! For lunch my husband and I ordered the hamburger and fries which were massive and delicious and my daughter ordered the salmon with rice that she thoroughly enjoyed! And we topped the whole meal off with a huge piece of chocolate cake and one of their special cocktails! The service was very friendly and prompt with just the right amount of attention! The commons is one of our most favorite places to dine at!“
