“First time diner here and will definitely be back! Food and atmosphere was great, but the service was excellent! Evelyn took care of me and my partner seeing that we were first timers, and made the experience 100/10. Ask to be sat in her section!! Will definitely be back again :)“
“Food was delicious. Had the honey garlic shrimp and broccoli sweet potato. Server was nice but forgot a few things and had to be reminded. Other staff was nice as well, helping where they could. Place is small and homey which I loved. The menu is small as well with some items not being served at lunch. Parking is free and mostly street and some had limits on time.“
“Babbbbbeeeeeee. When I first got here I was a little nervous about the food. But plz find somebody else to play wit bc they ain’t play. Unc in the kitchen and Mackenzie at the bar wasn’t holding nobody tf up. Everything was delicious tuh wings broccoli drinks and hookah $25 yes $25 not 40 like the other places. Don’t walk but run y’all ssa here.“
“The food is absolutely delicious!! The flavors and variety of dishes were worth the 30 min drive from my house to the restaurant. The owner explain the different fish & meats to me, how they were prepared & suggested what to pair with my main dish choice. He even gave me small cup samples to taste to help me make my meal choice; never have I had service at a restaurant like this before. Please, if you are looking for authentic African meals, a nice atmosphere and great, service you’ve got to give African Palace a try!“
“I went here on last Friday to hear the live band. It was a nice atmosphere. They have the strongest mixed drinks in the city. You definitely have to visit here at least once. I will be back this Friday to check it out again.Parking: There’s a lot of parking in the food depot parking lot which is next door“
“I love this place. Their menu is so good that anything you have hits the spot. I've never had bad service, which is impressive because I've gone at all hours and days. It they stayed open late, they would run all the Waffle Hpuses out of business. People are awesome, food is stellar, and I love how they are moving to a community style eatery!“
“As one of the only restaurants on property, this place has to hold a heavy burden. That burden is well carried here! The onion rings are spectacular, and when I asked "How is the coleslaw?" Grace responded, "Honey, there ain't nothing to that stuff, get the onion rings." She was right! Those Onion rings were TOP NOTCH! I personally had the Commons Double-Stack Turkey, (great, the meat was delicious and the bacon cooked perfectly, with texas-toast and fresh lettuce and tomatoes.) and I had the salmon BLT, the fish was delicious and paired well with the Garlic Aioli. The setting is beautiful and overlooking the lake at Stone Mountain cannot be beat! The staff is kind and the service is impeccible. I'm just sad that this park is falling into obscurity, more people used to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area, and now it seems like most of the traffic is just for golf.“
“Favorite sandwiches, prepared with exceptional choices in breads; many offerings of sides, prices are competitive, rewards offers are great. Pleasant associates; clean, parking great. Located in shopping plaza- easy in/out. One of my favorite places for take home meals.“
“Not from the area and just stopped in for lunch and hit a grand slam! Took a chance on this barbecue place and it was by far one of the best meals and barbecue I’ve ever had in my 53 years on this planet.Don’t have a reason to go to Stone Mountain very often, but when I do I’ll for certain be stopping in again.“
“Ms. Pat's Southern Bistro in Stone Mountain offers an unforgettable soul food experience. From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality set the tone. The menu boasts classic Southern dishes cooked with love and authenticity. The fried chicken was a crispy delight, the collard greens rich and flavorful, and the cornbread had that perfect homemade touch.“
“This is the most pleasant American Deli I have ever been to. The staff here are all so polite and welcoming, food is done super quickly and was really good. So good I had to write a review bc I’ve never experienced an American Deli like this, will definitely be coming back!“
“We were here for breakfast. We enjoyed the service. It was rushed with only 1 table being free & all the high chairs being available.Service was too quick despite the kitchen being busy.We ordered an All star special.Sunny side up, hashed brown, choco chips waffle, chicken sausage & chocolate milk“
“It is no longer NAMED "We Got Soul". The name is "Ms. Pat's" The name may have changed but the food, taste hasn't! I went and I had the baked chicken, greens, and cabbage. Everything was good. I LOVED the baked chicken! The cabbage had a little more spice than I like, but it was still good. I gave my greens to my hubby who loves spiced up food!! But, that still doesn't take away from the quality of the food. The baked chicken was so good I had to meet the cook, Joe and ordered a whole pan. He was very pleased, pleasant!!! I will definitely go back. If you want some soul food please go visit!!! You won't be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Greens, Mac and cheese, green beans, black eye peas, rice, sweet potatoes“
“I really enjoyed meeting the owners and networking with others. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Fast, courteous service and the vibe was on point. My STEM brain thought the establishment was a Technology centered (Pi- Bytes) I LOVED It. We will definitely be back with family and friends in the near future.“
“I've never been to a restaurant x3 in one week... but this restaurant was worth it. Service is wonderful, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The last time we were there, we were shown to a seat close to the bar, and the owner spotted our hesitancy and immediately whisked us to a table by the window. That kind of attention/attentiveness you expect in Buckhead, not Stone Mountain. Our server Michael was wonderful as well, very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend!“
